what do you think of Irans newest warship? Posted on February 28, 2023 by PrepHole Contributor what do you think of Irans newest warship?
has using civilian vehicles as war machines ever worked out well for anyone?
Chad vs Libya
It worked the US in ww2. Escort carriers and liberty ships were vital for the war effort.
this is more akin to
Escort carriers sure, but how would liberty ships qualify?
The SS Stephen Hopkins used its 4 inch gun to sink the German raider the Stier. The SS Lawton.B Evans not only survived attack by a U Boat but went onto shoot down 5 enemy planes. Mostly though, they were turkey shoots.
remember when a German cargo ship blasted an Australian light cruiser at point blank range and saznk it resulting in over 600 casualties
>built and displayed
>Japan never invaded in fear of its might
this is not the real ship
That's just a cargo ship with grey paint.

looks like an obsolete small oil tanker
sick yachts bro
There is another, less ridiculous one. They are both docked in Brazil right now.
why not just build a destroyer with aircraft facilities
Hulls are expensive. Much cheaper to repurpose ones that already exist.
Man, watching it being split in half by a jdam would be dope
A good use of sparse materials to give a small navy air power
IRAN HAD BETTER HOPE A WAVE DOESN'T HIT THE FRONT, THEN IT WOULD HAVE TO BE TOWED OUTSIDE THE ENVIRONMENT
Some of their catamarans and fast attack boats look cool. Container ships painted grey are lame.
We'll see how their "aircraft carrier" turns out but I'm fairly sure it's just going to be for drones.
The Atlantic Conveyor wasn't a success story.
It took a looong time to sink and during that time most of the helicopters aboard managed to evacuate. They were later crucial in delivering supplies and weapons to the islands
What are you on about?
Only one chinook, the famous Bravo November and one wessex were saved.
With only one chinook no large scale moves of infantry forces by helicopter were possible and most of the troops had to walk up to fifty miles to Stanley.
Nta but your forgetting it brought with it 14 Harriers and 2 Chinooks that did make it.
The Harriers being key to the campaign the helicopters not so much.
only 1 was evacuated
the loss of these helicopters forced the British forces to conduct a forced march across the island to Stanley rather than conduct an air assault
How many outboard motors does it have?
QuickSink would fuck the absolute shit out of that unarmoured tub.
Why hello there
Luddic Path looking ass
i honestly don't know why they would waste resources on building this piece of garbage
israel can sink this thing at any moment and there aint shit they can do about it
