Last time I saw someone tell someone else to “touch grass” I looked through their Twitter and they tweeted 90 times in the past day. I think it’s mostly projection.
Walking on grass is healthy and feels good. Lots of nerves on the sole of the foot. I think contacting grass raises energy. Good times playing in the grassy fields as a boy.
It makes me unbelievably angry. Every time someone says it to me I pace around my room making angry noises. It pisses me off to no end. Sometimes I punch the wall. Once I accidentally punched my television and broke it.

It also feels like when some random person tells you to Google something that’s a basic part of the job you’ve held for 15 years and hold a senior position in (literally had someone tell me to Google the word “calibration” because I was using it wrong; I’m a senior metrologist).
