They have a better chance of taking back Crimea than Russia has of becoming a respectable nation within the next century. cry about it some more, weakling.

why is the next option after an airport a fricking elementary school? aren't there literally dozens of types of other buildings to use before you say "hey lets make our HQ where children learn!"

        >aren't there literally dozens of types of other buildings to use

Such as? Schools are perfect because they're large, organized structures with a lot of open interior space (cafeterias, gyms, auditoriums, etc). And it's not like school is in session so there are no civilians. They're also all over the place.

It's why schools are used as shelters for natural disasters and emergency services.

office buildings, parking garages, apartments, residential homes, grocery stores, etc. literally anything but a school, but keep making excuses.

Yes, put soldiers were civilians actually are during war time. Not the school, that's where the heckin' children aren't are since school isn't in fricking session during a war.

Difference is that Schools are owned by Public/Government.

Most of the things you listed as alternatives are typically a private property. And taking these might lead to some clashes with civilians and lower their trust in armed forces.

So Government allowing to use school as facilities for Soldiers is very much within Government right and jurisdiction. Also Government will typically announce that those schools are no longer open for public.

The most hilarious thing about this war is how Russia are actually conscripting those Donbabwe Black folk and sending them in human wave attacks. The Russian government killed more separatists than Ukraine could in 200 years lmao. The male population of the separatist states will be completely decimated.

Most of the people still living in these regions are mentally ill and settled there after 2014. They fully deserve whatever happens to them now. Not even Russian-owned businesses and factories were spared the looting back in 2014-2015.

Not to mention Russia's annexation of Crimea without any declaration of war which saw Russia sending in thousands of "volunteers" and "concerned citizens" as if they never ordered it. Interesting how the separatists didn't start getting bombed until they tried to secede and join Russia. It's almost as if they brought it on themselves. Also, Russia only cares about NATO expansion because it gets rid of their ability to bully and invade their neighbors without severe consequences.

why yes, yes you can. congrats on figuring that one out. Rape and Torture are both terrible horrific things, but fighting back has never made the experience better. When a woman is raped and tries to fight back, it quickly ends up with her being murdered. While yes she SHOULD fight back against her rapist, she should realize that doing so is a great risk to herself, moreso than just taking the rape.

Yes, they should've. If Nazi Germany gained control over Russia where would've never been a Communist Russia or USSR, and the USSR wouldn't have been able to influence China and other South East Asian countries to becomes Communist.

Nazi's taking over Russia would've unironically been a great thing for world history.

I know this is a rhetorical question, and you're a fricking moron who can't fathom this, but the single best thing you can do to prevent an attempted rape from becoming a completed rape is to struggle so much you make it difficult or you inflict a defensive injury.
Most rapists have done it before and do not like having to rape and murder or murder you beforehand. If they have a scratch mark and you have a chunk of skin under their fingernails they have a fricking problem. They are aware of this and will find an easier target or at least try again another time.
But again, you're a b***h so the thought of resisting anything seems lost upon you.

You've only just spotted this? The pro-rapist vibes were obvious in an earlier post.

again, you're mentioning "blame" when that was never a factor in the conversation. We're talking about the inevitabilities of modern warfare and how ukies cry when their buildings get destroyed, even though thats a very basic part of war.

War is war and it takes two to tango. Maybe ukies should've surrendered instead of "fighting to the last ukrainian" and losing everything.

What always leaves me scratching my head. Why didn't Russia occupy Donbass in 2014 when they drove right through it. Or at least set up a peace keeping force of some kind. It's almost like it wasn't valuable until all those gas pockets were discovered a few years later.

They tried. They failed. They literally couldn't advance any further due to all the deep rooted issues that were made plain for everyone to see during their February invasion. If anything Russia was in an even worse shape in 2014-2015.

The current invasion is the result of 8 years of preparation and has seen the latest and greatest Russian weapons, as well as the entirety of their standing army.
In 2014, they only had success because Ukraine was in an even worse state and because the USA president was a b***h.

one example is the post-maidan government passing laws that would disallow classes in schools to be taught in russian, while they could still be taught in polish, which is a fractional minority in ukraine: https://www-osw-waw-pl.translate.goog/pl/publikacje/komentarze-osw/2019-06-11/ukraincy-nie-gesi-ustawa-o-jezyku-panstwowym-ukrainy?_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en-US&_x_tr_pto=wapp
      >The general intention of the education regulations is to close down schools with Russian as the language of instruction as soon as possible and to limit the teaching of Russian as a subject as much as possible, as well as to weaken the negative reaction of Hungary, Poland and Romania by postponing the final Ukrainianization of secondary schools with the language of instruction of these nations.
people of donbass felt this was a direct repercussion of their support for yanukovich. that the pro-maidan government wanted their culture eradicated.
ultimately revolutions are about what people feel is wrong.

Maybe don't live in a country where you can't speak the language? This seems like a simple problem to solve. Just go to the giant country 20 miles away where they DO speak your language?

Or is there some reason why people might not want to immigrate to Russia?

If that was true, why didn't that land use their language? See, you refute yourself.
                > they just wanted it to not be in ukraine
I'm not sure if you know this, but Russia, the country where they speak the same language, is the largest in the world. There's plenty of places they could go and be perfectly welcome. Yet they didn't want to go there. Why not? Is there something wrong with living in Russia that makes people want to avoid it?

It must be, considering most of the educated people left Donbabwe in 2014/2015 and moved Ukrainian controlled territories after russians did their stuff there.

That's the one argument I've never seen them even address. Why didn't those poor, oppressed Russian-speakers just move 20 miles away into Russia, where they would be welcomed with open arms. Why would they not want to do that?

Either they weren't really oppressed, or Russia is such a hellscape that being bombed by corrupt troony comedians is still preferable.

Donbas was certainly mistreated pre-2014, but it wasn't at the level that Russia wants you to believe. Strelkov himself said that the seperation movement would have fizzled out just like in Kharkov and Odessa, if Russia hadn't moved in to organise them and take action.
