Your pic looks like it was once an AGL, maybe it was hit by a nade and fucked up.
The tubes are maybe RPG-27s and I think the guy called the ATGM a stugna but it's probably a Kornet.
>ukrainian equipment has instructions on it in russian or ukrainian language by this point in the war >russians capture some equipment and use it for this reason
It's not last year where they had to send a trainer and a translator over, all that shit they're sending has for the most part been localized. The languages are similar too, at least similar enough that a speaker of one could read the other if they can read.
>The languages are similar
My dude Ukrainian is just Russian with a funny accent. Imagine someone transcribing a heavy Scottish accent, that's basically Ukrainian.
They must have captured some NATO ammo from Ukranians at an earlier point. The linked grenades are for a mk19 and those dark green ammo cans with the orange diamonds are western as well. Using captured enemy equipment happens all the time in war.
Yeah, I was trying to work out if this is a new trench or one of the ones they were supposed to have spent months fortifying.
I've come to expect shit trenches from the Russians, but even this has failed the low standards I have set for them. So much so that I want to point out some key points starting just how shallow the whole thing is. The Ukies are crouching and their heads are still sticking over the top.
This is the best dugout they have in this footage and it's just some pallets with a thin layer of dirt on top to keep the ammo storage safe from the drones.
Everything else is just a cubbyhole clawed out of the dirt which seems like a very good way of getting yourself buried alive.
The whole trench also seems to be far too straight in places, so a shell or a grenade falling in there will wreck everyone in those segments. The walls are also unsupported and already crumbling, so I'm not sure how much protection this would give you from a near miss anyway.
The last pic shows a bit of this, but I also wanted to highlight the wonderful and sanitary toilet solution they have here and what looks like a box of grenades in easy reach of it.
says, I think this might be the rear part of the first line, but I'm probably looking at the wrong place.

The Ukrainians pushed throw a couple of lines mines and "trenches"
Russians keep moving the "line" back. It's just shitty series of ditches now. Everything has been bombed the shit out. They are going about 2 or 3 kms a day just in this break out in one direction or another. They took the hills and cut the lines for russians. It's very surgical now in the south.in the north the Russians offensive failed and Ukrainians are pushing them a km a week back. It was a slaughter up north for Russians

They decided to say fuck it and just flank Novoprokopivka and push Verbove at the same time. But they don't advacne two km/day that's bullshit.
Pic related seems to be what they are after.

These seem like improvised dugouts made as some desperate stop gap measure. I wouldn't count on whole defensive line being built like this. Esepcially sinjce we know they were using mechanisation for it.
We've seen images of proper Russian fortifications. Reinforced with wood and shit. Dunno how widespread but they do exist. Ukraine complained about Russia chopping down acres of wood for the timber.
I remember images of the Ukrainian defences at the Belarus border showing them doing quite deep, but they were all reinforced and probably had machinery to help with water. Or it was just small parts.
False. All the katsap trenches I've visited was amazingly constructed and well fortified. I guess it's some kind of temporary thing. Ruskies are good at it.
>wtf is an atgm doing on the frontline ?
Waiting for tanks?
Why wouldn't you have an atgm on the front line?
Not going to be much use in the rear after the AFU does an armoured push.
What the fuck is that a ditch. That's now you dig a trench. Fucking Russians just dig another half meter down or any explosion just shoots down ditches. Trenches being deep enough gives more surface area to absorb fucking Russians that ditch is counter productive
So the russians are sleeping and shitting in those ditches? They look pretty hastily made.
Also if I were a uke I would be paranoid about booby traps. How do they make sure they don't detonate bombs?
i would imagine that this is a recently taken trench from from the russians and that they are in the process of reinforcing the trench to counter any counter-attacks notice how the russian konkurs atgm is facing 1 direction and the ammo and bipod for a Mk19 AGL is facing the other direction. clearly they are still setting up and Mk19 hasn't arrived yet
No, I don't think so, the floors too even in most places for that. I think they just dug deep enough to lie down in it and just stopped. There doesn't seem to have been any attempt to shore up the sides at all.
I don't think there's any secret to that. The problem is they won't just lay down and die; they insist on raping, looting, and murdering everyone else around them first.
I just don't think they know any better. The infantry, especially the penal legionnaires, are probably just taught the bare basics of how their weapons work and then get shipped off to the frontlines in the hope that someone out there will be able to teach them the rest of it on the job.
Oh man you didn't see that? One of the heavy nationalist war bloggers was decrying the fact that "These civilian contractors are really trying, and mean well, but many of these trenches just aren't built right, sometimes the opposite of how they should look, and the positioning is all wrong so that if you're in the trench you're looking directly at a hill, but the enemy could use the hill to hide behind while seeing you!"
and then the photos got posted with the name of the partisan group scrawled on the hand of one of the workmen...
There do be times when it's probably better to assume malevolence than incompetence.
Does somebody have the video of that Ukrainian soldier casually walking through some Russian trench, checking for loot like a stroll through a supermarket, and humming like DOODOODODODOO
Never thought listening to The Doors in this context
who?
Philistine
no, the doors
you fucker
outstanding
the literal whos
will they ever do Lil Peep? Unironically he's popular in Russia. Likely emo taps into the Russian psyche.
rap isn't music
Emo aint' rap pal. More akin to punk and alt-rock.
I've never heard of this Lillian Peep, and I thought emo was over
Lil Peep is White people music, if you don't like him you're not White.
Next time I'll put Lil Peep - Ghost Girl in the video.
What's your request on what to put on the plane?

also a lot of HATO ammo boxes
I appreciate the music choice. Can someone translate what the dude says? They seem pretty nonchalant going through that """trench""".
Plenty of shit laying around, a trophy fagot, promised to not show any bodies, but there's too many of them.
>promised to not show any bodies, but there's too many of them
what a problem to have
>khorne group
Oh no no no slaanesh-sisters how we respond to this
Shut the fuck up retard

You aren't supposed to take that bait.
Rab C Nesbitt is speaking English, you know.
You mean that Muskovian is mangled Russian.
oh huh must have captured a lend lease Mk19
They must have captured some NATO ammo from Ukranians at an earlier point. The linked grenades are for a mk19 and those dark green ammo cans with the orange diamonds are western as well. Using captured enemy equipment happens all the time in war.

BLOOD BLOOD BLOOD
for your viewing pleasure, some tank porn:
makes you wonder just how much HE-FRAG is being used in this war
95% he+heat
those leos?
leo-72s
>leo-72s
They have auto-loaders like the Russians? They seem neat.
Song? Sounds like something from a command and conquer game
I think you're right about it being a C&C song, but I can't work out which one it comes from.
Actually on a second listen, it reminds me more of the rock they replaced breaking benjamin with in the halo 2 remake
Christ, they'd haved one year and this is the best they can do when it comes to trenches?
look up the webm of the stuck stryker, that's apparently le heckin anti-tank ditch
a normal trench, enough only to stop a wheeled APC
Yeah, I was trying to work out if this is a new trench or one of the ones they were supposed to have spent months fortifying.

How considerate of the russians to dig their own mass graves in advance
>just some pallets
do you not understand how rare and valuable pallets are in Russia?
These seem like improvised dugouts made as some desperate stop gap measure. I wouldn't count on whole defensive line being built like this. Esepcially sinjce we know they were using mechanisation for it.
We've seen images of proper Russian fortifications. Reinforced with wood and shit. Dunno how widespread but they do exist. Ukraine complained about Russia chopping down acres of wood for the timber.
A big issue both sides have had is shallow ground water in some areas, you can't go deeper than 4ft without living is a swamp.
I remember images of the Ukrainian defences at the Belarus border showing them doing quite deep, but they were all reinforced and probably had machinery to help with water. Or it was just small parts.
WEBM for the WEBM THRONE
Russians can't even construct a good trench, look at the state of that shithole.
False. All the katsap trenches I've visited was amazingly constructed and well fortified. I guess it's some kind of temporary thing. Ruskies are good at it.
>Ruskies are good at it
Contractniki might be, I'm sure mobiks don't get that kind of training, if they even get a shovel.
wtf is an atgm doing on the frontline ?
they really are fielding everything they can get their hands on
>wtf is an atgm doing on the frontline ?
Waiting for tanks?
Why wouldn't you have an atgm on the front line?
Not going to be much use in the rear after the AFU does an armoured push.
Why would someone put an ATGM overwatching a massive open field in an armor heavy war? It's makes no sense at all.
What the fuck is that a ditch. That's now you dig a trench. Fucking Russians just dig another half meter down or any explosion just shoots down ditches. Trenches being deep enough gives more surface area to absorb fucking Russians that ditch is counter productive
Im confused, are Khorne the good guys now?

no, but immaterium/khorne work east of robotino:

>Thats Vietnam music man, can't we get our own fuckin music?
Was the trench dug deeper and narrower, but the walls have crumbled over time maybe?
No, I don't think so, the floors too even in most places for that. I think they just dug deep enough to lie down in it and just stopped. There doesn't seem to have been any attempt to shore up the sides at all.
do russians secretly wish to die?
I don't think there's any secret to that. The problem is they won't just lay down and die; they insist on raping, looting, and murdering everyone else around them first.
I just don't think they know any better. The infantry, especially the penal legionnaires, are probably just taught the bare basics of how their weapons work and then get shipped off to the frontlines in the hope that someone out there will be able to teach them the rest of it on the job.
>secretly
it's not a secret. why do you think russians are all alcoholics?
what are the exiles of Khorne doing in Ukraine
>what are the exiles of Khorne doing in Ukraine
What they do best?
Oh come the fuck on that's up there with the germans using garden gnomes as labor and then being surprised when the shit they made would break.
Oh man you didn't see that?
