    The Shitblade 300 sucks because it's a short-range 40mm grenade with a 720p camera

Ukies barely used them, and prefer to just jury rig commercial quadcopters for either bombing runs or suicide missile strikes. I'm utterly shocked how fast these quadcopters can motor since they can catch up with a speeding vehicle.

That's a lot of dead Russians, good lads
Never forget: internet vatniks seethe loudest about that which they fear, knowing their drafting is imminent and terrible

Internet vatniks are rarely Russians themselves. The Russians have their own internet, barely speak English, and are all on vk. The pro-Russians you see online are all brown third worlders who hate USA/NATO and see Russia as their liberator. And the others are just bot-farms of paid shills in some warehouse in St. Petersberg literally being paid to pursuade people (like those brown people) that Russia is glorious heroes.

If you go to PrepHole most of the Russians are chill and mopey and depressed. The actual average Russian will have no strong opinions on the war, but will just flee once they get a draft notice.

Switchblade was designed around GWOT requirements.
IE killing a small number of unprotected insurgents, at close range to enable units at the squad level to take out enemies without putting themselves in harm's way or causing collateral damage.

It is not designed for mechanised, industrial and highly destructive warfare.
In this war there were more shells fired in single days than the entire Afghan campaign.

As it stands, besides potentially better jamming resistance, the switchblade doesn't offer much more than FPV drones that cost an order of magnitude less.

      This.
It's like comparing a pistol to a cannon: Both have their purposes, but some people look at the raw numbers of performance and would declare the pistol to be a failure compared to the cannon.

It offers 10x the range and double the speed.

Ukraine needs weapons that will kill armor, not personnel, besides they have plenty of alternatives that are way cheaper.

You forget that the Javelin has a range of only 4km 10x less than both loitering munitions, which makes the crew vulnerable to mortars and artillery strikes

        Anonymous

Hes not talking about Javelins, hes pointing out the Switchblade 600 has a warhead comparable to the Javelin.
        Also:
        >It is designed to fly out to 40 km (25 mi) in 20 minutes, then loiter for another 20 minutes (giving it an 80 km (50 mi) total range)

      Anonymous

The hypothetical max range of the Switchblade 600 is in excess of 80km if you use the same metrics as the Russians.

I'm just here to point out that turdies are only mentioning ground-launched loitering drones because if you count aircraft-launched warheads they look like the pathetic fricks they are.

Reverse all the ratios and you might be halfway closer to the truth.
This is trivially easy to check even for normies , so OP has no excuse for being moronic.

A 200 dollar chink drone with an RPG-7 warhead twisty-tied to it trumps them all. Because you can make 30 of them for the price of one of these dumbass military industry boondoggles.

Lancet is more of a loitering munition than a suicide drone as looks like it needs guidance from another drone to hit precisely.
Ukraine has received no loitering munitions so far besides the stuff they make themselves from Chinese drones.
However the lancet is ultimately a poor man's version of a medium range high precision guided missile with a small warhead.

Low volume of production, low damage, not effective under enemy EW. That's what you get for designing your arms around fighting goatherders

I am fairy convinced that Switchblades are responsible for a high number of smoker incidents on the Russian side of the border. They were just given to SOF and not frontline troops.
