"purple haze" that you see when you close your eyes is best overall camo color and used on some WW1 aircraft for that reason.

Its the default neutral background as proven by testing.

However I guess even back then it was linked to being a gay and no one wanted to fly gay colored airplanes.

I bet when you get horizon blue dirty its not a bad "purple haze". 🙂

PS-you will also see PH under strong dose of LSD. Its what your brain shows you when all the neurons are doing rapid fire on their own.

I guess its related but diff from "pink elephants" shapes seen when very drunk. Its a haze not shapes, and starts at the top as if a fog coming down.

who knows, maybe it make a cum back with new woke US military

IMO its the most optically camo correct with Crye's impressionist inspired CP multicam the other contender.

an Impressionist painting viewed at correct distance seem MORE real than photo or even REAL LIFE because of how it tickles your brain's visual processing to "fill in".

          What is the correct distance?

IIRC further than you'd think 25-100ft and varies by painting and EFFECT varies by distance.

IIRC at a museum you will see people changing up distance and ooh and ahhh.

its a real craft and much too it to create one with paints. they say you can get SOME effect with photo repro but not really.

Notice everyone and their uncle is switching to close copy of Multicam, pretty much exactly CP but just diff or original blobs enough to evade Copyright. IIRC Mr Crye was a fine arts guy, not science or biz or engineering.

PS-on some big camo forum someone was shitting on straight US GI olive drab showing plain computer gen panels VS other camo VS terrain.

But in REAL WORLD on objects with diff angles and SHADOWING good old OD takes on whole new life.

NuttinFancy did a video showing straight pure FDE on a rifle mono-chrome actually works real good for same reason.

A fricking meme that only works in semi arid environments, like fricking Afghanistan.

It is fricking me up how baked you're coming off to the normies and yet this is the exact logic vorticists and other modernists were applying in the war effort

I mean we've come full circle and troops are now back to wearing brightly colored armbands for ID, so I guess going back to solid colors is the next step in the circle.

That only works if everyone does it. Everyone’s going to hope everyone else does it while they keep wearing camo

Anon camouflage dosen't fricking matter when your commanders seriously believe that being brave enough means causes machine gun fire and shrapnel to deflect off of your uniform. The French Army was almost as bad as the Tzarist Russia's.

Elan is a bit different than that. They recognized the modern battlefield would be extremely deadly, their best solution was basically to make their soldiers brave enough that units would remain combat effective with extreme casualties.
