      how?

I don't trust any weapon that wont penetrate lvIII armor.

Good response. I don't foresee myself using it against ppl with body armor even though

      >literally imagined up by black hawk down "elite" operators to tactically one hit emaciated African Swarms when you find yourself tactically immersed in a failed state when your expensive ass ride takes a shit in the ghetto.

and you wonder why its co-opted by american mall ninjas with racially tinged SHTF fantasies.

      thinks I do.

Why would you want a double feed mag? The whole point of .458 socom was to use stanag mags

For greater capacity. The original point doesn't fit my use case.

Aren't there quadstack 60-round casket mags for Stanag magwells?

I haven't found one that works with 458

Yeah basically just a MDR chambered in .45 Raptor or .45 vrap so it doesn't feed like shit while actual double stacking

I can't imagine that'll work well in .458, but if you ever try it, let us know how it goes.

The ridges on that .458 SOCOM literally remind me of this: basically a 7.62mm semi-caseless bullet.

basically the propellant is in the bullet itself and so shoots out the back like a rocket. Pretty cool and is more compact than a normal cartridge.

I remember reading the TFB article on that bullet. Any updates from the maker? Seems like a promising idea for massive subsonic bullets from small guns/mags.

haven't heard anything about this since that article, but I'm also rooting for something like this. About time someone brought some innovation to the ol' bullet and cartridge system we've had for 150+ years.

400 legend is a ~2200ft*lb thumper based on the x39 case and is thus double stackable in AR mags. That’s what you want. If only someone made 30rd AR mags for it.

Correction: 2400ft*lb actually, just looked it up. It is seriously powerful.
