It's a decoy tree or decoy bush that's been placed and arranged in a way, that it looks like it's concealing something of value.

Vehicle falls in hole and gets stuck, position is too hot to bring in another vehicle to pull stuck vehicle out. It's even conceivable that some of the holes are intentional and then hidden with light cover (think plywood with a little dirt on top) to make cheap and easy tank traps.

I once drove a bulldozer into a trench that was covered by dirt covered plywood. It turned into an all day project to get that fricker pulled out of the trench, even with another bulldozer to help.

That's pretty autistic but also something that can be automated with some software. At least, I assime they have to have made software that solves those spot the difference games they put on kid's menus

NTA, but Andrew is definitely somewhere on the spectrum. You can see it in his other posts. For precise geo location and loss counting, it's useful. For any kind of discussion about a subject, he utterly refuses to accept any reality other than his own.

          Who are your go-tos?
ATP Geopolitics is nice because of the regular and frequent updates aggregating everything that has happened in the last 24h and general objectivity regardless of the stance. but his personal takes are normie tier. Also he seethes over obvious trolling thinking that they are genuine beliefs

Perun, Joe Blogs for economics, Anders Puck Nielsen but he post infrequently, Silicon Curtain often has good stuff, Mark Galeotti is good listen. He probably has the best understanding of the russian mindset. Zeihan is interesting also because sometimes ge can tie together stuff that no one else cares to even look at.

Anders Puck Nielsen is highly underrated, he's probably the best actual professional defense analyst who's commenting on the war right now. I've literally never seen a take from him that didn't turn out to be true.

Russian jokes about their version of the genie granting 3 wishes (the golden fish) is still the best insight into their psyche:
                >"What is it you desire most?" asked the Golden fish to the peasant Ilya
                >"My neighbour Marat has a beautiful milk cow and I do not"
