This, just stay home. You can push degeneracy and raise housing costs elsewhere

I suppose tourism can impact housing prices through AirBnB and that shit, but it seems like you're trying too hard.

Housing prices tripled over 3 years in parts of Idaho and Montana from coastal homosexuals suddenly decided Idaho and Montana were the best states to flee to when their costal shitholes became filled with homeless people and crime.

yeah but when vermin from CA visit other states, they somehow get the idea that they might be welcome to move there. So, the strategy really must be to make them feel as unwelcome and unwanted as possible.

can't go wrong anywhere in the pan handle really. Caribou-Targhee is dope too, but probably a clusterfrick this time of year

Definitely visit the Frank Church Wilderness/River of No Return. Craters of the Moon Natl Monument and Hell's Half Acre are really cool if you like semi-arid volcanic stuff. Boise, Salmon-Challis, Payette, and Targhee National Forests are all pretty sweet to hike/camp in. Salmon-Challis has a lot of fires right now though, could be shut down. Tons of rivers all around Idaho, most of any state I think, so definitely take some time to do kayak/canoe/fishing. Sawtooth and Centennial Mountains are pretty neat but very touristy especially if you're out by Stanley/Ketchum, very affluent area also. Can't speak for Northern Idaho much but I hear Coeur d'Alene and the surrounding areas are nice.

I appreciate it. This is what I was looking for. I assume the weather will be good this time of year?

Weather kinda depends. If you're out east by Caribou-Targhee you have a lot of elevation gain in the Island Park area so it's a little cooler. I was there a couple weeks ago and it was 80-90ish and mostly sunny while Boise and Twin Falls were sitting at 100+. Also with Twin Falls, you have the Snake River Canyon and Shoshonne Ice Caves which are both super cool to see

Can confirm for CT forest being a clusterfrick. It's a great area but suffers from being so close to Yellowstone and is almost always filled with tourists outside of the cooler months
