UPS just updated it’s firearm policy. Individuals may no longer ship a firearm.

>Shipments containing Firearm Products are accepted for transportation only from shippers who are federally licensed and have an approved UPS agreement for the transportation of Firearm Products.

>UPS accepts packages containing firearms (as defined by Title 18, Chapter 44, and Title 26, Chapter 53 of the United States Code) and firearm parts that do not constitute firearms as defined by federal law (together, “Firearm Products”) for shipment only as a contractual service and only from Shippers who are licensed importers, licensed manufacturers, licensed dealers, or licensed collectors (as defined in Title 18, Chapter 44 of the United States Code) to authorized recipients, as outlined in the approved UPS agreement for the transportation of Firearm Products.

I tried to ship some ammo yesterday, but the UPS guy wouldn't let me stating this new rule. It also applies to ANY firearm related parts or products, so if you're trying to ship a barrel or some gun components and you identify them as such, UPS will not accept them.
Instead I had to schedule and pay for a fucking pickup

There is currently a three-prong conspiracy to eliminate gun rights and ownership in the U.S.

      >strong-arm legislation in blue states allowing gun manufacturers being sued out of business
      >private companies imposing rules making the gun industry prohibitively burdensome to operate
      >federal/ATF enforcement and harassment to discourage gun ownership

Great examples of all of these just recently. Newsome's new CA law, the ATF cracking down on people who buy two firearms at once, and now this. Eventually they will make it so ammo manufacturers are no longer able to get products to store.

hmmmm I wonder if it means the UPS store will now start opening packages """suspected""" of containing gun parts. I have a PO box there since I can't trust you degenerates not to show up at my front door in fursonas, but some places I've ordered from in the past openly write "tacticool gear supply co" right on the box. I'm on good terms with the employees at my local store, but I can see that they would search my shit if say a new employee joined who wanted to at out """problematic""" people and heard about me through existing employees.

They already do that. The only package shipment service that doesn't require a warrant to open is USPS and it isn't worth the risk because of enhanced mail fraud charges. You'll spend more time in prison for shipping a gun than raping a kid

I'm not sending a gun though, that's retarded. I mean sending something like a foregrip, or hell a pouch, could be considered """suspect""" to the right nogunz.

USPS only requires a warrant if the package is First Class or Priority only. Any other package is fair game. They are also allowed to open the parcel for repackaging if the packaging is compromised.

          >UPS hubs and higher
Which go by UPS rules you can see on the net
When you do pick ups through them they go by UPS rules. Personally however the last gun I shipped to an FFL the driver gave me a hard time, but that was in April

That’s why you see libertarians screaming vatnik talking points about globohomo and drag queen story hour to attack western governments. This is the kind of silly reply when lolberts and magatards get cornered. Indistinguishable from vatniks really.

Why would a party based on “liberty” hate an organization that members freely join on their own volition? The reason is simple. Libertarians don’t even know why they hate NATO. Their publications end up being a sounding board for anything anti government, because they have no ideas themselves besides hating authority. Then lo and behold foreign propaganda takes advantage. And when people invariably step in to control the spread of such garbage, it only confirms the retarded libertarians persecution complex.

Libertarians should listen to themselves some time. “USA bad because drag queens, NATO, foreign interventions, lgbt” it’s literally indistinguishable from vatnik rambling.

I work for a fedex, i handle dozens of packages all clearly containing ammo going to both individuals and gunstores. have a nice day.

          Anonymous

It's worse than you think. Now, Fedex, UPS and USPS all prohibit the shipment of ammo. This is going to tighten store supplies even more.

          Their business, their rules.

Just start your own shipping business goys.
It's that easy. Then you can ship all the ammo you want.

UPS just updated it’s firearm policy. Individuals may no longer ship a firearm.

      >Shipments containing Firearm Products are accepted for transportation only from shippers who are federally licensed and have an approved UPS agreement for the transportation of Firearm Products.

      >UPS accepts packages containing firearms (as defined by Title 18, Chapter 44, and Title 26, Chapter 53 of the United States Code) and firearm parts that do not constitute firearms as defined by federal law (together, “Firearm Products”) for shipment only as a contractual service and only from Shippers who are licensed importers, licensed manufacturers, licensed dealers, or licensed collectors (as defined in Title 18, Chapter 44 of the United States Code) to authorized recipients, as outlined in the approved UPS agreement for the transportation of Firearm Products.

      https://www.ups.com/us/en/support/shipping-support/shipping-special-care-regulated-items/prohibited-items/firearms.page

Use USPS instead to ship firearms to FFLS. Theyre better with not breaking stuff, just take a little longer

Yeah, I work at a UPS hub and we often just throw shit into the trailers at a certain point in the shift. If you want your packages to not be broken when the arrive at their destination, I recommend shipping on Monday when people are the least tired.

My FFL uses USPS to ship handguns too. Just has to fill out a declaration that the post office keeps for records. The only problem is finding an office that will actually accept the package. He had one place tell him they would only accept it if the store name had "Gun Store" in their title, which made no fucking sense.

The regulators can start looking harder on ups' operations, or not. Just depends if ups plays ball. UPS doesn't want OSHA, DOT, etc slowing things down and imposing fines abd new rules. So ups will do as they're told. So long as it costs less than uncle Sam's colonoscopy.

            Anonymous

Lmao you're so full of shit. Ups already has OSHA up it's ass right now due to bad working conditions, has nothing to do with the ATF. DOT inherently has to be involved with the long haul trucking part of UPS shipping, also nothing to do with ATF. When rules get enforced, it's because UPS was breaking them and the teamsters made a big enough stink abt it to get someone to pay attention. It's not just arbitrary imaginary rules that get invented in the spot to fuck with a company.
