Video of Ukrainian crew packing up and hitching a M777 is 80 seconds (according to the video post article on Telegram). This appears to be practice as there’s no evidence the gun was just shooting (also being out in a field). It’s good to see they’re getting better and this should reduce the number of times these guns need to be shipped out for repair.
Looks like it might have been fired at least once due to the amount of dust that was kicked up and how the dirt was on the feet.
Pretty fast but they’re doing a few things that could break the gun.
Pretty good. I wonder why they don’t give Ukraine some M198s though.
They don’t even need to use them in mobile units, just put them near Kharkiv or Mykolaiv and use as point defense
russians still would nuke those static guns into oblivion, as russian doctrine revolves entirely around saturation barrages from heavy artillery they quite literally have more than enough howitzers to cover the entire frontline
ukraines only chance is for everything to be highly mobile and never depend on static emplacements
So this is the famous ISIS American tactics the vatniks were talking about
Nice time!
Somewhat relevant vid comparing Krab to MSTA-S
>Tea boiler
>AC
>Autoloader 6rnds/min
>70kph
>Digital FCS
Got to stay comfy to be highly effective. I hear PzH2000 has a builtin beer keg and Caesar has a baguette maker.
Didn't a British SPG get absolutely nuked by its own tea boiler once?
I don't remember but if they boil dry I can potentially can see it happening if the sensors and protections failed. It's a live heating circuit after all.
lol
I was under the impression that Poland made these.
This video showed me that they in fact just put this together with foreign parts.
Will never into space.
>Vatnik seeing Latin alphabet for the first time
Seethe & dilate
>Will never into space.
shut the frick up you think youre funny youre not youre nothing youre pathetic kurwa frick
even if poland had the industry and technology to into space, poland doesn't have a viable orbital launch site
if poland wants to into space you'll have to go annex mozambique or something
i think kaliningrad would make a decent launch site
>can't launch east, overflying russia
>can't launch west, overflying denmark
>can't launch south, overflying poland
>can't launch north, overflying sweden
a good launch site is an east coast location with a couple thousand miles of sea downrange (Cape Kennedy, Boca Chica, Hainan, Kourou), and failing that the middle of nowhere with a couple thousand miles of nothing downrange (Baikonour, which is inclination limited because they have to avoid overflying China)
Launch sites like Kodiac and Vandenburg are fine for polar orbits (launching directly north or south) and retrograde orbits (which you don't want generally because you're playing in oncoming traffic)
ehehehe
Is the Krab's breech shaped like a toilet so that the crew feels right at home when it needs cleaning?
Samegay
Epic.
Like a F1 wheel change.
the guns are getting maintained in the rear, not repaired due to damage
. . .
We really should have adaptive remotely operated systems for any kind of big gun like this. I'm sure the Ukes would have really loved to strap their ancient anti-tank guns to something like this for improvised indirect fire.
new versions of Archer are using a MAN truck instead of a Volvo hauler so who knows, Ukraine might buy some after the war cause the thing's basically supposed to just shoot, dip and repeat so fast that no radar or counterbattery will realistically hit it
why did they go the extra way of making an automated encasement for the barrel? Better accuracy through more uniform barrel temperature when it's sitting in the sun?
Because GIs are gonna sit on it.
Tiktok army still stay losing doe, doesn’t matter how much UAH you get paid per post
>no evidence the gun was just shooting
Black person what do you think caused all that dust at the start?
>This appears to be practice as there’s no evidence the gun was just shooting
Incorrect. This is the previous video they put five rounds downrange before packing up.

More than 5 actually. There's at least a sixth right as the video starts.
Do they still use this vs mobile artillery just due to cost or are there other factors like mobile artillery being easier to pick up on radar?
Can the M777 be used on a hard surface like asphalt?
