I wonder if they'll remember to paint them
They'll paint them in ERA
As Perun intended.
exercise reforger style ?
They're all nice, and I like #4 a lot, but I think #2 is peak aesthetics for some reason. Just gorgeous and crisp.
oh God, its such a good looking tank in everything except desert tan.
MERDC is an especially sexy camo. And frankly, I like the desert tan too. You're probably just overexposed to it. Give it some time, and you'll probably come back around.

aren't they m1a1 SA?
@sentdefender is a retarded bottomfeeder even among twitter osint dipshits
>osintdefender
I don't trust anything this retard says.
I still can't wrap my head around why they chose to train M2 and M1 crews separately and why Ukies were trained on MBTs like Leopard 2s and Challengers but the training on the Abrams only started this April. It just seems so ill-organized and coordinated.
Tobacco isn't allowed in the US military anymore.
Good. The Russians have shown us how hazardous smoking in a military setting is ever since HIMARs arrived in Ukraine.
>only 31
for fuck's sake just give them more. they need enough replacements in the buffer to feel confident about committing them to offensives and don't mind losing a few.
31 is enough for a battalion sized element with spares. I feel like the choke point here is not how many can be supplied but how many can be supported and how many crews can be trained.
I imagine its like the bradleys, that number seems low but it won't drop due to losses being immediately replaced. Then it only goes up from there.
>losing a few
Don't think they will be used for combat, not this year at least, unless south completely crumbles in the following days and there will be time for operations in the east or south-east before mud season begins, although it began raining already.
Abrams losses? Against vatnik armor? kek
clueless redditor retard
do you think russian tanks are what killed the leopards? tank on tank engagements are maybe 1% of all tank losses in this war
Only tank on tank hits I have seen have been the result of ammo cooking off.
No, but mines, artillery, air strikes etc.
Vatniks are already creating falseflags to screenshot and then epicly own when Abrams is destroyed
They've been doing it for over a year now.
Do you realize how massive the logistics train that has to follow these JET-FUELLED fuckers around is? They're going to have all the same issues other western tech has had and more. It's the same reason they've only been sent 20ish HIMARS when the US could comfortably send like 200: there's an ammo bottleneck for it's missiles.
>8hr run time, uses the same amount of fuel moving or stationary
>massive logistics needed
>huge heat signature from aforementioned jet turbine engine
can't wait for the epic inevitable outcome
>Fixed a decade ago
>Needs the same logistics as a normal tank, just different specialists and supplies due to the different engine.
>Not meaningfully warmer than other tanks.
>Its a turbine engine. Not a jet turbine engine. It does not have fucking jets.
Are you even trying to bait?
The abrams can run basically on any flamable you can pour into it. Diesel, kerosene, gasoline, high octane aircraft fuel. It don't give a fuck.
Also, no, the US isn't sending 200 because the US wants to make sure Russia loses at a leisurely pace; a frog boil. The US endgame is a protracted conflict that sees Russia suddenly waking up to the fact they are shit outta leverage. And that is the point where the US will inform them that they can either give up their nukes and move under China's nuclear umbrella, or spent the next 5 generations paying Ukraine out the wazoo while most of their leadership books a flight to the Hague.

Grade A Copium.
>the same amount of fuel moving or stationary
>muh fuel
ffs, it can run on anything that burns reasonably cleanly and is liquid
It needs a lot of whatever it runs on, especially if it's not jet fuel.
surprisingly, mpg is comparable to other tanks ukraine already fields.
now, idling? yeah, maybe there is something to that, but i still don't see this as a problem.
T-80, Anon.
Ukies used gas-turbine tanks since day one.
ukrainian T-80's use diesel engines
No, they don't.
Only T-80UD is powered by 6TD diesel engine, with build in small (by soviet standards) quantities.
>JET-FUELLED
here we go again
Douglas "UKRAINE LOST" Macgregor talked about the jet engine Abrams when he was in Tucker's podcast. Vatniks and tankies have been spamming about it since then.
So, another grifter? Damn these people are so desperate for attention and gravitate towards rich patrons like bees to honey. Do they dream of one day getting to be friends with Putin or getting into the pocket of some Russian oligarch? It’s fucking sad. Look at how hard whatshisface whores himself out in Russia — and for what?
that gay macgregor has been a butthurt little gay ever since his dumbass recon strike groups didn't get adopted by the army. He's been a zigger shill ever since
The ammo bottleneck for himars rockets turns up around the anal cavities of Vatniks.
The counteroffensive already failed. They don't need more tanks.
That is why they should get hundreds of Leo1’s and Bradley’s rather than many more leo2’s and Abrahms. We should expect to lose a lot of them. And they should feel okay losing them.
This conflict isn't that big. Sure, they fight on multiple fronts, but the actual fights are pretty small. The Kharkov breakthrough was done with like 12 tanks iirc, plus im not sure if Ukraine can support huge tank army, logistic wise.
If there's something they need now it's airforce and smart munitions, shit like Excaliburs and Shadows. HIMARS is already working wonders.
Ehat the fuck is up woth the cope in the replies?
>no, 31 tanks is enough to fight off the country all of NATO has been arming against for the last 70 years!
You've already set up the logistics, you have thousands of these tanks, they were made for this specific task, just send more! Same goes to the rest of the West. This is what Girkin must feel like
>the country all of NATO has been arming against for the last 70 years!
We've since learned the idea of that country was just an illusion anon
Yes and that "illusion" has still been sucking down a vortex of munitions for the past year and a half.
>Queef in 3 days
Was BTFO
But
>Hohols in Moscow in 3 months
Is also retarded and clearly didn't happen.
> The US endgame is a protracted conflict that sees Russia suddenly waking up to the fact they are shit outta leverage.
Idk bro. The US has been losing credibility with much of the Global South whereas Rujja has been building it up with BRICS.
They will just ride into mines anyway
31 was just a token number because Germany kept refusing to send tanks unless the US did it first.
The US knows full well that the Abrams isnt a good fit for Ukraine given the massive fuel requirements (and has said as such), its all politics.
>isnt a good fit
Yeah well, super old Leo1 are also not a good fit, but that's all europe is still willing to spare now.
Leo1 is actually not that bad given the cold war era tanks that Russia is pulling out of storage these days. Also its devolved into trench warfare and 105mm HE is still useful there.
It's not tank vs tank though, it's tank vs everything else. An Abrams can deal much better with RPGs, shrapnel, drones, etc. etc. Leo1 may be decent from safe positions at long range, but that's what artillery is for. They don't have the same usefulness in an armored offensive.
The Abrams was made to fight the Soviets coming through the Fulda Gap i.e Eastern Europe. This is literally what it's made for.
>31
the US greenlighting MBTs fr Ukraine was politically significant but a handful like this is not going to have any real impact.
Doesn't the US have 1000s of M1s in reserve?
Yeah, my guess is Biden is mostly motivated by internal politics by witholding them. Otherwise Cuckner would have even more munition with muh gazillions going to Ukraine and Hunter's cock.
>No one is above the law!!!!
>I never voted for Hunter Biden! Who cares if he's above the law?
Liberals should be deported to Alaska.
Why ruin a neat state? Send those fuckers to Puerto Rico, it's a shithole already.
Problem there is that they’ll then vote for stateship, giving Dems 52-50 advantage in the senate.
Shit, good point.
Alright then, we'll put it to a poll. It'll be a choice between Alaska, the West Coast, and the Northeast. Those who feel these people would ruin their regions will be permitted to vote, and whoever has the least opposition to taking one for the team becomes the designated lefty containment zone.
Pretty sure they all have depleted Uranium armor in them. Exporting that stuff has been a firm no, with no signs of that changing.
US bans export of M1s with the GI-spec double secret armor, and they don't keep ready stocks of monkey model tanks in storage. When they announced the Ukraine aid they first had to finish building tanks for Taiwan and then start making new ones for Ukraine.
the M1s going to Ukraine are not new-builds, but refurbished. This is what allowed them to expedite the delivery to September of this year
That secret armor is only useful because when an American crewed tank gets hit the crew will survive in a relatively safe place with support and the tank can be recovered. In Ukraine if it gets hit it's going to get hit again and again
Ukraine just doesn't have the Force to win and can only keep Russia losing so long as it's Western life support is on
>Ukraine just doesn't have the Force to win and can only keep Russia losing so long as it's Western life support is on
Not something to joke about. Have you seen people on life support, hooked up to machines and a oxygen mask just waiting to die. It's fucking horrible, I mean those are people on there.
I'm surprised we don't have a fuck load of M60s we can't get the Israelis or whoever to refit cheaply and ship to them to use. If they're just going to drive over mines and dual with T54s, fuck it an M60 and some Brads should work.
Did you miss how Israel is secretly siding with Russia? Their far right government just cut medical assistance to Ukranian refugees in Israel recently.
>M60s
All gone, except the ones in tank museums. Either sold off or used in penetration tests, etc.
YOU BETTER PAINT THEM IN WOODLAND YOU FUCKS
Uke Pixel or nothing. Remember: it's not a fifty tonne tank with a flag, it's a fifty tonne flag stuck to a tank.
can't wait for them to hang out with the challys at the rear
Thread theme
What will the next use of western heavy armor look like, anyway? They tried zerg rushing Leopards into a minefield for some goddamn reason, and then since then the only tank movements I've seen have been with local models. Are they only allowed to use NATO tanks with NATO tactics that might be a little half-baked for the current situation on the ground? Are they saving them for when a big push can be made more safely?
NATO countries forgot how to fight these kind of wars, and have a patronizing attitude towards Ukraine. They taught them to use their tactics, it failed the part about SEAD and taking out artillery. They just rushed to the tank rush.
The east around Bakhmut is where they use old Russian gear and they do advances. Elsewhere they use a lot of Bradleys. IFV’s Leo1’s and such are more needed than heavy mbt.
>"guy don't drive the tanks into a minefield"
>"stupid westerners don't know how to fight a REAL war"
>drive tanks into a minefield
>"help we need more tanks"
>"okay but don't drive the tanks into a minefield"
>"stupid westerners don't know how to fight a REAL war..."
yup tell me where in western doctrine is driving blithely into minefields a thing. fucking spastic ukraine fans. they even fired the mine laying cables in the wrong direction in the first week
that's not what happened
a UK mine clearance vehicle failed slightly and it resulted in a shitshow.
After this, to show they tried and it didnt work, they moved into smaller scale actions and infantry demining
indirect fire weapons
Word on the street is Leopards are fighting at range now, leveraging their superior range and optics. Thats apparently why we don't see them in videos anymore.
The western tanks will move in close next time the ukies go fast, whenever that ends up being
It wasn't exactly a zerg rush, they were trying to make a breech using the most capable assets they had, but were lacking the required engineering assets and enough firepower to effectively suppress the Russians. They're using Soviet tanks now because it's back to grinding through the frontlines and they're much more expendable.
That breach succeeded tho, the Ukrainians did take that territory, they went past that territory etc
it was the heavily mined first line of contact, ofcourse there will be massive losses, especially in a massed assault.
They needed to shake up enemy artillery to start counterbattery, since neither side has air superiority this whole frontline is a slow grinding artillery war, whoever can use smart ammunitions and artillery in the most efficient way to deplete the enemies stockpile and artillery pieces gains and advantage to advance a few clicks.
Just wait, we will soon see another big armoured push on a major Russian position before autumn begins, then the fronts will freeze again with limited raids and engagements until the new Ukrainain air force is operational.
One thing we could witness during this war is that the Ukrainians value their troops and equipment and they do not squander it, they are very careful and methological in their approaches. Just look a thr Kherson offensive, it was a grind until Russian supplies ran out, then they pushed the whole system in.
It's only a dozen or so miles and the highway/rail to Crimea is in comfortable arty range. They take enough Surovikin Line and dislodging them in the Winter will be a pain in the Zigger dick.
waiting for the F18s and JAS 39s to show up .ie never
I hate to be the one saying this but...
These are not "muh monke models" right? Are 100% Abrams? I mean, some parts of the Abrams armor is still classified, Russians will love to capture one.
Those have steel armor instead of depleted uranium armor
Still composite, just not the super secret composite
It's not really monke model beyond armor tbh. I'm not sure if they've specifically said what type of Abrams it will be, if it's got a CITV it's probably an SA with the DU removed and replaced with the FMS armor package. If they get HC/HA then same deal with DU but the electronics will be very old and no CITV. Basic bitch M1A1s won't need the DU removed cause they don't have it in the first place but the armor array is old school Burlington which the early iterations of are available online now. Thye wouldn't send anything equipped with HAP-1 to 3 or NGAP.
About damn time
Why do you anons think that sending few tanks with no air support will change anything? Even if they send like a 200 of them it won't matter. That shit worked in middle east only because US had a 100% air superiority.
F16’s, Bradley’s and Leo1’s will have more direct impact. They are going to have ifv’s and Alf’s get damaged at a consistent date and need replacements. F-16’s will slowly tip air power more to Ukraine by hitting air defences, artillery, helis, etc. nowhere near USA style sead though. They will just fire missiles and return to base.
>Leo1’s will have more direct impact
L1s are worse and fewer than the polack tanks which made fuck all qualitative difference, just plugged the hole. Stroking these shitheaps for all those months while they fail to materialize is farcical.
>Why do you anons think that sending few tanks with no air support will change anything?
31 more modern tank is 31 more modern tank
>Even if they send like a 200 of them it won't matter
200 Bradley seem to be enough to buckbrake Russian first line of defense
Ukraine hasn't made a single breakthrough, and that won't change without air superiority.
This anon is right.
The Abrams are not useless, by any means. The Ukes are suffering armor losses, and they're gonna need replacements. But what they really need is fire support, that is air and artillery, and shitloads of it. As with every Democratic administration that's gone to war since Kennedy, the Biden administration's gradualist approach is producing a situation in which we supply the Ukes enough to not lose, but not enough to win.
McNamara should've stuck to building cars.
>As with every Democratic administration that's gone to war since Kennedy, the Biden administration's gradualist approach is producing a situation in which we supply the Ukes enough to not lose, but not enough to win.
I wasn't aware the US was at war in Ukraine, and Clinton's intervention in Kosovo was a success.
We're invested in their victory, or at least I was under that impression. Yet we won't give them enough of what they need to actually get the job done, curious.
Now let us consider the success rates of gradualist wars.
>Vietnam
Failure
>Somalia
Failure
>Haiti
Success? It's hard to measure success in a place like Haiti. But it certainly went better than Somalia, so we'll give Clinton that one.
>Bosnia
Success? The approach there was schizophrenic, alternating between helping Serbs and helping Bosnians, so it's hard to measure.
>Kosovo
Success
>Libya
Lol, lmao
So that brings me to a tally of 2 successes, 3 failures, and one indeterminate result. Any I miss?
The west is not investing in a fast end of this war, sadly for the Ukrainians, we are taking advantage of the geopolitical environment to slowly grind down the Russian state.
The Ukies have to submit to this, I just hope all of this won’t leave a sour taste in their mouth, I really liked all the Ukrainians I talked to, solid, rural lads with a modern mindset, even though their pop culture is lagging like 10 years behind.
compared to the alternative of not giving them shit and forcing them to fight with their own tools, its definitely better
Yeah but it comes at the cost of their lifes and their freedom and in my little opinion it’s morally wrong, we should give everything we can give to support this European country that wants to join our community against an imperialistic invader threatening its soverignity and the borders defined by multilateral international law.
Abrams, Bradley, F-16, hell even F-35 and apache training should have started last year when they stalled the offensive on their own.
Turns out western governments don't care too much for the lives of people that are not their citizens (and even then..)
Turns out most of them are also cowardly, stingy and have no strategic vision. Disgraceful really, but what can you do.
>ven though their pop culture is lagging like 10 years behind.
Just like me!
The West is full of retarded boomers who want to preserve Russia as the last remnant of something familiar in this world, or stupid greedy idiots who are only interested in their own pockets and do not fully understand the consequences of their actions.
The west is invested in having Ukraine as an independent state, but definitely not in their victory.
why does every concern troll sound exactly like that Russian propaganda leafleft?
Sending 60 tanks 15 months into the invasion and 30 more 18 months in, considering that Ukraine lost over 600 didn't seem like pushing for victory to me.
The West wouldn't mind Ukraine not toppling the Kremlin regime either. It's almost like they don't care.
>The West wouldn't mind Ukraine not toppling the Kremlin regime either.
Frankly I don't think anyone outside of eastern europe wants to see the russian regime toppled, because it's totally unclear what happens with the nukes afterwards. NATO planners are probably wringing their hands wondering how to end this war in a way that approximates the status quo. Some now almost worthless ukrainian territory is a price they would certainly be willing to pay, even if they publically claim otherwise.
I'm pretty sure the West wouldn't mind Ukraine toppling the Kremlin regime. It would be one of the biggest No U's in history.
I came in here expecting to see the perpetuated myth of overly exaggerated fuel consumption along with the jet fuel and was not disappointed.
>People ITT bitching for Woodland paint like the Ukies haven't been repainting all the ODS Brads they've gotten
>Me, imagining Woodland(Winterised) M1s in the Crimea
>tfw Woodland M1 rolling over a mobik
Everyone get ready to have dead M1s paraded around PrepHole literally non-stop.
Its just a tank. I am so fucking sick of these kids sucking tank dick when the war is just arty, drone and mines.
How many books are there about mines? 1? 2? That is all.
Tanks? 1 a week being written? 2 written per week?
Tanks mean dick
>when the war is just arty, drone and mines.
Try to advance anywhere with only arty, drones and mines
That's what ukrainians are doing right now.
Last time I've checked it's Bradley who rolls up to a trench and clears rats hiding inside, not mines, drones or artillery
I'm saying that your tank bullshit is low priority when those 3 rule the battlefield
Not that you eliminate it from your own army
how long until its admitted that russian vehicles are just better?? its obvious from the results
Better at dying or killing its whole crew? I think they excel at both
Wow, I am very concern. I am very demoralise. Here in Texas oblast I believe that we should not be send the billion of dollars CASH to Hunter Biden to sell to Zelensky who sell that CASH to direct to Russian forces. We should use that CASH to build wall fellow Americanski.
God knows we will witness some absurd shit like an M1A1 fighting some T10Ms and T55s the way things are going.
Sounds like an average war thunder match alright, is the M1s team full with LEO1, perchance?
…is the map Kursk?
…is there one single KA-52 spawnsniping?
I genuinely cannot tell if this thread is full of trolls or it's an actual reflection of how far down the toilet this board has gone
It's literally a 4chan discord raid I think.
AI bots, no fucking joke. There are literal bot responses being seeded all over PrepHole for public opinion shaping. Not just PrepHole but many boards on many sites. Its fucking disgusting and the orchestrators should be publicly tried in a court of law and executed.
Part shill raid, part AI spam shitting the board up and part contrarian schizos. I've noticed enough times in different threads to notice either no replies at all to something that probably exceeds complexity for whatever chat AI models they use or outright get shit, irrelevant, completely off, random bot like replies (and random chud responses, "mutt" related crap, "nogunz euro" etc). Also probably some Reddit refugees are a part of it too given how some of the posting resembles borderline /leftypol/ posting without actually being tankie enough.
For contrast I actually have two or more way conversations on /uhg/ even when it gets shit up by /chug/gers and general spam, take that as a data point seeing PrepHole seems to have more shitty pro vatnig posts presently in the past few months.
Is it me, or is every poster who unironically says "psy ops" a fucking retard?
Prove you are not a bot trained to respond to key words.
Your first test will be to create a reasonable link to the prior conversations in this thread without context of direct linking. Random strings will indicate a non human actor.
Also, there is a strong chance the individual you are also interacting with is a bot, designed to create and draw attention, wearing down the readers and potential posters, leading to demoralization.
this is laid out for any lurkers, not current participants, so they can be inoculated against this gayry.
I don't care about your key words or your reasonable links, I think you're a humongous fucking gay who should commit rope at earliest opportunity. Stick that keyword in your ass and lose it.
BEEP BOOP. I AM BOT PROGRAM TO FIND RETARDS. SCANNING...
Maybe you should go back to 4chan then, where you can """discuss""" how awesome Russia is and how the Ukies are losing despite continuously taking ground with all the other bad faith gays and retards.

WTF is up with this kiddy numbers? Why 31? It should be more like 300
they are all new build monkey models.
pentagon didnt want its armor tech falling into russian and moron hands.
so they made new ones without chobham armor.
yes.
it is sad.
sad really, it will hurt the abrams reputation with the shitty export armor
Its explicitly to protect the Abrahams reputation because when they get blown up they can now say “see, they had no chobham, thats why!”
>chobham
retard detected
current FMS export armor is far superior to the original chobham installed in the late 1970s
Doesnt change my point
Abrams hasn't used chobham for decades. Chobham isn't even what the armor was actually called
Did they at least give them depleted uranium armor?
It has composite armor. The difference is that it isn't the DU stuff the US uses.
>the Russian cries out in pain as he hits you
If only there were some way for the Russian Federation to move its soldiers out of harm's way, like by just leaving Ukraine or something and withdrawing to their own internationally recognized borders.
>Verification not required.
They wont ever see the frontlines
Just like the Challenger
And another thing. WHY do we INSIST on giving the Ukies our old shit? Maybe not the most ancient mothballed junkers but stuff WAY below our current standard? Why aren’t we giving them tanks with the gun station, advanced thermals, DU inserts, etc? It’s like we’re begging Russia to plug the tanks with ATGMs. Tank battles are rare but these base-armor Abrams I’m not sure can stop the latest 125mm APFSDS rounds — in fact the 3BM44M is marketed to defeat Abrams. Why are we acting like this?
Because capacity produce them in large numbers is low and we will need the current reserves if China gets uppity
>base armor
are you one of those retards who thinks the export abrams armor is just RHA?
Yes, he is.
>most ancient mothballed junkers but stuff WAY below our current standard?
Because Russia's fielding even worse and it's functionally free inventory that doesn't have to get paid to be scrapped.
>And another thing. WHY do we INSIST on giving the Ukies our old shit?
it's to sell them new shit in the future and to set up in ukraine as marshall plan 2. global hegemony etc
I hate we're going to see these beautiful babies get toasted but I guess it's better than rusting away in a field of it means Russians die.
The life of an Abrams is not worth the life of even a hundred Russians
what's the point in fighting so half-heartedly? might as well not bother.
SAR do not redeem the NAFO!
I actually find such a horrible dissonance when it comes to human losses, BRICS excel at making their own people die for "noble causes", with Russia beimg the most egregious example.
It's actually horrifying when you think about it, Russia always had the potential to become a western nation but they have screwed themselves over and over during the entirety of the modern age, it's like they are cursed.
India is fighting Hunter Biden's dickpics to the last Russian.
Did the Taliban manage to capture any Abrams?
We didn't leave any Abrams behind in Afghanistan dumbass

>Abrams
>wunderwaffen
It was designed in the 70s anon, it's not wunderwaffen to anyone but turdies.
Abrams is absolutely a wunderwaffen to the T-55s Russia is fielding right now.
Nobody in the west considers these wunderwaffe, they're just old machines of war to us. It's only street shitters and ziggers that think this and that's because their own equipment is shid and piss
Crenshaw is a fucking idiot, but he’s not wrong.
I'll believe it when I see it.
>It's the one without the uranium armour
Will be common indeed.
>Good mornign sars
So I'm assuming the Ukies are making more progress in the south? You folks always screech loudest when you're on the eve of yet another disaster.
Personally I'm looking forward to the turdworlders crowing every time they manage to mobility kill a downgraded 40yr old tank with zero sense of self awareness.
>Look how weeeeak America is, after 40yrs of catching up we can finally damage their 3gen old wunderwaffle!
Like lol, lmao even
Jesus, you know they're scared when they're chimping out this hard over 30 year old tanks.
It's just the cycle of nature reasserting itself through judicious management of the ecology.
When one species runs unchecked in an environment, it disrupts the balance of the natural world. For example, the recent spike in the T-72 population has caused ecological devastation in regions of Ukraine. The T-72s -- many of them suffering from Chronic Rusting Disease -- litter the landscape with popped turrets and ammo cookoffs, and bring an influx of other pests like the parasitical vatniks.
Releasing just 31 M1 Abrams into Zaporozhzhia will help to ease pressure on the ecology as the M1 predators feast on their natural prey and cull the unfit, just like we saw in the Persian Gulf when there was an outbreak of T-72s in the 1990s and 2000s.
Sensible wildlife management helps to guarantee a better, cleaner landscape. Not just for us, but for future generations as well.
As opposed to Russian values of homosexual rape, kidnapping and murdering children, AIDS, refugees and food riots.

Ukraine did not need air superiority to destroy the Russian ground forces and 1/5th of its airforce and 1/3rd of its helicopters
Yeah but they need to reclaim their land somehow. Both sides are stuck at this point.

Goodbye Mobik
>Can't wait for the cope when videos of dozens of American tanks are destroyed in a matter of minutes by a single Russian tank.
But why would the Russian tank be used to destroy those videos, Anon? Are they that useless against actual American MBTs?
