Ukraine captures a T-90M

How feasible is this to repair? The engine is destroyed and it has some damage on the outside.

Can you image the Skunkworks, SCP Foundation DARPA site the Department of Defense runs to dissect enemy tech? Probably guys walking around in space suites, clean room with molecular particle alarms, robotic microscopes, three stage airlock etc etc. Painstakingly disassembling and cataloging each bolt and solder joint. Just to find an entirely unimpressive Soviet-grade quality heavy industrial output product which may as well come out of the 80s.

    Did Russia stop abandoneering vehicles?

We don't hear Ukraine getting free stuff from Russia anymore. Does Ukraine not want slavshit since they have Bradleys now?

Light infantry assaults that take as much as several centimeters of ground do lead to fewer captures than disorganized retreats over tens or hundreds of kilometers, yes.

Given how much of the original T-72 was made in Ukraine I imagine they can fix it pretty easy.

The frick? It was left alone for 8 fricking months and they didn't try to scuttle it? Did no one from the assault tell them they left behind a relatively intact hull so they can prevent it from being captured?

This is a huge loss for Ukraine! After 8 months alone in nature the tank has most definitely returned to the wild and won't be easily tamed by the next crew.
