Spartan is from the CRV programme, it could traverse Falkland peat fine with a turret on top, it would probably be an excellent APC for Ukrainian snow. I think the Royals used it in Iceland.

Some Russian opposition figures have started saying that after the war Russia must start paying for the reconstruction of Ukraine in return for a quicker end to sanctions. Vatniks are livid.

Actually russia would lose this money one way or another
          >Win war:
Now ukraine is in ruins, west abandons it entirely so you need to rebuild an entire country you destroyed with your own money since the sanctions will still remain
          >Lose war:
Now you are forced to spend money to rebuild or sanctions will still say
Either way they lose. But if they lose the war they would actually have chance to make up for it

Russia obviously cannot afford this and if they tried, any and all poverty would be blamed on it (correctly or otherwise) leading to turbonazis in Russia
Look how much the Krauts chimped about Versailles reparations even though they basically paid none of them due to it all being funded by American loans.

            Anonymous

Friendly countries to Ukraine can set the reparations at whatever amount they want. Just have it come out of a special duty on Russian imports. E.g. Russia can start exporting energy and resources to the West again, and on arrival x-percent will be charged on the import and remitted to Ukraine for reconstruction. Seems like the obvious way to do it.

Killing russians lightens the soul because it is a twofold virtue.

Not only do you save people in the future from having to deal with a russian, you also save a russian from existence within russia. Then he can be hopefully reincarnated into a more fulfilling and worthwhile creature such as a wienerroach or sewer rat.

            Anonymous

So the head of the Charity fund that bought those CVRs confirmed that although all vehicles are being demilitarized UK MoD will provide combat modules for some of them. So Ukraine could get approximately eight more Stormers

Usually that means adding GPMGs, grenade dischargers and sights
There are civvy Starstreak launchers the MOD can buy up, see pic, but they need to be recommissioned and that may be more difficult than it sounds especially with regards to the electronics tying in the vehicle to the Ukrainian IADS

Canada, Norway and Spain, 26 Leo 2A4s
            Portugal, 3 Leo 2A6s
            Sweden, 10 Strv 122s (Leo 2s)
            USA, 31 Abrams

Germany has released the 88 Leo 1A5s Rheinmetall offered and may send more
            Denmark another 20 Leo 1s
Belgium is checking its Leo 1 inventory

Many of these tanks need to be refurbished (especially the Leo 1s) and prepared so the delivery will take years to complete

Wiesel is a weapons carrier, it doesn't do anything that a Toyota or Ukrainian "battle buggy" doesn't do, adds an unnecessary specialist logistical burden, and doesn't justify its price

The raison d'etre for the Wiesel is that it fits in the back of a chopper, that's about it

              >I wonder if it will fit in a chinook still
It's designed to fit in the back of a Super Stallion, the German Army's heavy-lift chopper

Wiesels are useful to the German Army because you can't fit a bulletproof tracked Toyota in the back of a chopper for when you conduct vertical envelopment or drop off special forces

The problem is that Ukraine isn't doing any of that, so for their specific circumstances, Wiesel is useless. It's like selling them B-1B bombers, what would be the point?

They bought them off the MoD's civilian market where they were basically sat there for anyone to buy for bargain bin prices, after being given a ton previously for literally nothing. They got them cheaper than most modern cheap cars and UK was just like yeah ok why not.
Civilians have bought them here to run around the town with them, they're pretty fun. the F107 is my favourite looking light "tank" (Scout vehicle).

They're so cheap becausue they're basically two car engines strapped onto a track and armoured box.

    >In November 2022, the Serhiy Prytula Foundation began collecting UAH 200 million for the purchase of 50 FV103 Spartan armored personnel carriers for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.[20] According to the results of the collection, 60 FV103 Spartans were bought at a price of UAH 3.33 million per unit.[21]

    >At the beginning of March, the Serhiy Prytula Foundation specified that a total of 236 million hryvnias had been collected, for which 101 units of armored vehicles of 8 models were "contracted": FV103 Spartan, FV104 Samaritan, FV105 Sultan, Stormer, Shielder, FV432 Bulldog, FV434, FV106 Samson. I'm assuming there were more expensive or modernised variants included in the larger amount then, goddamn.
I'm still pissed it seems so hard to export.

They arent. Ukrainians are moronic subhumans so its only natural they would buy a sub par vehicle for their subhuman forces.

Is there anywhere compiling Ukrainian reviews and feedback with Western equipment? I wouldn't mind reading some, or even better, comparisons between various types of western equipment by Ukrainians.

It's hard enough getting Ukrainian reviews never mind comparative reviews

well, everyone knows St Javelin and St NLAW

Stinger was praised for its range, ergonomics and reliability versus the Igla (I will never forget the Uke commenting on the hiss of escaping air when breaking the seal of a Stinger box)

Martlet for a while was the premiere drone-killer, and the Stormer-mounted version Starstreak was praised for its networkability and multi-role capabilities, providing SAM overwatch for key UA formations

I have not heard any comment of Pzf3 or Matador which was also supplied in quantity, they should compare favourably against RPGs, M72s, and RPOs

Volenteer fundraisers decided to buy them for Ukraine off of the Bong MoD's surplus bin and aftermarket, and they're perfect for Ukraine, considering the extremely low ground pressure caused by rather large treads on an extremely lightweight vehicle.
Ukraine had already been gifted a large number of them for free which is why the fundraisers wanted to buy more, and they got more than they expected since the UK effectively gave them the rest after the purchase, because the fundraisers were doing for Ukraine.
The money given was probably used to help train more Ukies.

But anyway, why are you a Black person?

Fun fact: around the time of fundraising for 100 spartans, Poroshenko went to London and bought 50 of them with big discount trough his connections. Zelebots attacked him for "sniping" the deal, instead of being happy that army will get the same amount of AFVs and will keep half of gathered money for the next big purchase on top of it.

CRV vehicles are very good and loved by the crews.
CRV are the fastest tracked vehicles on earth in service with a military.
The Scimitar2 is particularly very good.

So the head of the Charity fund that bought those CVRs confirmed that although all vehicles are being demilitarized UK MoD will provide combat modules for some of them. So Ukraine could get approximately eight more Stormers

After maintenance in Great Britain, as of the beginning of March, the first batch of 24 machines has already arrived in Ukraine[22].
