"APMИЯ POCCИИ" or "army of Russia" is a luxury brand founded by Shoigu in an attempt to rebrand Russian military as a hip and cool. They make all kinds of stuff like fashion clothes and sport wear, including womens yoga pants. It's a really bizarre phenomena.

There was a case of a famous (in Russia) rapper partnering with Shoigu to create new military uniform prior to special monke chimpout. So it wouldn't surprise me.
The uniform in question was slop from AliExpress.
Oh and for context this rapper is also a businessman of sorts and it's not the first time he was guilty of that. These headphones were AliExpress slop as well, just sold for a higher price and with his brand's logo.

A good made in USA Kershaw or Gerber. If it needs to be a smaller folder, get Kershaw to start making the Skyline again and issue that. For bigger fixed knives, a Gerber LMF II or a Ka-bar are good choice. If you're a piss poor turdie army, use some Buck folding knives. That the Russians are using pot metal $5 ching Chong folding knives says a lot.

Victorinox is a great brand, but there are a couple of things about it that I do not like:
            1) The can opener sucks. it is unintuitive. Leatherman/wenger style can openers are superior, but Victorinox has a patent on that one or something, so they stubbornly keep it.
            2) The Scissors suck. The Leatherman/wenger-style scissors are superior. I guess Victorinox just has their factories tooled to that one model, so they keep using it.

Don't get me wrong, victorinox stuff is perfectly useable. But it could be improved by switching the models of certain tools to more effective/intuitive versions. They don't even have any good reason not to do so, because they bought Wenger which has factories ready making that stuff.

victorinox style scisors with spring are best of oany multitools, also can opener is classic design so it must be good. And im telling that as a fanboy of leatherman surge

Spyderco Delica or Endura. Simple, lightweight, strong lock, relatively low cost, and while they're made in Japan it's by a US company with domestic manufacturing facilities where they could easily spool up stateside production if they had a military-sized order. Alternatively the Para 2 or 3 but they're a lot more expensive.

well yeah as the vatnig union was a continuation of the vatnig empire with a red paint job? or are westerners still in the phase of coping how things were magically much different 40 years ago, there was no mass russification or colonization programs and the occupied slave states were totally treated as equals since they had the SSR plastered at the end of it

they were just trying to create a new, better world after all! As enlightened western pinkos can confidently confess.

Eastern Block countries only had so much freedom and knew that if they stepped out of line the Red Army would come marching in. They had some degree of independence, but not much, and all their foreign policy was controlled by the Kremlin. USSR was just Russian imperialism writ large.

It's the idea that the police are the thin blue line between society and chaos but they really mean, the thin blue line between them and morons.

Since police are literally the state means of treading, combined with the Gadsen then effective meaning is: Don't tread on me, tread on them.
What the people thinking that never realise is that they're "them" to the people in charge because poor white trash are just trash to the rich white elites that the police really serve.

It takes one bad police officer to ruin the perception of every police officer for everyone that hears of his misdemeanor. They are all wearing the same uniform and represent the same values. As a simple citizen you can't know if the officer you are seeing/interacting with is a reasonable man or a complete asshole that will fuck you over because he can without fearing consequences.

That most police forces have a strong esprit de corps and rather protect the assholes than clean up their act leads to the "good ones" ultimately leaving the service and only those that are just assholes, abuse their power or are straight up corrupt will be left over.

There were definitely people who believed in the communist ideology. Stalin believed in it. It's just that people's beliefs can also rearrange themselves as a result of cope.

Russia has always been expansionist. Was for a long time before the Russian Empire collapsed. The communist superpower that was created on its ashes, however, was expansionist for a good reason. I mean in its own self-regard. They wanted to make the world a better place! Eventually more countries would also become communist and thus enlightened, scientific and rational and free of all forms of exploitation and oppression as we march off into the Star Trek future together; and they set up an international organization called the Comintern in pursuit of these aims. This form of expansionism was global in scope.

Problem was, this was a myth, and by 1943, Stalin shut the Comintern down under pressure from the Western allies. The USSR propaganda in the 60s and 70s then rearranged itself somewhat, with a big part being about how American imperialism was preventing the rest of the world from advancing towards communism. Capitalism was still held to be doomed due to its own internal contradictions though, with the U.S. becoming more reactionary and fascistic, and the main forces deemed to be fighting against it were a triumvirate of socialist countries (centered on the USSR), the world communist movement, and the anti-colonial movement.

The reality though is that capitalism never collapsed but continued developing, improving even adopting (selectively) some social policies. The USSR collapsed under its own contradictions, and it was also playing a similar game to the U.S. during the Cold War anyways, forming a geopolitical bloc, which was keeping the Western bloc in check as they kept the Soviets in check. The Soviet empire instantly disintegrated, the USSR itself lost half its population, and the Russians developed a really bad hangover that leads to the new ideology...

...which is more eclectic. It's a mix of Eurasianism, the "Russian world" and aggressive anti-Americanism, opposition to the "unipolar" and "Anglo-Saxon" world and the "decaying" and "degenerate" West as a whole instead of capitalism per se (since Russia is no longer anti-capitalist) combined with nostalgia for the USSR as a great superpower *and* a longing for traditional values, "deep people" and the Orthodox faith, which is a conservative glue to connect dissimilar things together. There are also some similarities to Nicholas I's advisor Sergey Uvarov whose theory stated it was necessary to reject western ideas (freedom of thought, individualism, and rationalism) and to support the Orthodox religion.

Russia in this schema is supposed to be the leader of a new anti-colonial revolution too, and the leader of a great world anti-American revolution which cobbles together an alliance of former colonial and oppressed peoples of the countries of Asia, Africa and Latin America. This has numerous problems that I won't go into, but overall it feels to me like Russia is a hostage of its own past and is reacting to the loss of prestige in status, kinda like the British and French after WWII but in a much more destructive and schizo way.

Literal diagnosed retard here, can you use that drone gun against russian drones? It just jams everything in line of fire, right? It's not like there are different frequencies and "ally-enemy" distinction like in AA systems?

      Anonymous

Short answer, yeah probably. Longer answer, it really depends on the design. I'm sure you could incorporate a form of IFF so that you can't fire on a friendly drone but realistically that's probably just too much work because then the jammer would need to be able to interrogate a drone. You would be better off just using something like retarded proprietary parts which the enemy would struggle to use. For example, I'm assuming the power source is just a big battery so if you make it retarded enough that your enemy can't recharge and reuse it without a lot of jury rigging then it's just a one time use jammer to them and isn't really worth the weight of carrying around for ages to possibly use once then toss in a ditch. That's just speculation though.

      wrong

It just jams the most common frequency bands like 2.4GHz, 5.8GHz, 900MHz, 400Mhz and so on

That's with regular levels of HIV, when it comes to high viral loads:
          >We also know that for every 10-fold increase in viral load, the risk of HIV transmission increases by 2 to 3 times.9,10 Research suggests the extremely high viral load during acute HIV infection (the first few weeks after becoming infected with HIV) can increase the risk of HIV transmission by up to 26-fold.11,12 Therefore, unprotected sex with an HIV-positive person who has acute HIV infection could carry a transmission risk of up to 2% (the equivalent of 1 transmission per 50 exposures) for receptive vaginal sex and over 20% (equivalent to 1 transmission per 5 exposures) for receptive anal sex.

Meanwhile the rural radio hosts refused to get vaccinated or isolate or wear masks and like 5% of them died.

            >We just test more people
That part is objectively true though.
Russian Federation performs by far the most extensive testing among all European countries. HIV tests are part of the standard set of analyses performed before any serious medical procedure, even basic shit like wisdom teeth removal.
            https://www.ecdc.europa.eu/sites/default/files/documents/2022-Annual_HIV_Report_final.pdf

Whether the part about undiagnosed people in other countries is true is up to personal belief, since, well, there's no conclusive data on topic at all.
But it's very likely that neighbors like Ukraine (8 times less tests, 2 times less confirmed cases) or Latvia (5.5 times less tests, 3 times less cases) have more infected than Russia, and nobody even knows what the fuck is happening in Yugo countries with 100 times less tests.

Sounds like a reaction, not a cause. Since it's known that the infection rate is high the medical personnel wants to know how high the risk for themselves is and if there should be some special precautions be taken (e.g. garbage disposal).

West isn’t ashamed by what two mature males do in the bedroom. In USSR you have to constantly prove you are manly hetero.

In all reality, sascha hatefucks twinks, and when he doesn’t strangle them afterwards he still brings back home the AIDS to his pregnant wife and unborn child, which he then also strangles eventually. And then he drinks himself to death.

        >Russia is primarily Herero men
Every country has basically the same percentage of homosexuality. What differs is how open it is and how much a straight-ish guy might feel comfortable experimenting if given an invitation or opportunity to do so.

        >“They, especially the great boyars and nobles, engage in more debauchery, sodomy, men with men, and not even secretly but often in front of many people, considering it an honor and doing it without reserve and publicly.” (Translated from the Russian translation of Petreius’ work.)
        >In 1551, the Italian historian Paolo Giovio published a series of books in which he described the mores of the Muscovy during the time of Tsar Vasily III, citing Russian ambassadors and merchants:
        >«In the manner of the Greeks, Muscovite customs permit to love young men, for the noblest of them and all the ranks of chivalry are in the habit of accepting the children of honorable citizens in their service and instructing them in the art of war.”
They're a lot more on the bisexual side of the scale than heterosexual men. They just weren't in denial about it until Stalin came to power. Mobniks just experience a lot of highly closeted repression and gulag rape culture condensed into modern day Russia.

          >The new Article 121, which punished muzhelozhstvo with imprisonment for up to 5 years, was followed by raids and arrests at the height of the Stalinist terror. The numbers of men arrested are not known, but by the 1980s there were about 1000 every year. The Soviet Union had the largest population of incarcerated men in the world, and given the importance of prison culture for Soviet culture as a whole, it is likely that prison homosexuality played a part in forming Soviet gay culture. In Soviet prisons there was a class of men called opushchennye (degraded) who were required to fulfill the sexual needs of the rest. On the one hand, they were at the lowest rung of the social ladder, but they were sometimes protected by their lovers. And not only men charged with Article 121 were opushchennye: any prisoner could be degraded by ritualized rape -- for losing at cards, over an insult, or even because his beauty made him an attractive sex object.
          >Present day mobniks are experiencing cumulative societal effects of Russia being pretty gay throughout history combined with lots of repressiveness and gulag culture.

Russia and Ukraine have beautiful women that you see on TV and in porn because of exactly that. They're considered pretty enough to be seen. What you don't see is the women who are nearly babushka looking ones that are all over the place. This is the same as any other country, the pretty attractive women get a lot of attention especially in media. In the West obviously political correctness and those who abuse it try to force themselves into the top. It doesn't mean Russia isn't any less of anal rape central. They're like the ancient Greeks when it comes to homosexuality with a twist: They fuck other men for power/pleasure but they still fuck women and produce offspring. Prison sexuality if you will.

Also they're fucking twinks and boys so in Sergei's fucked up head he probably thinks it is comparable to fucking a woman in some way. Historical Russia was incredibly gay.
      >Many of these cruising sites were near public conveniences that offered opportunities for prostitutes to display their attributes to potential clients. Men selling sex exploited the masculine aura provided by their student, civil, or military uniforms (Imperial Russia was a society replete with uniforms for all kinds of occupations). There was even a slang term for the manly homosexual who preferred such butch men: "woman-hater" (zhenonenavistnik).
      >The bathhouses of Russia's cities were another important site in the homosexual world. In comparison to earlier eras, when sex between youthful attendants and their clients was organized according to relatively egalitarian peasant customs, by the 1890s bathhouse homosexual prostitution was a business not unlike work in heterosexual brothels.
      >Managers appear to have cultivated particular male bath attendants to earn money as sex workers both on the premises and off. Earnings were no longer pooled among the attendants, peasant-fashion, but channeled through a manager who distributed work among attendants. Bathhouse managers were also aware that affluent homosexual men resorted to private cabinets in baths for sex and profited from this arrangement.

      >Simon Karlinsky writes that "the Muscovite period may have been the era of the greatest visibility and tolerance for male homosexuality that the world had seen since the days of Ancient Greece and Rome."

      >Social historians have long relied on foreigners' reports of what they saw in Muscovy. These foreigners wrote vividly about the widespread practice of sodomy or "unnatural vice" between men and boys, between adult men, and between men and animals, in sixteenth- and seventeenth-century Muscovy.

      >Similarly, as commercial bathhouses appeared for the first time in Moscow in the seventeenth century, the state decreed that the sexes should be separated for the sake of public decency. At least on the men's side of commercial baths, youths were employed to scrub clients' backs, and likely also engaged in paid and unpaid sexual relations with them

      >Peter's 1716 military ban on sodomy was intended to begin this transformation where he needed to create "new men" first, in the army and navy. A similar ban was proposed for civilians in a draft penal code of 1754, but was not finally enacted until 1835. This law (which lasted until 1917) was apparently a response to the reports of sodomy in boys' boarding schools, in an era when the state needed another kind of "new man," the pious, conservative yet educated bureaucrat. Yet the growth of cities, and their increasing sophistication, allowed the development of alternatives to the masculinity prescribed by the state.

That said, with their casualty rate, I would be surprised if training has been drastically reduced and requirements lowered, so they could be coming up on the level of "marginally better equipped cannon fodder", which all things considered, is a rather disappointing fate for the VDV.

Dude, the 76th VDV division went straight from the Kreminna woods meatgrinder to trenches in Zaporizhia, literally moved by helicopters from one front to another. On top of that, they didn't transport any of their heavy equipment and their base in Pskov got fucking droned as they were being moved, with several transport planes getting blown up.

These people will call in air strikes for a couple of days, or maybe weeks, and then they'll get overrun by mechanized infantry with western IFVs and tanks.

And since Russians are already preparing to defend Crimea and redirecting considerable supplies there rather than to the front, I wouldn't be surprised if this was just a delaying action anyway.

I'm surprised that the Crimea bridge to Russia hasn't been totally severed. Is it really that difficult to sneak a team of divers to set explosives on the pillars? Also would prioritize the rail bridge over the truck bridge, but break both.

Maybe Ukrainians are just playing the long con and want to deplete the Russian Army in Zaporizhia while their logistics are outsretched because otherwise they'll have to face the same forces again in Donetsk. Or maybe the Russian defences are actually somewhat effective, just not 100% effective and that's the best they could get.

Either way I hope Russians get trapped in the south and destroyed in an Operation Uranus style. Would be extra juicy if it happened in Winter. The shock of such an outcome could be enough to end the war outright. All it takes is just one or two blunders on Russian MOD's part at this point.

The Marichka drone reveal trolled with a few seconds showing the pylon bases so whether that means they'll do it or want Russia to divert resources to defending an attack that will actually come from another vector...who knows?

So what is the Russian reserve situation actually like? YouTube channels Ukraine Matters and Reporting from Ukraine are predicting a breakthrough and forecast Russian reserves being depleted soon. I think they’re optimistic, but what do I know? How are Z bloggers feeling?

        >So what is the Russian reserve situation actually like?
Difficult to assess. They seem to have problems getting the manpower they would like to have, the training is clearly lacking as well as the equipment. But it's not bad enough that their situation on the front would be untenable, they still put up a fight and are able to withstand for at least a certain amount of time.

My guess is that they are stretched thin on more than one aspect and while they still hold up somehow it is only a question of when one part of their whole operation breaks down and takes with it the whole rest. How long until then I can't say, could be days but also well into next year.
And even if part of the front collapses doesn't mean that the whole front folds in on itself and Russia will be pushed out of Ukraine.

        >How are Z bloggers feeling?
That I don't know, but given the last wave of Russian purges in their circles they won't be honest about their personal views or how bad the situation is becoming.

You're infected by a mind worm from 4chan anon, you need to stay away from that pit of despair and propaganda.
Or you're just a wannabe nazi and should mcfuckingkillyourself

Most of the elite in USA are WASP or Irish, with Ashkenazi garden gnomes being disproportionately represented. Also Chinese and Indians are skyrocketing through the list and demographically being really over-represented. It's gonna be funny seeing the old gnomish conspiracies when it's Singhs and Changs running everything.

So there's a tiny bit to it, but Ahskenazis are just rich, secular, educated, so they hit above their weight. They also make up a lot of physics nobel prizes as well.

Nothing surprising there, except maybe forgetting alcoholism
It gave us funny shit though like 2 russians breaking into a military warehouse, stealing 37 kg of explosives, and EATING them because they thought they were sausages

I have long thought why isn't there a modern version of the Fliegerfaust B?

This was a modern creation I think. Make them HE and explode shit to hit the drone. Make it as cheap and disposable as possible.
