Exploit their night attack capabilities. Let them become the stuff of Vatnik nightmares.
Are you the Charlies poster or a different guy?
Same guy. Met a Moxxie fan earlier though.
All I see is a target in need of destruction. Somebody get a bomb in there already.
Situation must be dire for the hohols kek
Nice avatar/signature use
Go on, call the mod you hypocrite, can’t I kill the Russians
Lmao his moronic writing style can be recognized from miles away: I wonder what kind of mental moronation he has.
I love how moto he is.
But but BUT HELICOPTERS ARE OBSOLETE
Life-uh, hate finds a way.
Underrated
They are. This is an expedient way of disposing of them. Death to all russians though. I am a moderate.
And since Ukrainian airspace is filled with AA what's good about a small number of apaches, if they get anywhere near the frontlines it'll get massacred, i wonder if they'll get the brimstones also.
That depends on the doctrine and usage if the helicopters. Hellfires can be useful because they can precisely target things from far away.
Also they can be used much easier inside city limits than aircraft. Shower attacking Wagner convicts with bullets.
>Hellfires can be useful because they can precisely target things from far away.
Hellfire's ranges is what? 8k-10k meters?
This thing will kill the Apache in from 20
Night attacks in urban defense.
Not every heli pilot is braindead russian tough.
Can you show me a Ukrainian plane Russia shot down?
Not him but UA admits to losing a few planes to RU fire
I wonder what on the RF side is useful for shooting down air targets. The Ukrainians have a few competing options.
Source?
>brimstones
Btw, where are the brimstones? Never actually seen any video of them being used or hit anything.
Were they all destroyed like most of the HIMARS and M777s?
Or was the Brimstone just another mediocre western POS that's WAY overhyped and overvalued and expensive?
Russian SAMs are already hard for the little indians.
moron
>Let me video a missile that finds its own targets 40 miles away
>Bragging about destroying a M777
wewlad
>This thing will kill the Apache in from 20
Proof?
Frickface, no one said russian SAM launchers are invulnerable or indestructible...but I guess you are like
with room temperature IQ and the attention span of guppy fish.
Keep jacking off to western military porn.
They don't work. Period.
right, which is why ukraine is conducting daily sorties on russian positions!
>I-IT NEVER HAPPENED!!!
>IT WAS CIA HATO CGI!!!!
>FRICKING HATO CGI!!!
woah, footage from 9 months ago, amazing!
>footage from 9 months ago
Yet, it still happened ON vatnig soil, when they were a lot stronger, and had more manpower/equipment. They're more likely to hit themselves.
>hyuck hyuck hyuck hyuck
oh, they were stronger? then where is recent footage?
>oh, they were stronger?
Of course. That's not saying much, though.
>then where is recent footage?
Dunno, I don't track ever single sortie. HARM attacks, helicopters, and SU-25 attacks I know for sure. Might have to do with them using maintenance intense Soviet planes and helicopters, with limit ammo supplies, too. Hard to keep something that needs an engine overhaul after 1000 flight hours up and running 24/7.
cope. spam more year old webms though if it makes you feel better
Seethe and dial8, tankie troon.
do you have any recent footage other than 2 men getting shot and bodies meticulously lined up and looted of footwear?
The fricking helicopter raid still ranks as one of the highest kinos in the war.
>Keep jacking off to western military porn.
The reality is that one actually happened and resulted in a victory. The other is your own headcanon. Cope harder, you subhuman redditspacing Black person.
Literally name any piece of soviet trash and I'll name a western counterpart that's better in every possible way. HIMARS wouldn't be so devastating if russia had ANYTHING on par with western tech. Being cheap to produce don't count for shit if your dogshit russian crap gets merked by "overpriced" western weapons with impunity.
Can you even imagine how much faster russia would be losing the war than they already are if Ukraine wasn't constantly having to compensate for their shitty russian gear? Face it, there is literally NO capability or quality metric that russian gear has that isn't exceeded by NATO gear even from the fricking 1980s. That's why Iraq got spanked so badly by NATO, it wasn't because Iraqis were bad soldiers, it was because russian gear is just so fricking shit.
We have had one video of a Russian claiming to have killed a truck showing it firing them (literally no kill footage lmao just a video hours later of them hitting a forest), and another of them hitting two tanks simultaneously, but besides that no footage.
The Ukrainians seem to be giving the bongs equipment a lot more opsec
Every time all of the HIMARS are destroyed, they somehow do more HIMARS strikes that kill 600+ Russian scum. Apparently they can come back from the dead.
Oh wow, theyll make some nice target practise for an s300 crew or vatnik with a strela
If ukraine cant fly jets 100ft above the deck apaches are going to be the most pointless addition ever
>S-300
Too valuable to be used on air targets. Better fire it in ground attack mode at some random city.
>Vatnik with strela
That’s the actually dangerous thing out there.
Position infantry around the helicopter's position to screen it against AA. Use the helicopter as close infantry support for urban warfare, darting about like a bat out of hell.
>S-300
Can be avoided if you fly low
>Strela
Does the basic Strela even have thermals on them? It's a threat, but I'm not sure it'd be easy to hit Apache's at long range with it at night.
>Does the basic Strela even have thermals
it has infrared guidance, but only the Verba has infrared-imaging which is I think what you mean
>it has infrared guidance, but only the Verba has infrared-imaging which is I think what you mean
Yeah, thermal imagining. I know the missile itself is heat seeking.
Cause trying to pick out an Apache at night by eyeball seems liked it'd be comically difficult.
Use them as city defense. Vatniks try to shoot them down, the Ukrainians use the wreckage around them as cover.
You know what a b***h it is to fight a helicopter surrounded by ruined buildings? It's got a ton of protection.
>If ukraine cant fly jets 100ft above the deck apaches are going to be the most pointless addition ever
Yeah this is dumb, Ukraine jets are forced to hug the ground and those morons are giving them an aircraft that only accels at two things... hugging the ground and targeting from behind cover.
great, what cover do the massive flat plains of ukraine afford an apache? ''hugging the ground'' also puts it in immediate danger from MANPADs , short range ad like BUK and pantsir, and even small arms fire.
this is not afghanistan were an apache crew gets to loiter around laughing as they pick off hapless third worlders
Put the helicopters in the city.
real life isnt battlefield 4.
Urban environments give helicopters cover. Infantry on the ground will screen for AA.
Simple.
Weren't some apaches shot down by AK 47 in Iraq, they got shot down in Yemen too.
Weren't the helicopters out in the open, not protected by high buildings?
The pilot was hit by an extremely lucky shot, but the ones in Yemen are just... Ya those pilots are straight moronic
How do you know it was lucky, maybe the guy was a good shot.
the cope is hilarious, the whole of /k/ is just a massive reddit/Black gay seeth
yes, theyre hilariously fragile.
youve played too many videogames zoomer. ukraine also doesnt have a building taller than about 40 floors
No trees in Ukraine, zero hills, no buildings? As for Air Defense, Hellfires have a nice long range to stay outside of manpads and drones can scout ahead for bigger systems. Hellfire Apache's are an in and out kind of system.
>If Ukraine can't fly jets 100ft above the deck then aircraft designed for the express purpose of flying slightly above tree level will be bad and dumb.
Your central thesis could use a little work.
Not a Bong but on a scale how reliable is the mirror?
It's usually considered a tabloid.
They are literally the only ones with this news. I think it's safer to wait for confirmation.
So it’s a nothing burger. Thanks bros.
on a scale from 1 to 10 i would say X−1<X<0
It isn't, wait till the morning and see if it's on the BBC or maybe Sky
t.Bong
I’m not a bong, but europoor. Mirror is -300
>how reliable is the mirror?
>Is the mirror a decent source?
Complete shit. It's the paper Piers Morgan was the editor for. He got sacked because the paper published fake photos of Iraqis being abused by British soldiers because they wanted to cash in on the Abu-Ghraib scandal, and to this day denies they are fake even though they make the shit the FSB puts out about Ukraine look convincing
>on a scale how reliable is the mirror?
It's clickbait garbage from before clickbait was even a thing
If the Mirror says the sun is going to rise tomorrow it probably won't. It's a tabloid of the worst kind
This is hyperbole. It's no worse a tabloid than The Sun. Arguably it is marginally higher brow, more political content.
More free gibs me dats for ukraine
that aside, this sounds like a bad decision - apache's are going to be operating in a very manpad saturated area with minimal logistical support
We also have limited apache's as is, and although we're getting new ones we'd need more in general if we want to equip the QE class, keep our NATO commitments and then have a few stationed in the middle east.
If they were deadset on attack helo's then perhaps surplus tigers/mangustas would be better - otherwise drones and light fighters (ideally lightly used F-16's, or Gripens, perhaps new F/A-50's if they can be delivered quick enough, with BVRAAMS and PGM's) would be better.
It's one of the better "tabloids" - titles are very sensationalist but if the source is good then it's somewhat reputable.
Whilst the BBC may have an agenda, it's probably the best source for this kind of thing.
There's a real possibilty Ukraine will have up to 200 western tanks and several western attack helicopters by summer.
I'm loving it.
Only if the west is crazy enough to deplete itself before the war with China or Iran
Look how many Abrams the US has in stock, even if the UK sent its entire tank fleet and Apache fleet the US could lease/sell/give them replacements almost over night and everyone would be back to full strength.
13 carriers anon...thirteen.
Hell, we'll probably end up training the Ukrainians on how to use a fricking aircraft carrier post-war, lol.
Bonus if the Ukrainians eventually start churning out vehicles from factories again. Supposedly they've commenced ammo production once more.
All their factory's have been getting bombed. Their tank factory's are destroyed.
Ukraine realistically is not going to be able to manufacture any thing until the conflict is over.
>13 carriers anon...thirteen.
GOD. BLESS.
Eleven, at least one of which is being refueled at any given moment.
JFK is at least a year away and Nimitz will be scrapped at that point.
Like:
said, the USN only has 11 carriers, but there's also nine assault ships which typically only carry six F-35s, though they can operate up to 20 if they leave the rest of their air assets at home.
Picrel is of two carriers flanking an assault ship (which is more of a troop transport than anything).
200 tanks is less than 10% of the vehicles in active use in all NATO militaries, let alone the thousands of Abrams sitting in storage in the desert.
Bro, they've built 3,500 Leopard 2s and 10,400 M1 Abrams so far and both assembly lines are still operating. I think NATO can spare a few hundred and still be ayyy-ok.
Before ukraine war. You fricking russian b***hes were speaking the same thing over and over again and that was “russians will come and we will occupy the whole europe. Now you know you stand no fricking chance literally no chance so you change the tone to aaaa you are sending your tanks against us buut china willl come and occupy the whole what ? Wordl ? Indopacific ? Again the same shits as with russian drunk b***hes
>I'm Mc-lovin' it.
*ftfy
Can't find a mention of this anywhere other than one "article" in the Mirror.
https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/uk-sends-apache-helicopters-armed-28955516
I'd tuck it back in, boys, until a real source turns up. Seems like something's going on there, but, the Mirror is not a reliable source for almost anything, especially something that would be this big.
UK already sent western helicopters although non attack ones, given they already confirmed tanks its very likely
Looks like all the soviet stock in NATO has ended, now they'll send the modern western stuff to get destroyed, NATO will get in WW3 already weakened, no tanks, artillery, helicopters, manpads and ATGM to counter the chinese.
>How to destroy BMP of type BMP?
>This part you can shoot with 9mm to make a fist sized hole in it's lungs
You gotta do more of these, that's fricking hilarious.
>2024
>Both Russia and the West have run out of vehicles originally allocated for use in the war
>Russian T-55s are now facing off against Ukrainian Abrams M1A2 main battle tanks
Wait, *BASELINE* M1A2s!?! Not even M1A2 SEPv1's??? By 2024, we'll be down to just the spares with the upgraded gunner's sights and third-generation depleted uranium armor we keep for our own needs? We'll have completely run out of all the "gift" spares made after 1995? Do you realize what that means? If we go to war with China *and* Iran, we might only be able to send Taiwan M1A1 AIM v.1 tanks!
is this a fricking video game?
I swear the tanks in valkyria chronicles have the exact same weaknesses
>"Attack its weak point for massive damage Boris!"
tbf "armored vehicles are less armored on the sides, bottom, and top" is just a universal truth of armored vehicles. I guess some tanks had thick side armor but even they had weaker rears.
It's standard for armored vehicles to have thinner armor on the sides, rear, and underside (decreasing in that order): that way they can use thicker armor on the front (which is more likely to be taking fire) without compromising on weight
Irl infantry have the same weakspots as video game infantry, too
>is this a fricking video game?
Yes, it came from Battlefield 3 and 4 logic. The weak parts of the armors in game was the rear.
no one tell the moron running that channel that the Bradley's protection is way different from the 1980s model
>vatniks are going to get themselves killed by engaging bradleys with an unwarranted confidence that they'll pen it
I can't wait for the footage
It's like Japanese pilots mistaking Hellcats for Wildcats all over again
Oh the higher ups know it very well. They just will do the "not my problem attitude". They will bullshit the Conscriptovish with how "our AK 47 pierces that bradley shit through like butter, you have nothing to worry about comrade!" just so they can send the meatwave forward and get their quota done.
>14.5mm/.50 cal
I'm getting quite a giggle out of Bradley being translated as "the American Bradley model BMP".
That's what the Bradley literally is. БMП = IFV in Russian.
Thanks for sharing that info. I honestly feel kinda dumb for not wondering what BMP actually stood for.
>Is it possible to call an airstrike?
Why even put this on the poster it just calls attention to the fact that russoid air support is nonexistent lmao
I, McDonaldson Coolguy from Los Diego oblast am demoralized!
>that "infographic"
I'm so demoralized right now! We must give putin Ukraine, Poland, and Germany, to prevent WW3 from happening!
I'm looking forward to some vatniks with a 14.5mm MG doing a textbook perfect ambush and just emptying the entire fricking belt into the side of a Bradley, They start cheering and hive-fiving each other until the turret starts rotating towards them. I hope they have just enough time to realize what had happened before they get autocannoned to death. Miraculously, the cell phone they were using to record the ambush survives, a Ukrainian finds it, posts the clip on social media, and we all get to laugh at it.
>mfw the US alone has 2 Airforces and 2 ground Armies, each of which could defeat Russia on their own
THREE air forces. The Marines have their own planes.
>senior defence source said
Uhuh yeah
If at all true, probably on a timeline like F16s and ATACMS missiles, ie many months away
64 helicopters won't make oinkraine win, apaches or not. west soledar was just a fein.
z
Ukraine is starting to look more and more like a second Vietnam for NATO
Yeah, except we're the Russians this time, lol. We're supplying the Ukraine-Cong with endless weaponry, and the invaders can't do jackshit to stop us, lol.
>Vatnik projection
Thanks for the laugh anon.
Difference is that this is survival to Russia and they'll burn Ukraine to the ground if they have to, and the population is not cucked so the great majority will get behind the government, differently from america.
>Survival to Russia
No, it's survival to Putin's regime. It's survival to ALL Ukrainians by contrast.
It's the will of a handful of Russians against the entire Ukrainian people.
Russia will lose.
Flawed logic, under Russia Ukrainians would remain Ukrainians, under the west they could have the same fate of the native populations.
Bullshit. Putin's intent is to genocide all of Ukraine.
But the Russians will fail.
Now that he saw the xoxols are too far gone that may be his objective, in my opinion he should have done this since the beginning, you don't take chances in matters involving the future of the nation, and you're naive if you think they'll fail.
DISMANTLE the Russian Logistics and their military manufacturing, and they'll fail.
All the Vatnik manpower on Earth doesn't count for shit without something called AMMO.
Maybe it's time for some Russian oil refineries to have accidents too, for good measure.
I favor straightforward solutions to problems.
Assuming it's not bait, did anyone else just see this motherfricker sincerely pivot from "In order to protect Ukraine from being genocided, we must genocide all Ukrainians" in literally one fricking post
Holy shit
Are you still surprised by vatniks having no regard for internal consistency? These are the people who brought you the narco-Nazi Judenfuhrer of the Nazi SS and the Second Great Patriotic War against him to protect the people of donbas from bombings (more civilians have died today than died from 2014-2022)
Only an american could be that moronic, you animals truly don't have reading comprehension do you, Ukros have always been poor because they were corrupt not because of Russia, and they're still corrupt fricks, see hunter biden making 50k per month in a gas company, the whole country has been a money laundry hub for western politicians since Euromaidan, if they had stayed under russian influence they would be much better, now Putin has no choice but to destroy the ukrainian state, or else risk having an aggressive, massively corrupt puppet country in its borders, so yeah, im all for ukrainian genocide, they made their beds and i hope they drag the west to hell with them.
>Putin transitions to committing (overt) genocide
Time to do a F-35 reboot of the American Volunteer Group, I guess.
>under Russia Ukrainians would remain Ukrainians
Just like how they remained Ukrainian under the Soviets?
>under Russia Ukrainians would remain Ukrainians
Just like in Karelia and the Baltics?
Once the steppemutt rape horde has finished, any remaining population gets flooded with Russians who will proceed to undermine any native political system in favor of giving more money and power to Moscow
>Rachel S. Cohen
Bad bait. Main goal of Putin since his first attempt to install Yanukovych in 2003 was to make Ukrainians speak russian, write russian, and forget that there was any ukrainian in the first place. And since he failed not only in 2004 but also in 2014, now he went full NKVD and wants to purge all Ukrainians, re-educate children into obedient supporters of his regime, and import millions of vatniks.
Burn all of Russia's military infrastructure to the ground, and they won't be able to do jackshit.
No ammo = no more invasion.
As Hans Gruber said, "SHOOT the glass."
Russian military production is going full steam, they're popping more Kalibr monthly than west production of cruise missiles in a year, pic related BTR 82A out of the factory.
how many 40yo drunk conscripts with no training, no food and no equipement can you put in those things?
Not to mention they still FUEL to even move, lol.
Logistics is everything, and Russians suck ass at it.
Russia could literally be outmanufactured by Mexico. Clown nation.
>Pictured, the entire stock of BTRs produced since the onset of the war
>In 2014
How nice of Russia to donate all those BTRs to Ukraine
Yes, Ivan. The reason why the USSR won in World War Two was that they shouted "ura" enough times. If you show enough willingness to endure hardship and make sacrifices then the Russian spirit within you will make you immune to Ukrainian bullets. Just keep doing what your doing and you'll win because your nation is in no way committing suicide at the moment.
l e n d l e a s e
So, was the Bong training thread earlier a little hint to us? An anon posted picrel earlier today...
>a hint
Probably not. The UK has been training with Apaches for a while, it's not news.
The hyperleap here is giving their brand new Apaches to Ukraine, while the Brits are still learning how to use Apache's themselves. It wouldn't surprise me if some Ukeis are included in the training program and that (eventually) Apaches might be on the table for Ukraine.
But, UK delivering Apaches to Ukraine next week is insane, krokodil-tier hallucinations.
I think the troll squatting on the tread and shitting unhinged ESL all over it is an indication of what's happening here.
The only value Apaches have in Ukraine is defending cities in close-quarters battle, properly screened by supporting infantry.
The only value your comment has is how much it highlights your mental capacity or lack of.
>UK has been training with Apaches for a while
No shit sherlock they've had them almost 20 years.
>Still learning to use them themselves
Are you high?
The rest of your spiel doesn't deserve a reply clearly you are out of your depth and should return to where you came from you imbecile.
>Are you high?
Brits got new AH-64Es last year. They're still putting all the aircrews and ground crews through operational conversion training while they wait for the remaining helicopters to be delivered
The older AH-64Ds are being withdrawn to be fully replaced by AH-64Es
Shut the frick up back peddling idiot
More like 35+ years on Apache.
bruh the Brits have used Apaches for decades. wut
People like you are the downfall of society. Speaking so highly of a subject you no nothing about.
>The British Army has declared its first regiment of 16 Boeing/Westland Apache AH1 attack helicopters ready for operational deployment, while the UK Ministry of Defence has ordered its first major systems upgrade for the type since it entered service in January 2001.
>January 2001.
>Brits are still learning how to use Apache's themselves
>2001
>Apache AH1
Why not just keep it at AH64 instead of naming it like a fricking Cobra?
in practice, people say AH-64 anyway, but AH.1 (note the period) is the British classification system, just like Tornado F.2, Harrier GR.7, and so on
>even worse tabloid quotes tabloid
anon, you fell for the circlejerk
>Attack helicopter 1
>AH1
Weve never had an attack helicopter before and we don't operate the cobra so its irrelevant I guess?
https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/latest-news/britain-apache-helicopters-ukraine-war-28957065
Don't ever reply to me again with a daily mail link, it's just a copy and paste of OPs article. What did you expect to gain from this? Idiot.
Please don't use "Don't ever". It makes me think of that AIDS-Skrillex meme.
Journalist is an idiot.
UK is deploying Apaches to eastern europe along with the first 4 Challenger 2s, which will be based in eastern europe for training Ukrainian crews
The 4 Challengers will go to ukraine after another 8 CR2s are delivered. The Apaches will not
>UK is deploying Apaches to eastern europe...
Nah they've been there ages already..Poland Estonia and Macedonia since March.
Those were WAH-64Ds for exercises. They returned to the UK after a couple of weeks.
They're deploying the new AH-64Es this time and it's hinted that they may stay there longer as part of NATO EFP
Apaches are permanently deployed in Macedonia and Estonia as part of the Nato efp. The ones in Poland returned. They aren't deploying the Es either. Everything you said was wrong.
>UK is deploying Apaches to eastern europe
That sounds much more likely
Reminds me of when people though Skysabre was going to Ukraine
Source?
>British Apache attack helicopters have deployed to North Macedonia for Exercise Swift Response. May 2022
>Estonia has Apaches and Wildcats since April 2019
This is old news I think the guy in the mirror didn't get confused he's either bare faced lying or has a inside source...the latter is doubtful
>or has a inside source...the latter is doubtful
He probably has an "inside" "source" and knows he won't get in any trouble for posting such unsubstantiated bullshit as long as he can claim to have heard the story from someone else first before publishing the article, even if that's a confused gypsy in the pub.
why is the UK getting rid of its Apaches?
>why is the UK getting rid of its Apaches?
theyre fricking worthless death-traps, and the apache will be easily shot down, just the same as every other man-piloted helicopter on either side of this war
how long does it take to train a hohol to fly an apache ?
is there a chance some anglo scum will get shot down and burn alive ?
>how long does it take to train a hohol to fly an apache ?
It already happened. The moment the aid is announced the deed is already done.
>is there a chance some anglo scum will get shot down and burn alive ?
Not unless somebody is willing to (and able to) shoot a western heli, piloted by a westerner in western airspace. So basically no chance, sir.
>Not unless somebody is willing to (and able to) shoot a western heli, piloted by a westerner in western airspace. So basically no chance, sir.
sad 🙁 but i'll still enjoy dead piggies 🙂
Is the mirror a decent source? Can’t find this stuff on any other site…
Apaches would be a game changer, they are the best anti-tank stuff around. 3 of them could easily destroy 50 tanks
*de-fund westland + bae*
*cha cha*
Please enjoy a British classic
UK dis stupid sucknak
There are hellfire missiles that aren't deadly?
I mean I assume there's training versions
it's a leftist bong tabloid
it must have ADJECTIVE NOUN VERBS ADJECTIVE NOUN!!1! in every other sentence, and most certainly in the headline
yes, because they have automated warning and countermeasures packages and those actually work
are they really more survivable than slavshit on a sam infested enviroment?
If its true US should send the Helfire samurai edition with the Bongs Apache
>Prime Minister Rishi Sunak
DOING THE NEEDFUL SIRS
>mfw there's a possibility of getting gun cam footage of Apache's popping open BMP's and T90's
BIG if true
What's the effective range of an apache? Depending on the Ukrainians may be able to use them to strike russian depots in russia itself. The competency of the Russian military is honestly so low I don't think they'd ever be able to effectively counter it.
>You will never destroy Russian armour columns in with Hellfire and Brimstone
Why live?
Because one day you might sink Chinese landing craft with Hellfire and Brimstone AND a chin-mounted M230 30mm chain gun.
Wtf are bongs doing? What next?`Planes? Nukes? ICBMs? Uboots?
>western fighters are already in Ukraine under tight opsec and will be deployed all at once when they're ready for an air superiority sweep against russia
>one gets shot down, paraded on telegram
>it's a Typhoon with all the serial numbers filed off
Apache's aren't kino enough. How many Cobra's do we still have out in the desert? Give the ukies those.
That would be interesting to see
>they actually are able to use that huge radar on top and spam NLOS missiles
Would be pretty fricking sweet to see combat footage of if they manage it
The UK are NOT sending Apache helicopters to Ukraine. The Daily Mirror are not a reliable news source either.
The West will never give the Ukrainians anything that would give them such an advantage over the Russians that it might bring this war to a swift end. It simply isn't in the interests of Western powers for Russia to stop right in the middle of its own self destruction. The Ukrainians have given the west the proxy war it has dreamed of for decades.
Yes, we are sending 10 Challenger 2 tanks to Ukraine and we have been training their guys to operate them since the summer.
Sending just 10 of these tanks is unlikely make any real impact on the battlefield at all. Western nations are providing enough to Ukraine to keep it in the fight politically and logistically in order to prevent their defeat, but we aren't and won't be giving them the means to force Russian withdrawal.
Also, Challenger 2 tanks are NOT Apache helicopters.
Apaches wont do shit.
Every little helps
>Nightmare machines that probably have the highest KDR per sortie out of any American vehicle in the GWOT won't do anything
Yeah, okay.
>the highest KDR per sortie out of any American vehicle in the GWOT
Only because america wasn't using them exposed in hostile air space, as soon as they come under enemy fire they crumble like any other glass canon. Without US level of air dominance, apaches could struggle to perform outside the same tasks the russians use their attack helicopters for these days
Tldr your a moron and don't know the combat history of the Apache and its use.
LMAO
when has the apache come up against a fully integrated AD network like in ukraine right now?
>eight AH-64As guided by four MH-53 Pave Low IIIs destroyed part of Iraq's radar network in the operation's first attack, allowing the attack aircraft to evade detection.
>Under Saddam Hussein, Iraq developed a formidable integrated air defense system with the help of France and the Soviet Union. That network was comprehensively diminished during the 1991 Gulf War and never recovered
Oh no, your moronic. Could you be malnourished maybe?
Fyi Saddam had a better AD network than Russhite it seems given how shit the RuAF is doing kek.
Wrecked soviet tier trash by thr metric ton?
Oh sorry I upset you
>Wrecked soviet tier trash by thr metric ton?
you mean after the entire AD network had been destroyed? cause they definitely werent doing it beforehand
>Fyi Saddam had a better AD network than Russhite it seems given how shit the RuAF is doing kek.

It's fricking wild that all of the equipment the West designed to beat back the Soviets in the Fulda Gap will now fulfill their purpose, but they're beating back the Russians, being piloted by Ukrainians.
What's the opposite of spinning in your grave? Whatever that feeling is, I'm sure Tom Clancy is feeling it right now.
jizzing in your grave?
>So, is this true or what, very big escalation
they keep fighting with literal flying tanks but sure the apache somehow will make a difference
Send harry to pilot one of em
>Harry kills 50 mobiks
>writes a book about it
>celebrated as a war hero
>royal family does a u-turn and begs him to return
>deadly hellfire missiles
Does that imply there are less lethal hellfire missile?
No, but your post does imply you have semantic pragmatic language disorder.
the ninja one
>Nerf starts producing hellfire missiles
Honestly why hasn't anyone made a drone that shoots nerf darts or drop nerf grenades?
>So, is this true or what, very big escalation
Awesome, I bet russian SAM guys and pilots are waiting for them with even more enthusiasm then the hohols!
>eight AH-64As guided by four MH-53 Pave Low IIIs destroyed part of Iraq's radar network in the operation's first attack, allowing the attack aircraft to evade detection.
>Under Saddam Hussein, Iraq developed a formidable integrated air defense system with the help of France and the Soviet Union. That network was comprehensively diminished during the 1991 Gulf War and never recovered
Russian Sams are only good for commercial aeroplanes. It's thirdie cope that can't afford western aircraft. Why you would post a picture of a Pantsir is beyond me.
>Russian Sams are only good for commercial aeroplanes.
The ex-Ukranian Air Force would like to have a word with you, dumbass.
>Why you would post a picture of a Pantsir is beyond me.
A great deal is beyond you kid, don't strain yourself trying to understand.
AH-64As guided by four MH-53 Pave Low IIIs destroyed part of Iraq's radar network in the operation's first attack, allowing the attack aircraft to evade detection.
incredible, they destroyed some unguarded forward radar sites right on the edge of the iraqi border, what did they do for the rest of the air campaign again?
Thanks to the shitload of MANPADs they will probably be forced to stay well back and lob Hellfires. Still they will make a great QRF for enemy armor.
Nice, can't wait to see slavshit rust buckets capped from 11 km out.
Sadly, I think this is a false report by the Mirror.
>obviously fake
>213 replies
and then you wonder why people call you NPC...
>t. sims 3 hater
fake or not, it will happen regardless, so might as well discuss it, seething vatnoid
>NPC rage
I guess you tried.
you're the only one enraged
Tell it to me straight /k/ay, are Cuckniks fricked or it's just a meme copter?
They're never going to send Apaches. They're simply too expensive, and wouldn't be cost effective. I mean, for one of those, you can get several F-16s, 10 to 15 Abrams, or several dozen TB2s.
>They're simply too expensive
not a problem if they come with repatriated pilots 🙂
You what?
Apache 52m today
F16blk70 63m today
Abrahms 6.2m, in 1999.., 10.9m today
But they sacked The M261 High-Explosive Multipurpose Submunition [MPSM] long ago. So how gunships would do their favorite lobbing FFARs tactics? Standard FFARs are not good for this
>article 404'd and no mention of it anywhere else
False alarm then
Yeah, tabloid doing tabloid shit
UK has given over three Sea Kings to Ukraine, but that's barely noteable in the grand scheme of things
So that training exercise with helicopters was actually Ukes flying? Kek
>Mirror
Probably not happening.
>mirror.co.uk
no, no it is not
oh n-
Did feel that story felt a little suspect.
Though if Apache's aren't on the table, I am curious if more modernized Little Bird Gunships would be viable in terms of being lower maintenance and being easier to train on.
What an astonishingly shit helicopter
Does Ukraine have pilots left? Are the west openly fielding vehicle operators at this point?
