>someone did an inspection on a critical military asset >errors were found >severe repercussions came for everyone in charge >details were released to the public
This sounds like a pretty healthy situation, albeit something that shouldn't have happened in the first place.
>severe repercussions came for everyone in charge >details were released to the public
And those are the parts you're glossing over, proper action being taken to address the issue publicly instead of letting it fester behind closed doors for a few bucks under the table.
Oh okay I guess like these rapidly increasing cases of failure to accomplish tasks and maintain standards is A-okay then. I'm glad you could clear that up. Everything is fine.
No, everything is fine when they say everything is fine. People getting shitcanned due to standards not being upheld IS maintaining standards you dumb fucking retard.
>failure to maintain standards
This is what maintenance of standards looks like.
Compare to russia where every division is full strenght, all men are trained to highest standard possible, every nuclear weapon fully tested to be ready to launch at a moments notice, every ship spotless and with every single system fully operational.,
You can't have a massive system running smoothly indefinetly when humans are involved. If course correction is unacceptable then why even have inspections? All it does is get a bunch of kentuckian trailer trash church goers upset that standards are being maintained.
>social media and private communications indicate political unreliability
The power to elevate incompetents to positions where they will degrade capabilities and performance is as grievous as outright espionage and sabotage.
One of them was the Motor-T commander who got fired after his troops snitched on him for trying to rubber stamp vehicle inspections that needed replacement parts, which is hilarious considering all the stupid Vatniks and Pajeets ITT trying to deflect away from their own dogshit systems of accountability
The inability of some cultures to see that is why they will always stay shit. Why correct mistakes and improve when everything is perfect already and the system has no flaws?
Them being fired for a lack of confidence is a good thing. Implies there’s not just festering corruption going unchecked until they do something worse than like not initialing the timesheet right or whatever.
Nuke assignments suck from what I’ve heard and have to assume. In the middle of nowhere doing nothing attentively forever.
The fact six of them slipped through the cracks to higher levels of command is worrying and too large a sample size to ignore. We've been seeing this sort of thing ramp up for over a decade now. The officers put in charge are inept, incompetent, often downright corrupt. The machine is no longer well oiled.
>slipped through the cracks
How can they have slipped through the cracks if they were relieved of command? >sample size too large to ignore
A sample size of one? >the machine is no longer well oiled
Do you have some additional details you would like to share?
Attitudes like yours don't lead to greater efficiency, they lead to greater cover ups. Every army has problems, it's how they are dealt with that is the difference between Desert Storm and the Special Military Operation.
Take off the rainbow thigh-highs and get a job moron.

nice projection, so far your arguments have been to bring up ukraine and talk about rainbows. I think you're on the wrong board anon, you'd feel better back on 4chan most likely
If there was a way to make that happen we would be doing that instead but there isn't, so finding and eliminating the corrupt/incompetent as they consistently next best option
>the difference between Desert Storm and the Special Military Operation
do you think that maybe the difference between the two is that one got hundreds of billions of dollars of equipment, intelligence, training, and logistical assistance from the entire West and one didn't?
If Russia actually spent 60 or so billion a year budget on equipment, logistics and training instead of embezzling, stealing and lying at every fucking level then the imminent predictions of Kyiv's fall the US made would have been a reality and heavier western aid would have never gotten through the door. The Russians did this shit to themselves, nice self portrait btw.
> but there was another commander recently dismissed for hunting on base property
Yeah that’s the kind of shit I imagine happens sometimes. Just idle boredom and careless leading to relatively-petty levels of corruption and declining standards and stuff.
this, people cheering are retarded. Biden is finding excuses to purge people. This is a Soviet style removal of military leaders, not fixing actual issues
>This is a Soviet style removal of military leaders, not fixing actual issues
Biden has been in political power for 40+ Fucking years and has been an executive for almost 12 of those years now. Why do Russian simps want to act like the Us is suddenly some Soviet tier projection case? You're like the morons claiming Obama was going to 'invade texas'. He already won you numb nuts.
>Biden has been in political power for 40+ Fucking years and has been an executive for almost 12 of those years now.
The first 8 also involved a bunch of Soviet style political purges under obama. Why wouldn't he do the same now?
> The official said the dismissals were based on non-compliance with safety regulations for vehicles and equipment, and while the decision to relieve the officers of command was based on the results of one safety inspection, the units had not been compliant for some time. The official was not authorized to discuss details of the firings publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity.
>There is no indication that the failed inspection was related to the handling of a nuclear weapon itself. Another defense official said the failure was for “non-compliance vehicle and equipment safety inspections.”
"Minot has endured frequent high-level dismissals over the past two decades, including the 91st Missile Wing Operations Support Squadron commander in 2021, the 69th Bomb Squadron and 91st Security Forces Group commanders in 2018, the 741st Missile Squadron commander in 2014, the 91st Missile Wing commander in 2009 and the 5th Bomb Group commander in 2007."
They either:
#1Used improper pronouns and called a vehicle good old girl or some diversity shit. (No worries typical current fuckery in the military)
#2 The FBI will start taking about dirty bombs and evil right wing christian Trump supporters (More worry but still typical current government fuckery)
They probably didn't agree with gay pride celebrations at the base so the Biden administration removed them and put some trannies in charge, or some fucking brown nosing idiots like Mark Milley.
I mean.. at least they're paying enough attention to notice? That's a good sign. The breakdown that let it get that far? Less of a good sign.
Nothing exploded though. Silver lining.
>u vill turn the keys
Uh, yes. that is their duty, that's why they were selected to sit in those chairs. When the time comes, they are the ones who obey that order. There must be exact and absolutely perfect adherence to every minutia of every protocol.
If it is discovered that they won't obey that order when it comes, they get terminated with extreme prejudice. It's almost like launching or not launching nukes is serious or something.
Krokodil-snorting meth heads like (You) don't get far enough to apply.
Repeated misgendering of their subordinate Airpersyns and refusal to participate in mandatory Teambuilding Sodomy Sessions.
In all seriousness, these commands are where you have to have your shit wired tight top to bottom at all times. I can see where duty there would be stressful in the extreme, and due to what you know and have seen, it doesn’t stop when you leave that duty or the service.
The Men In Black check up on you for the rest of your life.
PROTIP: if you own a nuke over a year without negligent discharging at least once, you aren't handling it enough. It makes me a better nuke handler and marksman, and it's a small part of the price you pay in the sheepdog lifestyle Simple fact is, the "safety mentality" will build mental blocks in your head that will get you killed. You need to be comfortable putting your finger on the trigger and pointing the nuke wherever you want no matter the time, place, or status of the weapon. Taking time to check whether the nuke is loaded whenever you pick one up will serve to make you hesitate in a personal defense scenario. You fucking safety idiots are going to get people killed all because of this fucking "ND" shaming. Nukes are inherently dangerous, you need to accept it.

Wonder if they did a scenario like in the war games where they had to fire a nuke and the person said no.

You're right, we should promote leaders who perform poorly just like stronk puccia
They are no longer highest officers so there is no loss of faith.

You think it's a joke. That's why you don't belong here. You have no idea how bad things really are.

Attitudes like yours don't lead to greater efficiency, they lead to greater cover ups. Every army has problems, it's how they are dealt with that is the difference between Desert Storm and the Special Military Operation.
I'm not arguing that they shouldn't be knocked down. I'm arguing that they never should have gotten to this state to begin with.

It can depend. This one was them failing an important inspection, but there was another commander recently dismissed for hunting on base property.

Soviet style purges is being taken out back and out down like old yeller. These people most likely got reassigned to a different unit/mos
Damn that sounds way too likely
They sim fired them at Israel and DC instead.
