If it works, yes. If it doesn't, no. That's all us armchair generals can really say.

This is just Wagner making up excuses once they get pushed away from Bakhmut. They've gone full "stab in the back" by loudly complaining about a lack of munitions. Now they'll lose and say they were facing a super horde of bioengineered NATO troony soldiers which is the onyl reason they lost.

Friendly reminder that until a nuke goes off in Ohio and 16 year old girls are being drafted for factory work, moronic teenagers like that anon will always shitpost for attention. No matter how serious the subject.

I'm not kidding. It took walking through the fricking camps for US soldiers to really get the point, why do you think a moron like that guy would get it by default?

And Putin rose to power by bombing some apartments and killing 300 of his own people. So you might say Hitler was way more efficient.

if you try to concentrate everywhere, you're concentrated nowhere

although, i assume there's one sector that's actually concentrated for a deep penetration while the rest will be used to fix russian forces to they can't reinforce the main target

Big fricking bombs require big fricking planes to drop them. And you want to be absolutely sure you've 100% eliminated SAM threats before you send one of those in.

      they can't SEAD

Impossible to say from the outside, assuming its even true. Generally speaking I trust the judgment of Ukrainian command, they have had a lot of strategic successes and not too many embarrassing failures

      >I trust the judgement of Ukrainian command
My one concern with that line of thinking is the potential for their successes last year to develop into arrogance and lead to a catastrophe that they cannot afford. Admittedly it would seem they were right to ignore NATO suggestion regarding the scale of their counter offensive last year. A two pronged approach was the right call.
If they are really building up for something similar, I guess time will tell if it is the right call yet again, or if they would have been better served to focus their attention where it would be to their highest strategic benefit.

Dont forget Wagner are mercenaries and Prigo already fell out of grace. I will shit my pants all the day down if CIA just buys him and he switches sides. Sounds insane? Remember how we were baffled in september, when encircling Balaklia was suddenly happening in Shevchenkove? And we had no idea why are they running some suicide raid deep into russian lines. Until vatniks started to run (into trees)

Probing attacks over the whole line isn't a terrible military plan tbh. Attack and exploit.

there is one place the ukrainians need to target if they want to set the conditions this year to eventually wrap this thing up in winter or sometime in 2024.

if they cannot retake this with all of the materiel and advisory the west has given then they don’t really deserve the land they’ve lost so far.
