Turkey reveals new Cenk MRBM with Maneuverable reentry vehicle. Apparently the missile will have range beyond 3000 kilometers
Neat. Is Turkey going for nooks?
I don't know. All Turkey lacks right now is nuclear warhead. Means of delivery is here
Turkey has nuclear power stations coming online and supposedly has nuclear breakout capability.
They currently have NATO nukes stationed their too so the logistical know-how of transport, care and maintenance is somewhat there.
I'd put them in the same category as Japan in terms of breakout capability.
They won't go for it publicly though s the sanctions aren't worth it.
Started before the patriot/s-400 debacale. Turkey wanted drones (preds/reapers i can't remember) and America proved unreliable.
Especially considering the shit the U.S. pulled in Syria and the refugees they burdened upon Turkey whilst supporting Kurds who were actively terrorising Turkey at the time.
You know what? Good for Turkey.
Bombing a country within Nato is a sure fire way to shatter the military alliance.
Turkey won't publically admit to nukes, they'll sign agreements behind the scenes to never actually use them (Which is why they're developing MRBM's not ICBM's) and it'll be business as usual. If America wanted to fuck over Turkey they'd just attempt another regime change.
> and America proved unreliable.
Lol. What sorta roach cope is this? The US isn’t obligated to bend the knee to Turkey’s seething about the Kurds and not being an empire anymore.
Not a roach cope, USA is an unreliable ally and will put it's own interests first.
Nothing wrong with that, in the same way that nothing is wrong with Turkey putting its own interests first and going domestic.
At this point any industrial nation with some uranium reserves could spin up a gun type device in half a year or so. Everybody would know but it's hard to stop without a direct military intervention.
>At this point any industrial nation with some uranium reserves could spin up a gun type device in half a year or so.
No you still need to do isotope refining to >90% u235 purity, so you are talking out of your asshole, as is usual on this board.
Aegean sea.
Greekbros I don't feel so good
>we're gonna invade and nuke an EU and NATO member!
Both are NATO so it cancels out
depends on the election resoults
We have to stop Turkey from getting nukes at all costs. They will not be detered from using it as they are aware they're the only creatures that can survive a nuclear war.
Why the fuck is turkey now the only nation in "Europe" to invest in military development?
Is it due to lax laregulations?
Because they got fucked over by the US with the whole S-400 thing to the point they will start their own MIC out of spite.
The point of Europe not investing in their MIC is kinda not true. UK and especially France have been going at it for quite some time, selling weapons to third world countries, especially as Russia has collapsed. The problem is Germany who is beyond cucked.
They were offered patriot instead of S-400 and they chose to repeatedly say fuck NATO and sided with Russia.
The US didn't fuck turkey, turkey fucked themselves. They had accepted delivery of their first F-35 and had pilots in the US training on it, and instead they threw it all away for S-400 that is garbage and worse than patriot at the end of the day anyway.
So good job turkey, no 5th gen fighter, and a worse air defense system AND you pissed of your supposed western allies.
Get fucked turkey you deserve everything coming.
>F-35
A plane which has a killswitch built in and can't be used without US approval. It's a safe purchase for any Euro country but for Turkey it's a death sentence. Some interview with a former Pilot revealed that Turkey deliberately sabotaged the contract so they don't sucked further into the money pit called F-35.
This is all turk cope invented after they got kicked from the program.
None of that is true, all the F-35 needs is western training and supply chains.
If Turkey was worried about a western kill switch it's simply because turkey 100% plans on betraying the west. So good, fuck em. No 5th gen, no decent air defense, and no more western trust.
Another F-35 crashed into the sea while this post was written. Thanks to US cuckery the Turkish MIC is booming and make no mistake, these weapons WILL be used on your allies as they have been so far.
God I can't wait until roaches actually betray NATO so we can just stop pretending.
>Implying US is even pretending
kek'd. Literally supports terrorists right next to Turkey's border.
I mean, on the surface we still make offers like patriot sales, F-16V upgrade sales, etc.
>reee they're terrorists because they like someone
>NATO
Who is this "NATO"? And why its irrelevant members bark the loudest when it comes to NATO subjects?
If you're not the US, France, Turkey or Britain, shut the fuck up.
They were never offered patriot. US told them they wont be getting the actual tech behind it
They were offered patriot sales, the fact you dumb cunts want tech transfers is your own problem.
Great, you got S-400 tech transfer, lost the F-35s and all Western trust, and in return you STILL can't manufacturing S-400 because you don't have the industry, and it's STILL shit because it always was.
Wow, good job turkey.
God damn I can't wait until you cunts get booted from NATO for chimping out again.
turkey suddenly developed its own advanced air defence system. where do you think tech came from.
Yeah until it's ACTUALLY in service in any decent numbers, it's just a tech showcase.
For all you know it's literally just an S-400 put under a new coat of paint.
nice reddit spacing, i would explain to you that your moron worship and your armenian and greek lobbies are destroying the relation but your nato kicking out point just shows me youre a 14 yr old paradox gamer. im not wasting any more breath on you, enjoy your country turning completely black and latin mutt moron
i don't believe a turk is in any place to talk down to anyone
>reddit spacing
good job confiriming yourself as a redditor (or newfag).
Reddit spacing is a meme to let newfags and redditors call someone out for "reddit" spacing (which doesn't exist).
I've been "reddit spacing" on here for over 15 years.
>Reddit spacing
Or how normal people call it
>spacing
>They were offered patriot sales, the fact you dumb cunts want tech transfers is your own problem.
>They were offered patriot instead of S-400 and they chose to repeatedly say fuck NATO and sided with Russia.
Oh really? Where were these Patriot missile sales in the 1990s, 2000s and early 2010s then??
Turkey was explicitly denied Patriot AD systems and MRL systems for DECADES. That's why Turkey bought WS-1 and B-611 missiles from China in the mid/late 1990s.
Turkey also considered buying AD systems from China in 2013 since it couldn't get Patriots. Ultimately, Turkey decided against it but still couldn't get Patriot missiles from the US. Because of the 2015 shoot-down of the Russian jet followed by the 2016 Turkish coup attempt and not receiving NATO support in countering Russia, Turkey ended up buying the S-400s as part of improving relations.
It's only THEN that the US offered Patriot missiles AFTER Turkey bought S-400s. At this point the only way Turkey could even entertain that offer would be to ask for tech transfer. It didn't happen and more than likely Turkey didn't expect it to happen. On top of that it's likely that the deal would have been cancelled down the line even if Turkey bought Patriots without any tech transfer.
>Great, you got S-400 tech transfer, lost the F-35s and all Western trust, and in return you STILL can't manufacturing S-400 because you don't have the industry, and it's STILL shit because it always was.
Imagine being this delusional and thinking Turkey doesn't have one of the most robust defense industries in the world. And there was no S-400 tech transfer, moron. Just regular sale.
>The US didn't fuck turkey, turkey fucked themselves. They had accepted delivery of their first F-35 and had pilots in the US training on it
Care to explain how the UAE got their F-35 deal cancelled? Turkey was never going to get F-35s or Patriots because anti-Turkey lawmakers would never let that slide.
>start
Turkey has had a healthy military industry for decades.
>start
This has been going since the 70s. It was kickstarted due to mutt cope over Cyprus and sanctions.
Europe had some many regulations now, development of something new is forbidden and dangerous. EU 1000+ pages of regulations just for lettuce trade. It's insane lmao
>EU 1000+ pages of regulations just for lettuce trade.
Good mornings to you sir
Aw, did getting made fun of bruise your Superior European Sensibilities?
Turkey is committed to large military buildup, while european countries are just maintaining existing capabilities. European countries also have a relatively guaranteed source of advanced weapons from US and other euro countries, while turks are always on the brink of weapons export sanctions/ban
turkish stuff is what the russian stuff was supposed to be. A cheaper but still viable alternative to the comparatively expensive US built equipment. The demand for TB2s is a pretty good example, literally nothing special but its very cheap and it does the job for countries with a asymmetric war/terrorism problem.
Islam promotes science and acknowledges war as a necessary part of life.
erdogan is a neo-ottoman revanchist with a small penis who destroyed his country’s economy to spite the Greeks.
The Greeks destroyed their own economy in the late 2000s and got nothing out of it all. They're on their way it destroy it again.
how is turkey financing all that shit when their economy is dead in the water?
Building things at home is a lot cheaper than buying off the shelf
Setting up a MIC is incredibly expensive, developing the tech, software development, integrating it with various standards/equipment, building and configuring the various tooling machines, securing supply of critical components, finding construction/building/test sites, testing and re-testing and ensuring a proper feedback loop takes insane amounts of time and money.
What really makes the difference is if you get foreign buyers for your weapons which is what makes it or breaks it for a MIC. For that you need to show it's combat effectiveness. Turkey have been able to show this in Azerbaijan/Armenia conflict and Ukraine for their TB2 drones, but when it comes to other shit like missiles/APCs/whatever, most countries is on the sideline for now unless they have political reasons to cozy up to the Turks (like Ukraine or Azerbaijan).
>Setting up a MIC
This was done in the 70s and 80s.
By the same way the Russians did, lying
>the "c" is pronounced like a "j" in turkspeak

Ç is pronounced Ch as in Chocolate

J is pronounced J as in Jacques

Honestly based.
That's like a german family naming their kid Blitzkrieg
On Twitter I've heard some saying it'll be 1,000+ km actually.
The Tayfun missile that was test-fired in October 2022 was 562 km, so it's unlikely that the new missile is anywhere near 3,000 km. Definitely under 1,500 km.

It's not 3000km. Its 1000-1200km. Still a stellar development though. Turkey has been greatly expanding its ballistic and cruise missile inventory in recent years.
but why
greeks, kurds, russians
leave greeks and kurds alone
There is no explicit conflict between Turkey and Kurds and never has been. There's been conflicts involving certain sections of Kurds though, whether that be explicitly Kurdish Alevis (but not Turkish Alevis or Kurdish Sunnis) at certain points of time, or since the mid 1980s with the militant PKK and its offshoots.
Kurds are part of the political process and have full citizenship. They were discriminated between the 1980s through the 1990s because of the military junta that was ethno-nationalist, but bans against public display of Kurdish language and suppressing Kurdish names of towns (and ban on wearing religious garb in public buildings) were reversed by Erdogan after he came to power. Over half the Kurdish population supported him in the 2000s, and today 1/3 of Kurds continue to support him.
Iraqi Kurdistan (KRG) is allied with Turkey and also considers the PKK to be a terrorist org. Under Erdogan, Turkey signed a truce with the PKK in the first half of the 2010s and tried to ally with the YPG during that same time in an attempt to create a second KRG in northern Syria. But as the Syrian Civil War continued they saw power as attainable and separatism more lucrative and started attacking Turkish soldiers and police again. This left Erdogan embarrassed and even accused of being a PKK sympathizer by ultra-nationalists, so he learned his lesson and turned the heat on them. That's why Turkey has had enough of the PKK/YPG menace because they're a literal cult that can't be reasoned with.
Foreign media tends to treat "Kurds" as a monolith but they are politically and ideologically diverse just as everyone else. Even the whole ISIS vs Kurdish narrative is absurd since ISIS includes Kurdish members, and the oldest Sunni Jihadist group in Iraq (Ansar al-Islam) is Kurdish. The KRG has smaller Islamist parties too along with secular-leaning parties. Kurds were also the staunchest supporters of the Ottoman Empire when it was abolished.
This post was brought to you by Justice and Development Party
What's your point? Erdogan has Kurdish supporters, just as the opposition does. There is no Turkey vs Kurdish war. There is however a war against the PKK/YPG and after the failed peace process nobody's going to try to reason with those cultists again.
what have those 3,000 depopulated kurdish villages done to deserve it? and what has the YPG done wrong except offend your sensibilities?
>what have those 3,000 depopulated kurdish villages done to deserve it?
Conflicts involving Kurds happened in the 20th century. Some were targeting Kurdish Alevis specifically due to rebellion or discrimination, while others were in the late 80s through mid 90s when the ethno-nationalist governments of the time and the PKK were locked in a violent war which led to displacement of civilians and deaths. Yet at the same time, Turkey still opened its borders for Iraqi Kurds to take refuge in Turkey fleeing violence in Iraq. The same happened today when Syrians including ethnic Kurds and Arabs fled Syria into Turkey.
>and what has the YPG done wrong except offend your sensibilities?
The YPG literally considers PKK founder Abdullah Ocalan their own founder. They are locked in a war with Turkey and support separatism on both sides of the border and engage in kidnapping minors to boost recruitment. If they had played along and dropped the insanity they could have been an ally and actually gained legitimacy but they chose otherwise. The SDF will very likely cease to exist before the 2030s comes around.
yes and what have those 3,000 depopulated kurdish villages done to deserve it?
also, played along with what?
you again
Deterrence.
doesn't seem like you need to deter anyone anyway
Nukes are always a game changer, always. You could have the best specops, tanks and planes but those are meaningless when your opponent has nukes and you don't.
>betray NATO
The backstabbing is mutual.
what game? no one threatens you
It will immediately shut down any "Constantinople when?" larping, and cancel any hypothetical invasion plans.
you want nuclear missiles because your feelings have been hurt by 3 youtube comments? and about invasion plans that exist only in your head?
>and about invasion plans that exist only in your head?
Sure, I am also hallucinating about the active PKK... I mean "YPG" support.
Having nukes >>>>> not having nukes. Simple as that.
sorry but i can't trust a nation that does ethnic cleansing. you can't be trusted with nukes
😉
Delusional if you think the US and the EU is going to allow another Russia right next to their doorstep.
And if you think you're even remotely capable of doing anything to them you're having extreme delusions.
>is going to allow
With nukes, they won't be able to "not allow".
And that's why I said a whiff. You'll have a coup, and/or a civil war almost immediately.
Sure thing, you're still living in the 70s it seems.
alan akbar to you too, my skinfade-having kebab friend
>can't trust a nation that does ethnic cleansing
..that's like basically half the world
not many countries would exterminate or nuke entire peoples in response to one person's insult, but i'm sure turkey will

Turkey getting even a whiff of nukes is only going to cause one thing, getting bombed back to the stone age.
>Turkey getting even a whiff of nukes is only going to cause one thing, getting bombed back to the stone age.
Turkey snaps its fingers and Turkish, Ukrainian, Pakistani and other scientists start working on Turkish nukes... Who knows, maybe they already have.
Turkey snaps its fingers and Pakistan sends multiple nuclear warheads to Turkey inside 3 weeks... Who knows, maybe they already have.
It's not a question of IF Turkey gets nukes but rather DOES Turkey have nukes. Turkey has been building relationships in Central Africa which is rich in minerals and has been building strategic relationships across the world to ensure every part of the supply chain when it comes to defense production.
>God I can't wait until roaches actually betray NATO so we can just stop pretending.
Meanwhile in the real world the UK, Italy and Hungary are all planning to buy Turkish drones. More on that later.
Turkish Figes has already designed a thorium MSR they are expecting to build it by 2025
Pakistan wouldn't share it's nukes at a state level BUT Pakistani scientists would absolutely aid Turkey as they see Turks as a brother country.
>oh no, greeks, armenians and kurds are really, really threatening my country of sex pests and heroin dealers
Cenk's range covers almost the entire EU and the Arabian peninsula...
Scottish bros
We Won.
And the little brother Tayfun with ~600 km Range
Iran has at least 5 nukes and 2500 km range ballistic missiles as well as 1500km cruise missiles.
Turkey got fucked over by the West, never ever trust a toiletskin.
how did turkey get fucked over by the west?
>simp for the West that destroyed your empire
