Turkey has offered partnerships to Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Azerbaijan & Nigeria for its 5th gen fighter program.
What does /k/ think? Can muslamics do it?

This is just them thrashing around after shunning many repeated offers to make things right and continue in the F35 program. Think those S400 systems were worth it now that the whole world sees monke's equipment is a scam from the 80s mixed in Alibaba crap? Playing both sides doesn't work only one side is at the top of innovation and democratic legitimacy.
If it wasn't the S400, there was going to be another excuse. The zionists in DC never wanted Turkey to have access to F-35 or other sophisticated weaponry. But it backfires. The American senate didn't permit Turkey to purchase armed drones from US, now Turkey is exporting its hardware to 25+ countries.
We already on gen 6.
>& Nigeria
Nigeria is going to be among the top10 economies by 2040
it has big potential but there's problems that needs to be solved before that.
Yeah no way. The only thing that Nigeria has going for it is it's massive population. But they don't have the resources to manage it and the average Nigerian is quite literally getting poorer as their population growth is outpacing their economic growth. Not even mentioning the fact that there are other countries with huge populations like Indonesia that will also be more developed in 2040 but much more so than Nigeria
I heard India is going to be superpower by 2030
>Nigeria
>50/50 Islam/Christianity
>Northern states have adopted Shariah
>gigantic amount of ethnic groups with no majority.
Nah, just a lot of trouble that's going to be brewing.
the entire west african armpit is going to have a major famine in the second half of the 21st century.
>implying it's just that region
the "new world order immigration globalism liberals" etc is literally noah's ark. practically all of south asia is going to get pummelled by the processes through which the local climates on earth change. the "people in charge" are unironically just trying to keep some remnants of the hundreds of millions of browns that will starve and become carrion
there's barely anything Islamic left in those countries except maybe Malaysia but whatever floats your boat OP
Long past time to erase Turkey. They're literally taking tech from their NATO allies and profiting off it by selling it to Black person-tier shitholes.
there's a big difference between making a 5th gen fighter and mass producing a 5th gen fighter
The US still playing the world police thus needs 1000+ fighters, and huge ass production lines.
Turkey can do it, Indonesia and Malaysia maybe, Azerbaijan definitely, Pakistan and Nigeria, lol.
They are certainly going to try. I hope they make something cool.
Why even include Nigeria kek
street cred
Weird looking horizontal tail/empennage design, looks the same gloved design as the F-35 but I'm not sure why you would do that with conventional twin engines setup.
The 'J-35' and the F-22 have a more conventional tailplane setup.
Maybe it's more stealthy that way, or easier to build/maintain? It requires you to have separation between the tail and engine though, IMO that makes more sense with VTOL weight distribution where you want the rear nozzle closer to center of mass and you need more leverage from the stabilisers.
You can see how the Yak-141 also puts the horizontal tail far behind the engine.
Here is a render from TAI... Gives an idea about its final shape
And pictures from production. The tail connections are very similar to F-35
That second one is quite different to the first.
I don't get why turks didn't partner with Korea when they asked them to join the KF-21 project. Unlike indonigs, turks could have actually contributed something aside from late fees for loans.
but now the TFX has little to no future with the KF-21 far ahead of them. And I doubt sales to azerbaijan and nigeria would cover the costs.
Koreans don't own the KF-21 at all. KF-21 has many American/European subsystems and the sale of the plane to Turkey or other countries depends on American/European approval. This is why Turkey showed zero interest in the project.
Which engine?
