TR looks so ugly though, its just glued to the front guard and hanging way too low, the Tactical version with a completely replaced guard looks much better
Was the trigger really that bad? Why did a grug tier simple bullpup like this fail when other guns like the Aug and Tavor that have most of the same problems did not?
It was extremely overpriced for what it was and FN offered no support or updates for it, if any other gun manufacturer would have made it the gun would have had a way better lifecycle most likely. Maybe Slovenian will ship over their old F2000 parts kits one day.
I wish companies would let their failed designs go open source so that some autist could see what could be done to fix their product. The F2000 could've made a great base for a MA5C clone
>Anyone could legally make a complete FS2000 clone now
I don't think other anon is talking about legality, just practicality. Yeah FS2000 has no possible patents at this point, but it'd still take some real R&D to reverse engineer the whole thing and how to make it well vs if all the CAD and documents and such were just out there for anyone. Not a matter of impossibility just how high the bar is, when things are super easy for a community to dig into it makes a real difference. I've seen it a lot, humans are odd on occasion, even tiny little speed bumps seem to make a big difference sometimes in whether a ball gets rolling or not.
With 922r and general import bullshit they would need someone in the US to help them convert what ever aborted monstrosity the AFT approves for import. And really the only ones would be able to are FN. I had a pretty decent conversation with them about it at shotshow last year when I begged for them to give us the Arex Zero 1 in 32acp that they made for other markets.
Also the answer was "No, because the AFT considers it a Saturday Night Special."
Looks damn cool, and probably isn't a bad service rifle. I wonder if FN is still supplying them with spare parts and stuff for them or if they will be phased out by something domestic like the Perun X16?
I wish they hadn't discontinued the FS2000 so I could get a 300 memout version, put a can on and pretend to be a Splinter Cell
this and tri-rail front

good thread
You know brass catchers exist OP? But it is indeed a cool gun
why would you need brass catchers if your brass just gets caught in your gun from basic operation

Fn realized there was no money in bullpups
So basically a G11?
I see we're in the historical revisionism stage.

Anyone could legally make a complete FS2000 clone now, unless you mean the TDP which I agree would be a noble move.

taps your enemies
no brass as evidence
Like a revolver can do, twice?
no brass as evidence
I would bet a lot of money that you only found out about this the other day when that anon posted his.
>leaves no brass as evidence
sure, as long as you hold the gun perfectly level the whole time.
The Slovenia F2000 looks so cool with the carry handle. Def cyberpunk tier
FN really likes screws
I really liked screwing a Belgian for a while
I wonder if AREX could theoretically export these

Oh well then, maybe in the far future we might see them eventually.

>Slovenia F2000
While I appreciate Slovenia adopting a non-AR based platform, I always thought it was so random they chose the F2000
Why not an actual battle tested bullpup like the AUG?
With that train of thought no new designs would ever be adopted.
AFAIK it came down to G36 vs F2000 during trials
Why is the knife blade facing upwards?
>tfw probably the only person that has ever magdumped a full auto f2000 on this website
There is two of us now
FUTURE
But if you take another shot it'll gently plop a case on the floor.
did FN ever manage make a 5.56 rifle that is better than the AR?
