When you copy the nerd's homework, do you sit and listen to him yap about Harry Potter or do you get what you need, nod and move on?

because a lot of people who own guns nowadays see them purely as tools. the average joe with idk a mossberg 590 probably just keeps it under the bed like a moron "in case i ever need it" (he also has only shot it once, 7 years ago)
i cant speak for the entire US but here in texas nobody openly talks about guns anymore. i'm a zoomer so i'm just assuming things weren't always like this though
more people in non-cucked states are purchasing firearms, but for different reasons than people on this board.

I have no problem with them at all but all of their stuff is very niche. If you were thinking about a new hunting rifle for example keltec is the last company that comes to mind.

every company makes a sub2k and micro carry .380 now because of John Q. keltek making an empire out of injection molding and wood screws.

Have you ever used one? They are solid guns especially for their price.

        Anonymous

Not every model but yes I have used many of them. Every one I held felt or looked like shit, they're all built cheap as frick. All the pistols have aluminum slide rails and shit triggers, half of them are jammomatics. All the rifles other than the never released metal RDB are creaky shit also with poor triggers and poor reliability. I own a CP33 a P11 and a P32, I used to own an RDB and a KSG, I have shot a P15, a SU16C and a P17.

Which ones have you used or owned? How can you think anything the brand makes isn't total shit? Have you held a Glock or an AR15 for comparison let alone owned one?

          >RDB bad trigger
          Liar detected.
It’s literally the one thing haters give that design props for.

So why exactly do you go out of your way to make up stuff about guns you don’t use?

I don’t trust their QC. Otherwise, I would absolutely rock a KSG for home defence.

  15. 4 weeks ago

Keltec is a design studio with a production line. Demand for its quality products regularly outstrips supply, much of its product line is niche interest at best, new models are released with issues that had to be obvious to any QC tester, and revisions take years while often not addressing all the issues users had with the gun. People hate Keltec because it's the "ideas guy" of firearm manufacturers.

The only KelTec gun I've ever looked at and thought "I need it" is the P50. Is it good? It looks unbelievably sick.

  17. 4 weeks ago
    Anonymous

If they spent 20-50 dollars more to make the assembly and materials of each gun better and charged a little more their designs would improve significantly. It's like they almost made it to the finish line for a home run product but shit the bed completely right at the end. That's the problem. Then Ruger or some other company copies their homework and sells hundreds of thousands of guns

  18. 4 weeks ago

Because they never produce more of their cool products causing their guns to soar above MSRP.

KelTec sells some serious quality firearms. I was skeptical until I bought a sub2000 and then I was sold. Has never jammed in 2000 rounds and is easy to clean as well as being ergonomic and fun to shoot. KelTec sells serious firearms.

I really hope your joking, I said it's a good rifle but I wouldn't trust it in combat. When it jams theres no fast or easy way to clear it

          Anonymous

have you ever used an m4 in combat? the thing jams more than a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Jams don't matter.

            Anonymous

Being able to clear a jam fast does matter. Also soldiers are moronic when it come to weapons maintenance, cleaning a gun to the point where youre scraping the blueing off and fricking up the crown and not using oil because if your NCO finds a single spec of carbon on the rifle "it not clean enough durrr clean more"

Their guns just aren't finished. Releasing a rifle held together with as many screws as the RDB has is akin to publishing a book held together by paperclips. They could all benefit from another year in the oven being refined, but paradoxically that's never going to happen because the guns are released in whatever state they're in when George gets bored of them.

Anyone have a KSG410? Looks like a fun little shotgun. I kinda wanna get one because I don't have anything in 410 and it would either be this or a Judge. Seems like it would also be good for recoil sensitive shooters I take to the range, but it would give them a little more variety than just the normal 22lr rifle or handgun I normally hand them. Also seems like it would be easy to take places or on trips, the ultimate "truckgun" if you like that term (I don't really myself, but it seems to fit).

It's a solid gun! It's obviously not as solid as something like a mossberg 590, but the point isn't pure utility. It's utility + fun + innovativeness. It's a good shotgun and I really couldn't recommend anything else if your goal is to fine the most fun shotgun for the most affordable price.
