Would it be smart to load like maybe the last 10 rds on your mag that way you know when you're low on ammo or is that more just something that happens in video games.

If you need to fire 30+ rounds in self defense you are having a horrible day and are probably going to die. This stuff only makes sense in a hot war, you don't need to minmax that hard
not everything is about self-defense. some people like to prep for war scenarios because its fun.
this is the same argument as
>If you need 30 rounds to hunt then yer a bad shot!
Well what if you're hunting xenomorphs?
Let the sentry guns do the work.
Chill John corria no one its challenging your fat ass to a lard eating competition
>hey guys should I paint a giant target on my back by shooting tracers right as I'm about to run out of ammo?
I just count. I’m like the fat kid from American Dad.
love that ep
>I'm into these Hong Kong mothers for 22 large. >And 14 small.
>They charge 14 dollars for a reuben here!
P-47 thunderbolts were known to load all tracers near the end to signal that they were almost out
why dont you just count your shots or check your mag?
thirty or only twentynine?
I don't count each shot but I just get a feeling for approximately how many rounds are left in the mag. When I'm getting low I start paying attention to the recoil. It feels different when the bolt locks back. It's not scientific but I am not an oper8or so it doesn't really matter
I remember noticing that. Felt magical.
when we got tracer rounds i loaded last 5 bullets to be tracer
i would have them after every 5th round but tracers were hogged
When Inwas in the Corps, I loaded the first five rounds in my mags tracers precisely for this reason.
As I see five tracers in a row down range, I’m mentally preparing to take cover and swap mags.
Since Afghanistan I load the last 3 rounds in my mags as tracers, and a mag with nothing but tracers to tell the PFC with the 240 to shoot in the right direction.
they’re expensive bro
have you ever looked up their prices?
and 10 x the number of magazines i have… that’s quite a fortune
