Not convinced any of these still exist. Seems like there was one batch back in the spring that got used up and they're just slow trickling the footage to shore up morale.
Wouldn't be surprised if that was also just a bit of Lancet scrap from early in the war that the Ukies dragged out to say 'hey Pucci, we can also make shit up'.
Needs another drone to guide it to target but when both are up that it's pretty precise and has decent penetration.
Main issues seem to be that its really slow for a flying bomb (200km/h) and that because you mostly guide it from another drone (while it does have some partial self guiding capabilities however it seems that needs to other drone for the data bridge) it can hit low altitude obstacles that can be hard to see from top down (nets, branches, cables, etc...
Overall if it's cheap (this i don't know) it's a good and successful design.
If it's expensive than it's meh.
If it was able to work without another drone it would be better but one master drone can control several of these loitering munitions
It’s not even that good, it struggle to operate under cold temperature and it is quite unreliable in destroying artillery pieces.
The only thing it is good is damaging infrastructures which make sense because they are mainly used to destroy oil plants in the middle east
>and it is quite unreliable in destroying artillery pieces.
are you basing this off of that singular video?
why do you homosexuals do this and act like you're some authority on the subject?
almost no one has any idea how good or how shit they are.
>X-wing shit for efficiency and gives it a big profile >Needs orlans for relays and targeting >Battery powered >Shit warhead since you need to be light as frick to get 40 km range on batteries
They could literally add a bigger warhead on orlan 10 and give them forward looking optics and get a better loitering munition. Its as if someone at kalashnikov tried to get a project to pocket the money, so they made the most starwars looking drone ever with very mediocre capabilities.
Is that a off the shelf IP camera housing and lens stuck to the front of it?
No, it's from stolen Austrian speed limit cameras
People probably think you're joking.
He's not joking. (Except that it's Sweden, not Austria, unless they've expanded their theft operation.)

What's the payload on it? Doesn't seem like it can do significant damage consistently enough.
It's basically a Switchblade 300 without folding wings
If it was being fielded by a militant group it would be pretty cool.
But considering it’s being field by a “world class” military it’s kind of a joke.
jokochku

there was that one that got cought in a camo net recently but yeah Just like the terminators to low of numbers to be of any effect

that lancet was completely intact

Its effectiveness is greatly hampered by their slow kill-chain, at least from what I've heard
It can't hit moving target, it can miss stationary target
