In conventional army its ten times worse and slower. Big book of "how to handle any given situation" doesn't even exist anymore. Largely because your hypothetical situation hasn't happened anywhere in recent history where one could extrapolate knowledge from. The last similar thing was Balkans in the 90s but very little of that is applicable in your situation.

Learn carpentry.
Learn basic electrician work.
Learn basic medicine and first aid.
Learn about local flora.
Learn how to fix small engines and generators.
Learn basic vehicle repairs.
Learn to sow.
Learn to fish, learn to hunt small game. Learn to gut meat.
Learn how to improvise when glue and oil aren't available.
These things you will need already in the first week. Room clearing and tactical pretend larping probably not so much unfortunately.

I want that codified knowledge from someone who might know it packaged and disseminated. Yes I know how to talk to people, no I don't know how to talk to people in the middle of a warzone where survival and 'every man for themselves' might be lurking behind faked normalities and pleasantries. And I can't know what I don't know, so I ask someone who if it is known might know.

Second of all, there is only so much knowledge you can accumulate. You severely overestimate military, things are not often done in a logical way. Even the thinking man's units like Delta struggle with this nowadays - a single frickup means a decade of forced takes that make no sense. They permanently changed their SOPs on room clearing solely because of their adversary in Afghanistan and it will remain like that for god knows how long. In conventional army its ten times worse and slower. Big book of "how to handle any given situation" doesn't even exist anymore. Largely because your hypothetical situation hasn't happened anywhere in recent history where one could extrapolate knowledge from. The last similar thing was Balkans in the 90s but very little of that is applicable in your situation.
The skills that will help you are not sexy or cool, and it's not military related anyway.
Learn carpentry.
Learn basic electrician work.
Learn basic medicine and first aid.
Learn about local flora.
Learn how to fix small engines and generators.
Learn basic vehicle repairs.
Learn to sow.
Learn to fish, learn to hunt small game. Learn to gut meat.
Learn how to improvise when glue and oil aren't available.
These things you will need already in the first week. Room clearing and tactical pretend larping probably not so much unfortunately.

The manuals are out there. The memoirs are out there. Part of what you're describing is a situation that has never really occurred in our modern context.
