    >Main gimmick is that it has a 125mm and can carry 6 troops
    >Still has APC tier armor and can't stop 12.7mm

It's basically a shitty merkava, which is an actual tank with space for 6 troops in the back.

      Anonymous

to carry troops, merkava has to ditch everything stored in the hull (read: most of the ammo) to carry nine rounds in the turret.
the pic in the OP isn't a real vehicle. It's just more shitty clickbait.

        Anonymous

If the merkava has 9 ready rounds in the turret, does that mean the crew has to stop the tank, get out and transfer the hull ammo to the turret? While walking around the outside of the tank?

          Anonymous

No, it's like the Abrams. You can put ammo in racks in the hull, then transfer it to the ready racks while under armor. The problem with the merkava is that in order to get the "typical" ammo load, it has to sacrifice everything in the hull to carry troops.
You physically cannot store much ammo in the turret due to the low profile design.

abrams has ready rack of 18 rounds, merkava has 10
rest of the merkava's ammo is stored in fireproof cases in the back of the hull.
and no it doesnt carry troops, you can fit maybe 1 dude in the passageway from the back hatch, i think it can be used to transport a wounded soldier away from the fighting but not much more than that

It’s largely white Europeans. However, it’s been slowly stuffed with Arabs over the years and now I believe there’s so many of them the white polity has been essentially destroyed with massive Arab political power influx. The whites will never again be able to decide policy on their own. Israel as a israeli (white European majority) state is over.

again, that's if you remove every last bit of hull ammo, any other equipment the crew might want to store.
Going into a fight with 9+1 is sub-optimal for low intensify conflict, beyond stupid in a real fight.

In a pinch the Merkava can carry 2 maybe 3 soldiers in the gangway between the Hull ammo to the door but it is very tight.

Pic related is the CAD of the troop compartment of the Namer, which is the heavy APC based on the Merkava hull. It holds 8 soldiers. You seriously expect me to believe the Merkava can hold 6 because Wikipedia says so?

Looks like a good solution for a budget military, you get a light tank/heavily armed IFV with a small troop cargo, parts commonality with other Boxers you might want (AA, arty, normal IFV/APCs etc.) for probably less than a tank + dedicated IFV. The rest of the troops you can carry on trucks.

How many rounds do you think it carries in the turret?

      Anonymous

15 on that turret, more if you are ok with a slightly taller turret
      >eing an unmanned turret, it is fitted with an automatic loader; the version seen at Eurosatory has two rows of ammunition, for a total of 15 rounds, the current configuration having a width of 2,500 mm. However a third row can be added, rising slightly the turret roof, obviously increasing the number of rounds. KMW has designed a solution for reloading the turret from inside, however this was not yet implemented on the prototype seen in Paris. The firepower is complemented by two antitank missiles, hosted one each in the sides of the turret; these fully disappear inside the turret structure, two louvres opening to allow the missile to swing into firing position.

Not that I don't laud the development of lighter and hopefully cheaper 120mm turrets - especially since those are probably enough for 99% of russian tanks - but do they really need to be mounted on a full IFV like the tower of babel? That is, at the same time, loaded with several infantrymen - but very little armor for what amounts to a light tank?

It has APS, so it's a bit safer than it looks unless it's facing kinetic penetrators.

If it needs its 120mm cannon it's facing tanks, which means it's facing kinetic penetrators.

It's definitely not 125mm gun since the Germans don't make a 125mm gun, the Russians do. The Germans have a 120mm gun (used on pretty much every western tank) and a new 130mm gun.

It was the most powerful tank of the war. Not a single k-kill because the armor was so thick. Only kills to loss of fuel and a few times where it was pounded with so much HE that the crew died from concussion. If Hitler had focused on this one tank instead of all the wonderwaffle shit, he could have won WW2.

I just made all this up btw.
