This is the (more or less) situation right now.
Here you can see the rail lines.
Notice how in Volnovakha area, the ONLY rail line down south towards crimea is only a MILE away from the areas controlled by Ukraine.
The battle lines are somewhere between Solodke (Ukrainian) and Berezove (russian). That's the bottle neck for rail transit.

https://liveuamap.com/
The rail line is right in the middle. Currently in possession of russians, but... only a mile from Ukies.
Yeah, the Ukrainians can destroy that rail line any time they want. That will cripple russian military shipments to Crimea, and it will be super hard to repair unre constant ukrainian bombardment.
If you are in Crimea and are thinking about getting the frick out of dodge, these are about the last moments to do so. Soon, you won't be able to.
They really gonna start starving civvies out to claim some muddy shithole in the south? Because apparently they are already resorting to rationing food in Crimea in preparation.
Russia shouldn't have let them move into seized territories if they were just going to be living in the line of fire. Basically 8 years worth of human shields.
Well, the russkies can leave any time they want. That will save them (and the civvies) from starvation.
But I seriously would NOT want to be under russian occupation when their soldiers start starving. The brutality against civvies will be incredible. If they don't surrender, we are talking fricking cannibalism. True ork style.
I honestly think it'll be the other way around. Ukraine have been communicating with occupied cells in Crimea preparing for this moment
>The brutality against civvies will be incredible. If they don't surrender, we are talking fricking cannibalism.
have they actually done this before or is this just some propaganda? Fairly sure I've only seen one soldier eating another during this war, and he was wearing a ukrainian uniform
It's well documented that the Buryat troops prefer cannibalism over Russian MREs.
The Ukranian is the one goes to the battlefield with makeup, not the Russian
You really haven't read much about russian military history, have you? Or russian history in general.
That's how it always goes in russian cities under siege or during famines. If the soldiers don't surrender, animals start disappearing. Dogs, cats, birds... Then Old people and young children.
I am not saying this is only a russian thing. That's what happens during sieges, no matter where you are.
how is cannibalism a viable option ?
you'd only be able to survive one more week at most
also who the frick decides to live in the middle of nowhere?
esl and Reddit spacing
you want a cookie ?
Sometimes a week is all you need for the weather to change or rescue to come. It's desperation not first solution.
>dogs
Cursed image
30,000 civilians eaten
decisive ork victory
Can someone photoshop the 40km convoy from early in the war into this meat grinder somehow? Kek
I'll do you one better.
Top Kek that’s both hilarious yet extremely depressing
>muddy shithole
Mutt please
Yeah muddy shithole is hillarious. It's the richest part of Ukraine, where all the resorts and ports are, equivalent of losing Cali+Texas
They claim they're rationing to prevent panic buying, which is fair enough. Obviously they're not running out of supplies 6 hours after the bridge was closed, but it's still a serious situation.
The Ukraine army will only have to do some good old bread droppings by plane in Crimea and the humiliation of the Russian army is complete.
Crimeans are traitors to Ukraine, they all deserve to die anyway.
>noooo you have to let us keep the muddy shithole
dilate
>*Russia does something*
>XAXA SUCK IT HOHOL PIGS!
>*Ukraine does something*
>OY THE HUMANITY!
Nobody said that. Regardless, this is Ukraine doing this to Ukrainians.
There are several thousand threads doing the litteral opposite you gaslighting frick
moron
>everyone disagrees with me so my contrarianism has value
no it doesn't, everyone disagrees with you because you're moronic
Incredible strategy going on in Ukraine
The Ukrainians have hit on the basic and obvious formula so far - interdiction by bombing logistical checkpoints, followed by an attack on the now starved forces. Made possible by the fact that all the occupied territories are essentially a long thin shape with zero defense in depth that can be rolled up wherever needed through force concentration. Kherson should be the next area to fall under this strategy (again), it's basically perfect for it. Frankly, it's a surprise that communication lines aren't being cut all over the place.
starving out crime is not only an act of war but a crime against humanity
even if their american masters let them try the UN security council will step in and china will make sure america backs down
The more I read about this the more i feel Ukrainians shot themselves in the foot with this one for once
I am John Pepsi from Minnesota city in Texas and i agree, i will no longer support holhol pigs as they invade free people of Crimea
твoјa мaјкa cишe кypaц y пaклy
Tвoя мaть coceт члeны в aдy
Shot vats in the ass.
As long as the UN is allowed to bring in food it won’t be considered starving out.
>china will make sure america backs down
lol
lmao. even
Yeah i'm absolutely sure no Russians will desert in droves before that point. Not even with their weapons in hand.
Huh? Absolutely a non issue. Just let UN bring in food for the civies, and the military surrender. No problem at all. Oh Russia won't surrender? Then its on them.
Why would russia starve out their own citizens? Such weird people
Dude, if a russian soldier has to decide "Do I have to go without eating today, or do I steal the food from civvies?"
...The answer is always "Civvies can fricking starve for all I care". Always has been.
well that's not the fault of the ukrainians then, is it?
>Why would russia starve out their own citizens? Such weird people
Now in theatres!:
HOLODOMOR II: LOGISTIC BOOGALOO!
>China.
And they will do nothing
>an act of war
Kek, and what do you call the stuff that has taken place for the last 7 months?
>but a crime against humanity
Only if they obstruct humanitarian aid.
>act of war
Oh No! Hope the war doesn't start
>muh crime against humanity
Russia has been committing war crimes nonstop since day one of this war, they don't get to cry foul play now. Not now or ever.
>starving out crime is not only an act of war but a crime against humanity
Considering that crime is the only thing Russia excels at, yes, I'm sure that starving it out does seem rather extreme. Humans, however, dislike crime, and punish criminals to prevent the degradation of their societies.
>china will make sure america backs down
Best they can do is making Elon Musk post stupid shit on twitter.
Absolutely terrible, 1/10 bait. The good shills are probably still seething about the bridge.
So China was doing war crimes against themselves during the famine when they were fricking morons and decided to just grow 1 crop?
Food from where? Ukraine?
They’re not giving any food to the Crimeans lol.
From China or Iran? That’ll be expensive, and more importantly:
How will you ship it in with the Black Sea being a warzone?
What happens when the Russian troops (inevitably) start confiscating the food from civies?
All it takes is one hungry dissident to upload a video.
You think Turkey is going to let that “humanitarian aid” (military rations) into the Black Sea?
You think Ukraine isn’t going to blow them up?
>the UN security council
The USA has a veto power over the security council moron
UN are a bunch of limp-wristed cucks who wouldn't step in if Hitler himself rose from his grave, they won't do shit
>China will help them
Lol, China benefits more than the US does letting Russia collapse
>China benefits
It doesn't really matter. After Russia collapses it'll be the entire world under the US/Nato, serving US interests, against China and the Norks. They'll eventually be forced to bend the knee. Economically if possible, with force if necessary.
End-game is one big globalist government under the US. It can't be stopped now.
>act of war
What are they gonna do, attack Ukraine?
God I love glowies. Absolutely 10 steps ahead of the Russians. They are absolutely FRICKED.
The train is now departing from Kerch. Next stop - Moskva
"How is cannibalism a viable option?" It's ALWAYS a preferred option for starvation.
You can survive without eating for good three weeks. If you get some human meat once or twice a week, that can be prolonged to several months.
Here's a handy little list of "I prefer not starving to death"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_incidents_of_cannibalism
And people usually live where they are born. It's "Their land". People have roots in places that are inhospitable, and refuse to leave.
...or they are under occupation by hostile forces, and CAN NOT leave.
>You can survive without eating for good three weeks. If you get some human meat once or twice a week, that can be prolonged to several months.
I doubt you'd be able to make 2 adults survive months with only 20kg of human meat.
Also it's a lot easier to flee and find warmer places with wildlife, grass, fruits than just staying there and murder your child ???
If "your land" makes you starved maybe you are moronic to stay there.
They eat those who are already dead/starved first. It's the logical thing to do when there is nothing to eat, but it is still cannibalism.
Patriotism is beyond moronic, what else is new
Let's not forget that there are tens of thousands of Russian troops that physically prevent you from moving between cities "for security reason".
And once they start starving, they might even start eyeing at any refugees like "you look tasty". So moving away from famine areas might really be beyond people's means.
Even walking out might be unfeasable if you are already starving.
>Starve
Surely Russia has a competent enough airforce to fly in supplies right? Right?
I'd count more on russian navy being able to supply SOMETHING for crimea. But even that would be reserved for soldiers and those shipments make a very tempting target for missile strikes.
There might be some transportation using roads (in trucks) but I doubt it will be enough for big cities.
The civvies will be fricked anyways. They won't get shit from such shipments.
>Yeah, the Ukrainians can destroy that rail line any time they want.
https://nitter.it/Tendar/status/1578663007546023936#m
that escalated quickly.
>main supply route is completely cut off
>the other route is entirely within firing range of ukrainian artillery
I'd almost feel bad for the russkies if I didn't remember they're all soulless devils.
I just woke up. Did that homosexual bridge finally get got?
Giant hole on the highway part, train part also got hit because a fuel train happened to be right next to the explosion but the full extent remains to be seen
Holy frick that's awesome. My wife is in Anapa right now lol, better make sure she's not dead or inprisoned as an American spy before celebrating I guess.
Yep, first reports was a truck exploded, but latest vid says it was actually a boat that exploded below the street section of the bridge.
https://twitter.com/TpyxaNews/status/1578711005684563969
Stop reposting this dumb shit. It's a wave.
boat make wave, you can see that there are clear water, so boat make bridge go boom
Stop being moronic, you idiots act like you've never seen the ocean before.
Yeah. The rail line is blocked by burned husk of a fuel train. The burning fuel has almost certainly destroyed the rail line so badly that they will have to completely dismantle the railway and build a new one. That's assuming the structural damage to the bridge is not severe (which it might be considering the fire will weaken the concrete too). Estimates about rail line being back in service are anything from "Maybe by the new year" to "could take next spring". Military shipments over rails? Not a a chance.
Only one road bridge is still standing, but even that has been visibly bent and sagging. Probably will not support any heavier traffic. You can walk across, but let's just say I would not be the first one who drives a semi-trailer over it. Frick that.
For all intends and purposes, traffic across the bridge is stopped. Since russia does 90% of it's military supply runs on railroads, this means they now have only one rail line open from Donetsk to Crimea. And it is within Ukie artillery range.
>traffic across the bridge is stopped.
You haven't been paying attention. Both the road and rail are open, there are videos of traffic on both.
For propaganda videos yes
Apparently light vehicles (up to vans) do seem to be able to move through the road bridge.
As for rail bridge, I really would wait until tomorrow to see if there is any movement on it. A few videos filmed in the dark really could be from anywhere.
There are two rail lines on that bridge, so theoretically one might still be usable or at least the rail line might be repairable from the burned section. But the concrete of the bridge might have lost significant amount of structural integrity, so I would not say anything about driving heavy freight trains on it before some proper engineers have thoroughly inspected it.
To drive a train through the bridge without full structural analysis would be insanity. The "Allah will keep the bridge steady" kind of insanity.
Not a single engineer or architect woulf approve driving a train on that bridge without full structural analysis unless someone is pointing a gun at their head.
>implying russia gives a frick what the engineers and architects think
Alright, now drive a large military truck loaded with tons of equipment on it. Or a typical semi loaded with something basic like bags of road salt or a dumptruck with gravel. So far all we're seeing is smaller private vehicles like 4x4 trucks, SUVs, and sedans. We aren't seeing anything weighing more than 2 digit tons, and that's going to be the determining factor if these bridges can be used for anything resembling commercial or logistical use
Kek, you guys are edgy as frick.
People un Crimea are not going to starve, they still can get food via ferry ando airplanes.
>he actually thinks Russia will prioritize food shipments on the ferry instead of weapons
Doesn't russia have railway troops?
They can build a new railway down south.
No
They do have railway troops. In theory part of their job is guarding rail lines, construction/repair and moving goods. So in theory they could build more rail lines but I haven’t seen them do anything past the first four weeks of the war when they built a oil pipeline from Belarus down towards their Kiev attack. Since the withdrawal, I haven’t seen them build or do anything of note.
>All the railroad engineers got used as infantry, just like the sailors and missile security
Can you imagine?
They should take all the bodies of fallen Russian soldiers they find and trebuchet them into Crimea, all 50,000 bodies just heaved anywhere into the city, through store windows, into gardens, onto traffic lights, everywhere. I am a moderate.
The rail line from Volnovakha to Donetsk has been inoperable since 2014 and it's not clear if the Russians have even gotten it working yet. Ukraine might not need to do shit.
