Hell they still use Type 56 AK's and Type 81's in reserve/peoples armed militia/police service.

QBZ-95 gets some piecemeal modifications and stays in service, but production is over - QBZ191 gets produced and equips the best troops.

i think it looks perfectly okay
its like a mix between an AK & AR, with both the benefits & downsides
you get guys doing the "muh keyhole", but it was literally just short range rubber bullets, its just a fact
all other documentation i've seen says its actually a good rifle in design, in production however, i cannot say; though from what few i've heard of those who shot it, they said it was fine too
i think i'm most interested about the gas system, having multiple ports & adjustments, that actually looks very unique & advanced

FAL has had adjustable gas since the 50's.

think of a gas port in between another, as instead of just one at the end of the long stroke gas piston, theres another in the middle it
this gives the possibility of the most adjustable timing of any other gas piston regulated gun around, and on a military rifle no less
this leads to a rifle that can shoot damn near any ammo possible, no matter how shit
i wouldn't be surprised if the chinks stole this off secret / obscure shit from another country
from what i can remember, the rifle has 3 ports, one at the front for normal function, one at the rear for the starting of the action, and one in the middle to delay the action, making an extremely tunable system
            wouldn't you say thats interesting?

The bug fears the fact that we know it was DBP10 that was literally so shitty they had to replace the round after poor performance and were burning up the stocks by using them in guns they weren't designed for.

            Anonymous

DBP10 have brown lacquered cases not the copper washed ones seen in the video retard. DBP10 was designed for the QBZ-95-1, DBP191 is the new round specifically for the QBZ 191, with faster burning powder to account for its shorter barrel, (among other changes). I can’t help but assume that you discovered what a “DBP10” was today shut up nigga. Keep being wrong

              Anonymous

Bugs themselves have it in some of their literature as copper-washed casing for a number of DBP10s homosexual. Do a search for the image and you'll find it shutting down the bugs for over a year after I got tired of the shilling. Furthermore, DBP10A is listed on other sites as specifically being unlacquered and still in the range of shitty ammo being replaced because their ballistics sucked.

                Anonymous

Shitty ballistic performance is not what’s being discussed, it’s keyholing. Yeah, DBP10 had poor terminal performance due to its bullet design but do you have any proof that DBP10 is incompatible with QBZ191s rifling? You also still haven’t disputed the weak ejection pattern (inconsistent with duty ammo) that’s synonymous with weaker loadings of frangible ammo. You’ve also yet to explain the dimple impacts on the wall which is conflicting with ball ammo’s effects, your DBP10 proposal. (Even with tumbling in equation). Obviously actual ammo would pose risks with ricochets and spalling in close range drills, so it’s more likely they’re using their fucking frangible ammo.
You’ve just presented an alternative answer whilst failing to disprove DBF07, which has more to back it up.
You’re right about copper washed DBP10 cases though, I didn’t know, I’ve only seen them lacquered.

QBZ-191 is designed around new ammunition subtype DBP-191 5.8x42mm - it's heavier than the older ammo for QBZ-95.
It's a twist rate and barrel length issue not unlike going from M16A1 to M16A2 - it's not as severe as using M855 in an A1 apparently, but special ammunition types exacerbate the issue

We know for a fact that it's not DBF07. There are keyholes with higher L/D ratios than DBF07 in the infamous video. Bullets can make keyholes with lower L/D ratios than the bullet itself due to foreshortening, but higher L/D ratios are impossible.

No it isn't. The most popular comparison chart compares a 14.5" M4 length to something like a 24" or maybe 28" test barrel it's been awhile since I've btfo chang posters.

Ah the 'ol disappearing test barrel length routine. I've run into this one many a time debating the differences of cartridges

        Anonymous

It's a warmed over Mk262 except they made it less terminally effective by making it hardened steel penetrator tip. It's got .1g of case capacity more "if" the Chinese factories load it properly. The velocity is unimpressive when you consider most data involves it being shot out of a saw or already long length barrel bullpup.

China basically saw the m855, mk262, and 7n6 and tried to combine them all because they didn't understand why the different cartridges existed. Typical chang behavior. Their ballistic gel tests were rigged by using a SAW equivalent to get higher barrel velocity. M855A1 mogs anything China has ever put out regardless and it's mass issued and our standard. China has nothing competitive in the small arms arena.

        Tldr; Chink bad burger good.

I'm willing to wager 5.8x42 as a cartridge is also inferior to 5.45x39, esp considering we've seen the kinda work 5.45 is putting in.
The chinks thought they knew what they were doing in the 90's designing this shit for more muzzle energy/energy on target than 5.56 and 5.45, now they arestuck with multiple platforms that don't group nearly as well as 5.45x39 much less 5.56.
          QBZ-95 is another 5MOA bullpup
QBZ-191 with it's redesigned ammo is 3.5MOA at best
Meanwhile old rack GWOT M4's are 3MOA on a bad day, new AR's with all the doo dads are sub-moa, and AK-74's with a few mods are 2MOA

This reciprocating cover obviously needs to go somewhere during firing, which is why the stock and buffer tube are weirdly shaped now.
The bolt handle dust cover needs to travel into them as a separate entity.
      Lol, lmao.
Ironically due to engineering mistakes in the bolt design I can elaborate on later when I have the initial prototype pics from my PC, there is no effective way to seal the bolt/ejection port, with a large hole clearly visible behind the bolt, directly into the BCG travel path.
