>Don't know who bolt head design they stole but it's thicker than their dick pretty sure
>Takes the best of the 416 and then smash it in some cold-war old world abomination
>Their military round is superior to 6.5 grendel and 6mm arc all in a 30rnd mag
>Low bore offset so they can shoot killholes
Say something nice about it
military round is superior to 6.5 grendel and 6mm arc all in a 30rnd mag
Ok nigga
My only takeaway is that the world's largest user of bullpups just quit them
>bullpup bros...
America just brought Bullpups to the 21st century I am velly implessed!
>spider monkey length of pull
and they said that gun was best in the world too and now they just abandoned the best in the world concept
bunch of merchantile bullshitters
I hate this, for a single dumb reason - with this single step, the chinks have lost a core part of their aesthetic. Now they will be another generic force.
>I'm doing my part!
Bullshit if you think these are going anywhere.
They didn't change calibers from the QBZ-95
Hell they still use Type 56 AK's and Type 81's in reserve/peoples armed militia/police service.
QBZ-95 gets some piecemeal modifications and stays in service, but production is over - QBZ191 gets produced and equips the best troops.
Most of the PLA still uses them. It's the PLA Marine corps, Airborne and Garrison troops who prefer the conventional layout for mounting bayonets.
Why does the second guy from the right in the front row have a straight magazine instead of a curved one like everybody else?
Why does the second guy from the right in the front row have a different rifle from everybody else?
Use your brain.
Chink guns are so fucking ugly and souless, I hope they don't take Russia's place when it comes to supplying weapons to broke shitholes
Luckily their export market is entirely focused on making copies of Western and Russian guns in 5.56, .308 and 7.62x39.
They have a short stroke HK416 clone in limited production for export and for their tier one types

>"Props department, I need the most generic modern rif-"
>"The kit is already on it's way from Canada sir"
looks cool honestly but its gonna keyhole at 5ft anyway so
> we already have galil ace at home
> the galil ace at home:
It’s cooler than galil ace, boring 5.56
5 years until their next service rifle is unveiled.
>keyholes
The lower receiver looks similar to that of the M16/M4 rifle platform.
i think it looks perfectly okay
its like a mix between an AK & AR, with both the benefits & downsides
you get guys doing the "muh keyhole", but it was literally just short range rubber bullets, its just a fact
all other documentation i've seen says its actually a good rifle in design, in production however, i cannot say; though from what few i've heard of those who shot it, they said it was fine too
i think i'm most interested about the gas system, having multiple ports & adjustments, that actually looks very unique & advanced
FAL has had adjustable gas since the 50's.
i'm talking about MULTIPLE gas ports, and each of those are adjustable by themselves
do you understand what that means?
No, I don't.
think of a gas port in between another, as instead of just one at the end of the long stroke gas piston, theres another in the middle it
this gives the possibility of the most adjustable timing of any other gas piston regulated gun around, and on a military rifle no less
this leads to a rifle that can shoot damn near any ammo possible, no matter how shit
i wouldn't be surprised if the chinks stole this off secret / obscure shit from another country
from what i can remember, the rifle has 3 ports, one at the front for normal function, one at the rear for the starting of the action, and one in the middle to delay the action, making an extremely tunable system
wouldn't you say thats interesting?
No, I’m going to say it’s excessively complicated and a retarded thing to implement on a service rifle.
Actually dogshit fried in gutter oil.
It means that you won't be able to completely clean the carbon out of the gas expansion chambers without removing the gas block from the barrel.
Fantastic.
>it was literally just short range rubber bullets, its just a fact
proof now chang
DBF07 frangible ammo meant for the different twist rate of old QBZ 95s used for shoothouse training. Evidence is the ejection pattern in the video being inconsistent from regular ammo and the literal dimple impacts on the shoothouse walls. But stop pretending like proof matters to you and keep your head buried in the dirt.
>Evidence is the ejection pattern in the video being inconsistent from regular ammo and the literal dimple impacts on the shoothouse walls.
Prove it with slow-mo footage comparisons. Words are cheap, if you wanna provide evidence, then provide evidence.
You can CLEARLY see that parts of the holes are rounded.
because rifling is for farrors
what is intersting is whatch at the 8 second mark, you can see the circled impact hit and there are no other new holes nearby
actually i have a good question why are chines soldiers being taught to shoot at chinese faces, i thought they wanted to fight nato
theres this little island
oh yeah
DBF07, just look at the ejection pattern in the keyholing video and compare it
>it's just this one video with this one kind of ammo that I claim and can't prove
Produce a single video of it hitting a paper target and producing round holes. It should be really fucking easy.
Ball ammunition, DBP191.
Dumbass nigga
>censors the rifle
>this proves anything
Chang loses again.
God that rate of fire is perfect
The bug fears the fact that we know it was DBP10 that was literally so shitty they had to replace the round after poor performance and were burning up the stocks by using them in guns they weren't designed for.
DBP10 have brown lacquered cases not the copper washed ones seen in the video retard. DBP10 was designed for the QBZ-95-1, DBP191 is the new round specifically for the QBZ 191, with faster burning powder to account for its shorter barrel, (among other changes). I can’t help but assume that you discovered what a “DBP10” was today shut up nigga. Keep being wrong
Bugs themselves have it in some of their literature as copper-washed casing for a number of DBP10s homosexual. Do a search for the image and you'll find it shutting down the bugs for over a year after I got tired of the shilling. Furthermore, DBP10A is listed on other sites as specifically being unlacquered and still in the range of shitty ammo being replaced because their ballistics sucked.
Shitty ballistic performance is not what’s being discussed, it’s keyholing. Yeah, DBP10 had poor terminal performance due to its bullet design but do you have any proof that DBP10 is incompatible with QBZ191s rifling? You also still haven’t disputed the weak ejection pattern (inconsistent with duty ammo) that’s synonymous with weaker loadings of frangible ammo. You’ve also yet to explain the dimple impacts on the wall which is conflicting with ball ammo’s effects, your DBP10 proposal. (Even with tumbling in equation). Obviously actual ammo would pose risks with ricochets and spalling in close range drills, so it’s more likely they’re using their fucking frangible ammo.
You’ve just presented an alternative answer whilst failing to disprove DBF07, which has more to back it up.
You’re right about copper washed DBP10 cases though, I didn’t know, I’ve only seen them lacquered.
QBZ-191 is designed around new ammunition subtype DBP-191 5.8x42mm - it's heavier than the older ammo for QBZ-95.
It's a twist rate and barrel length issue not unlike going from M16A1 to M16A2 - it's not as severe as using M855 in an A1 apparently, but special ammunition types exacerbate the issue
someone got that leafanons post showing their export qbz also keyholed?
We know for a fact that it's not DBF07. There are keyholes with higher L/D ratios than DBF07 in the infamous video. Bullets can make keyholes with lower L/D ratios than the bullet itself due to foreshortening, but higher L/D ratios are impossible.
Looks insanely soulless when compared to the current based chinkgun.
I like it, especially the mag, it has just enough width and the right amount of curvature.
>it has just enough width and the right amount of curvature.
It looks like an SKS
Am i the only one who sees it
The Chinese have past experience making an SKS and AK have babies.
Is that handguard a Canadian design or is it compatible with AK furniture?
I wish Garand Thumb would get one for review.
What Red Dot or Holo sights do the guys at the Chinese Military use?
PLA use boring prisms. PAP use everything from Hwoyoung (Holosun OEM), to Vortex LPVOs, to Eotech clones.
It's new?
>Their military round is superior to 6.5 grendel and 6mm arc all in a 30rnd mag
No it isn't. The most popular comparison chart compares a 14.5" M4 length to something like a 24" or maybe 28" test barrel it's been awhile since I've btfo chang posters.
Ah the 'ol disappearing test barrel length routine. I've run into this one many a time debating the differences of cartridges
It's a warmed over Mk262 except they made it less terminally effective by making it hardened steel penetrator tip. It's got .1g of case capacity more "if" the Chinese factories load it properly. The velocity is unimpressive when you consider most data involves it being shot out of a saw or already long length barrel bullpup.
China basically saw the m855, mk262, and 7n6 and tried to combine them all because they didn't understand why the different cartridges existed. Typical chang behavior. Their ballistic gel tests were rigged by using a SAW equivalent to get higher barrel velocity. M855A1 mogs anything China has ever put out regardless and it's mass issued and our standard. China has nothing competitive in the small arms arena.
Tldr; Chink bad burger good.
I'm willing to wager 5.8x42 as a cartridge is also inferior to 5.45x39, esp considering we've seen the kinda work 5.45 is putting in.
The chinks thought they knew what they were doing in the 90's designing this shit for more muzzle energy/energy on target than 5.56 and 5.45, now they arestuck with multiple platforms that don't group nearly as well as 5.45x39 much less 5.56.
QBZ-95 is another 5MOA bullpup
QBZ-191 with it's redesigned ammo is 3.5MOA at best
Meanwhile old rack GWOT M4's are 3MOA on a bad day, new AR's with all the doo dads are sub-moa, and AK-74's with a few mods are 2MOA
Energy is a poor measure tbh. I want to see ballistic gel results and MOA specs of 5.8mm.
>Fixed rear sight
>Front sight on separate rail
Bit weird.
I want to rape
These chinese small arms are just tiny variations on long proven concepts.
>Their military round is superior to 6.5 grendel and 6mm arc
No it's not. And the same as above counts for rifle calibres, there's nothing new under the sun. Even the .277 fury is just an attempt to get .270win performance from a shorter barrel.
Design wise it doesn't seem to be totally horrible. I'd expect it to be Poland-tier quality - inferior to proper western stuff, but better than russian
Speaking of Poland, how are these?
Judging by how they fared in Ukraine - utter pieces of shit.
Complaints are flimsiness, shit reliability and not really outstanding in any category that could save it's ass.
The bullpup versions are vaporware and have the same issues but also shit ergonomics.
They still used them when they had nothing better but now that they're relatively spoiled for choice it's very firmly "CZ BREN at home".
I saw only a single less-than-positive opinion from a ukie soldier
not that I think they know their shit well, but the vast majority of ukies online praised the platform
obviously, fuck the bullpup version
They dropped the bullpup entirely, it looks like the MSBS has the issue of rear stocks breaking and accuracy is reported as merely adequate. Ukranians have been preferring the Bren and colt/esp Diemaco products
They also have this. Anyone know anything about it?
>reliable
>easy to mass produce
that's all you need for individual small arms, anyone who says otherwise gets their info from COD
This thing literally keyholes at like 6 meters they do NOT have the right twist rate for that barrel length + whatever version of 5.8 slop they're now making
I feel sorry for whatever zhangoid conscripts has to use this weapon to defend themselves
^this. Someone post the webm. Its a piece of shit.
see
I like the DMR version, the QBU-191, which still has full auto
>Takes the best of the 416
It's literally a combo of the worst parts of the ak and ar platforms in one gun, with a smattering of indigenous mistakes thrown in for good measure.
There are so many design flaws I could write a doctoral thesis on it's deficiencies.
As an engineer I'm actually angry that this is what the best and brightest of China came up with, every time I see this thing all I can think about is it's anemic spring loaded anti bolt rotation lever and the constant operation problems it's going to encounter in a country that is literally half windswept desert with no ejection port dust cover and I direct ingress pathway to the bcg track.
Whoever greenlit it's mass adoption should be fired.
Out of a cannon.
Into the sun.
>Say something good about it
It will hasten the capitulation of the CCP when WW3's combat devolves into mass infantry v. infantry contact.
looks cool I guess
nah
>reciprocating charging handle directly attached to the bolt
>different hole than the ejection port
The really funny thing is the decided the reciprocating handle slot needed a reciprocating dust cover too.
This reciprocating cover obviously needs to go somewhere during firing, which is why the stock and buffer tube are weirdly shaped now.
The bolt handle dust cover needs to travel into them as a separate entity.
Lol, lmao.
Ironically due to engineering mistakes in the bolt design I can elaborate on later when I have the initial prototype pics from my PC, there is no effective way to seal the bolt/ejection port, with a large hole clearly visible behind the bolt, directly into the BCG travel path.
It's smarter than it sounds: it moves in a slot milled between the upper and lower.
What is the twist rate on this thing?
1:7 apparently
so am i retarded or is this china's 3rd new rifle adoption in the past decade or what
Still probably not better than the XM7. It goes without saying that unless battlefield conditions are correct, you're not going to be running the suppressor, but the offensive potential for using a suppressed weapon during night time operations is an undeniable advantage. So I must ask, where is the standard issue suppressor?
wish they'd stick with bullpups, looks lame now
is the stock adjustable?
I guess its economical that the chinkys use 5.8 for their assault rifles, marksman rifles, light machine guns, sniper rifles, and even in their handguns and submachine guns albeit in a shorter version.
Though I would love to see a test of its performance, I can bet with good odds that its not a good cartridge.
I've heard the reason they use their own cartridge is because they want to avoid ammo/gun smuggling.
It's basically a cope explanation by /k/.
What's there to cope about? That explanation has been around longer than /k/, true or not
Nope, it started around 2008-10 when China's economy had peak media attention, then spread to the rest of the internet. It might have been a meme on AR15 or some other boomer website and spread to PrepHole, but I wouldn't know about that. Before then the question about why China had its own caliber was answered with "why not?" and the obvious logistical advantages of combining intermediate and full power rounds.
IE they don't want to face off against foes using their own ammo/weapon designs like Russia and the US have?
Not entirely false but ultimately irrelevant, they just HAD to design their own round because in their own hubris in the 1990's, they were "big" enough and it was time
>Keyholes at 10 yards
>fired by woman sized manlet pussy who will never have children
>three gorges dam gets nuked
>his entire country is wiped out
Ooooo boy fancy wifle.
The west copied it and made 6mm ARC.

I prefer the QLU-11 Antimateriel Sniper Grenade Rifle
this seems like a great way to blind all of your soldiers.
No, they planned for this - if you look carefully the fucking scope reciprocates so you can keep your sight picture while the damn thing pushes you back
>Don't know who bolt head design they stole
nagger just look at the tube and carrier. 100% an AR-18 clone, once again.
