This is basically the conventional war with Russia that NATO has always been expecting ever since the Cold War.

This is basically the conventional war with Russia that NATO has always been expecting ever since the Cold War. It's just that Ukrainians are doing all the fighting and dying but with NATO support.

I fail to see how Ukraine is moronic in this
They have 2 options either fight for their freedom or surrender and be under Russian occupation
I'd pick fighting for freedom every time

Its a good choice as historically speaking Russian occupation has meant 30% drop in overall population, and suddenly having to tolerate disgusting russian speaking subhuman minority

Russian propaganda has done all the work for them. Russians in Donbass and Crimea are so deathly afraid of Ukrainian "death squads" that they will run themselves if they think there is a chance that Ukies are going to come for them.

They don't. Rewe pulled out of Russia and Ukraine back in 2020 to focus on Italy and Eastern EU members.

Well, its either Ukrainians fighting and dying with NATO support, or without it.
Each vehicle that NATO sends probably saves up to 10 to 100 ukrainian lives on the long run.

We need to send about a 300k-3m vehicles to save every Ukrainian

If nato were actually fighting, Moscow and St. Petersburg would have been bombed by now to disrupt russian command in control. The way the Russians have been fighting they would have been expelled from ukraine by now and likely rebuilding for a counter push. This conflict is just nato providing some equipment and training. Ukraine is just tired of Russians shit and would rather die than be under the russian yoke again.

I agree, Ukraine needs more material support. And meanwhile we need to get rid of the fifth column in western countries.

Much of the anti-Ukraine/Zelensky sentiment is reflexive. For example, Mitt Romney was a massive Russia hawk in 2012. Because it's Biden at the forefront, Republicans revert to isolationism. I remember many of the Left went apeshit when the Russia spy stuff leaked while Medvedev was meeting Obama in Washington, dark forces were accused of sabotaging US-Russia relations. Now the exact same commentators are the biggest supporters of Ukraine.

It's a pretty straightforward case of supporting a smaller country against a regional bully, and of nipping this in the bud for a relatively small $$$ amount.

The poorest and most corrupted country in Europe, Ukraine with still partially old soviet command structure of it's army, divided society and 40yo NATO junk is able to stop Russia and even recapture some territories. Now imagine a full out conventional war of NATO vs Russia with NATO command structure, it's economy and modern weapons. Russia would get ass raped in this scenario if Ukraine on NATO drip is able to stop Russia.
