I've seen one TM-62 dropped from a drone (with a big 3d proonted stabilizer to ensure it landed fuze-first) and the results were pretty spectacular.

Putin believes he's winning because telling your boss the truth in Russia is how you get sent to the gulag. The KGB are loyal to Putin and will shoot or arrest anybody that disobeys.

Of course, this is...less than ideal and we're seeing a lack of living senior officers and a rash of fragging. The russian army still moves but sluggishly and clumsily.

Putin doesn't need to believe he's winning, just be unable to accept that he's likely to lose. He'll keep trying just in case something turns things around. He came close to being right too, but I think it's obvious that as Westerners increasingly get involved, he'll be denied the victory he hopes for.

          Anonymous

Also I'll add that he really was too moronic to account for this. Had they really played the "slav brothers" in practice, as in seriously punishing war crimes, treating Ukrainian POWs really well and so on, there'd be less opposition.

Essentially how bad does a war needs to be before you accept that your kids will be stolen from you, your culture banned and bottles shoved up your ass? You'd think at least some Russians would think that "XAXAXA rossya strong we'll destroy your country" might not be the best way to go at it. I guess subhumans can't help themselves.

Unfortunately, Russia can't produce the electronics to make modern tanks domestically. The manpower losses are less a population issue than a popular support one. The russian people are getting very tired of seeing their sons and brothers being sent to fight in Ukraine and never coming back.

Problem with importing labor is that you've got to pay for them. Sure, you could threaten them with prison or execution but then they'll just run back to their country of origin using the guns you gave them. You can't even threaten their families because you've got no idea where their families are. Meanwhile, russian local markets are getting crushed by economic sanctions and taxes to pay for war material and nobody outside the country is accepting Rubles so mercenaries aren't going to accept paper money for much longer.

Also, Russia has already lost the better part of a million soldiers in Ukraine already. I don't think a few thousand immigrants are going to cut it.

The thing Russia sympathisers ignore is that having more equipment, more soldiers and a bigger population usually means you are dominating on the battlefield. Needing all those advantages and its still being even is not a flex. If Russia could use their stuff efficiently they would have already won. The outcome the sympathisers want is denied due to Russian inefficiency, corruption and incompetence, and they somehow treat that as a positive thing.
The things Russia relies on are finite, no matter how much the vatniks try to deny that. If you are pro russian, wouldn't you want them to be more effective? Imagine how much more stuff they would still have then.
Imagine someone steals your car and you just cope with 'well I have a second car', true you can still manage but you are still the moron that got his car stolen and you could have two cars. And maybe in the future you need that second car. That is Russia. That complacent shit is what kills nations.

Brother, according to Russian post-election published data the people of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia mass voted for Putin. Yes, the people of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia CITIES MASS TRAVELED TO RUSSIAN CONTROLLED TERRITORIES AND MASS VOTED FOR PUTIN.

"Putin" did rig elections, but he didn't really need to, because the conditions for elections are such that no real competitor would be allowed to run against him. And even if allowed, a competitor wouldn't pose much of a challenge due to both real support and media control.
It's a vertically top-down demand from the top for local government to show better levels of support during elections. If you meet the quota you get benefits, if not you'll get problems.

Point of order: Per their own constitution, Ukraine legally cannot hold elections for the presidency (or Rada, IIRC) during a state of martial law, which has to be declared when Ukraine's territorial sovereignty is threatened (like, y'know, when the "second army in the world" invades). Even if they tried to hold an election anyways, it would necessarily be invalid.

But as Putin and the requisite government and/or government adjacent parties are pretty good about hiding the evidence, and where they are not quite so good at hiding, they just handwave the significance of any evidence away as irrelevant or "circumstantial, at best" while they glibly demand more "PROOFS" or it didn't happen.

Two more weeks is a zigger meme. Ukraine was always in it for the long run and the simple fact isw that the longer the war goes on, the worse the defeat Russia will suffer. 18 months ago they could've left with a mostly intact army. 12 months ago they could have left with a dinged-up army and intact economy. Now their army is a pale shadow of what it was 2 years ago and the Ukrainians are gleefully playing bingo with a list of russian oil refineries. And it's only gonna get worse.

For reference go check some of Perun* early videos, anyone who knows about this conflict beyond mere emotional attachment knew this was going to be an attrition war, the proyected estimate is based on declared russian vehicle pools which can be verified through third parties by satellite imagery, sites such as Osint and all the media we have of vehicles getting blown up, vatnik, like your previous communist cause there is so much your propaganda can do before reality presents itself in force, Russia is beoming a de-mechanized force.

*inb4 gaymer, he brings references which is something you yourself can go and corroborate, but we know that scares you.

Post hand, or else I sentence you to drink your tap water without boiling it. Also he's the fricking president of a country that was invaded and managed to repel said invasion for a while, and continues to. It's admirable, and I'm glad it's him and not some slobbering moron like the one who ran to Russia after his defeat in the 2014 election. Or the constant Georgian Dream frickery. I don't even give a shit that he's a israelite, because he doesn't make it his personality.

Point of order: Per their own constitution, Ukraine legally cannot hold elections for the presidency (or Rada, IIRC) during a state of martial law, which has to be declared when Ukraine's territorial sovereignty is threatened (like, y'know, when the "second army in the world" invades). Even if they tried to hold an election anyways, it would necessarily be invalid.

rational post, given the clear constraints of law here. If the Ukie govt. was to throw the constitution out the window, morale would die a quick death. It's the whole point of the war tbh. Nobody sane wants to leave a democratic society with at least some semblance of impartial law, not least because the alternative is objectively life-shortening.

You suck their wieners 25 hours, 8 days a week. And then you come here, mouth full of HIV-infested semen, and say that everyone except you got duped, that you're the only reasonable human left on earth, and that Russia, China, and fricking Yemen are more civilized places to live than the Midwest paradise you never leave your mom's basement to see.

but no, the cubenik (aka Red Square) is originally from RU telegrams claiming it was Ukrainians mashed into a cube, until it was later geo-located as being within Russia.
After that the snow Black folk and their brownoid pets claimed it was clearly dog-food/processed farming waste fallen from a truck and then proceeded to pretend they weren't the ones who brought it up in the first place.

You're a bit of discord troony/tourist so here is a pro-tip: if you search the archive around early July of last year you'll find the first threads/posts about it.

The real question is why zigger shills immediately showed up after it was posted and made a concerted effort to deny everything. What were you trying to hide, comrades? Might there be some truth to the rumors of conscripts or POWs being mixed into the meat?

Not yet, they're still dicking around up there but have been stuck at that 10km mark since it started and been getting their shit pushed in by HIMARS and artillery strikes into the Belgorod oblast. So its still 'happening', just not quickly or achieving a lot in the process.

According to one of the Ukie military adjacent commentators Puccia was pulling up equipment reserves to the Kharkiv direction a few days ago. Once those are all gone in about 2 months, we're going to see some real funny shit

There might be a bit of a bias since they totally cheaped out with the LAWs and whatever back then, and didn't give them a camera and an internet connection for instant meme videos.
I agree that they're definitely changing warfare, though.
