They will bring down the ISS for WWIII. It'll be "the sign" that it went hot.

Look for it. Soon.

That video is retarded. I maintained and operated five ultra high vacuum chambers by myself when I was in grad school. The astronauts they send up are incredibly talented individuals who can do the tasks required. There is no welding being done - modules are assembled using standardized unions. There are teams of hundreds of ground engineers remotely monitoring the health of every component.

Take it out of the sky. Nobody can be allowed to possess a space battle station for WWIII - both sides will try to destroy it. They already tried once.

So you're saying that commercial airplanes fly at 255 miles? Or that the space station orbits at 30 kft?

        Anonymous

I think he's saying that it's possible that there is a decoy ISS being held aloft and guided somehow, and the interior footage we see is from a Vomit Comet and the exterior is done in one of the "training tanks" they admit exist.

I'm not sold either way. I merely think, if the ISS exists, it won't be allowed to become a space battlestation for WWIII. It will be destroyed.

You can't bring down the iss. It's in a realtivally stable orbit. If you blew it up parts would eventually hit the atmosphere and hit the earth but most of it would stay in orbit for years.

      Anonymous

You can fire thrusters downward. You could ruin the superstructure. There's a thousand ways it could be done.

        Anonymous

There really isn't. Go play ksp and learn how orbital dynamics work. You can disable it or turn it into kibble but most of that will remain in orbit until the orbit degrades. Look at mir to see how long that takes.

As for the "send up a craft to rendezvous with it and retrograde thrust to bring it down"... Why? That's a billion dollar rube Goldberg solution to declare war on the US. You'd be better off just buying a billion dollars of drones or paying a Biden a billion dollars to get him to sell you guam.

          Anonymous

orbital dynamics mean the thing is always falling and they have to constantly boost it anyway, you don't know anything about the iss do you sweetie pie? you're just a girl...

so russia plans on waiting the 1000 years it would take for the ISS to fall out of the sky if it never boosted again? cool ill be long gone by then

so in 1000 years the pieces will fall down to earth? who cares? it wouldnt hit anything even if it fell in one piece

                >who cares if they blow up the ISS? *TECHNICALLY* it will still be in orbit, some tiny pieces of it anyway
LOL this is some very entertaining damage control.

            >falling and they have to constantly boost it anyway,

So let's use a metaphor here. By having this retarded conversation, I am constantly boosting your retarded thread. As soon as I stop replying, your thread isn't going to die right away. It will be a few minutes yet until it gets archived.

The iss does need boosts, but the reason they do them so frequently is to keep it in a perfect path. There is a lot of traffic in leo and so if it goes eccentric it could get too close to another satellites orbit and require more fuel to course correct.

If the iss we're to stop boosting it would take several years before it deorbited. Again, mir.

I like your esoteric schizo style. I would totally see them using it as an occult indicator

      Anonymous

Thanks you seem cool too anon. But I don't think this would be a mere occult signal, the ISS has Russians and US people on it by design (sometimes others) and is the perfect place to deploy surveillance as well as possibly even drop payloads and attack targets. Basically if you just shove something downward at the right moment it will impact the ground at 25,000 miles per hour and turn into something approximating a nuclear weapon in effectiveness.
