I still cannot believe we actually thought the Russians were any threat to the world.

Shits kinda materially fricked at this point. If they don't just immediately cut all the losses then do a 180 and try to reconcile with the west for reconstruction while cracking down on their war hawks they're just going to continue fighting a better supplied and more determined enemy with an economic crisis on its way and the combination of Russians leaving and dying is just going to make the future population problem worse. We might be actually seeing the real time death of a super power.

Prices go slightly up and we have to pay an extra 50 bucks a month.
Oh the humanity!
I always think it’s funny when Russians think that Europeans have to pay an extra 50 or 100 bucks (0 extra for me) a month is somehow a massive hurdle because that is a lot of money to them.
In reality it means that maybe someone has to pause their Netflix subscription, not spend as much on their hobby, not eat out as much e.t.c
>EU proclaimed that storage is 75% full
Eeehh. With EU already having plans on how to cut consumption, unless some one in a century cold spell happens they will be fine-ish. It won't be cheap for sure, but pretending that, for example Berlin, which has average temperature of -2C in winter will freeze to death is Vatnik delusions. (yes I know that as we go to the east climate becomes harsher, but east of Germany is former Warsaw pact, and those guys sure as frick are willing to bear some pain if Russia is getting fricked)
Not to mention, Uncle Sam will probably continue to flood Ukraine with Arsenal of Democracy no matter the weather conditions in Europe
And in Western europe it's still summer weather for now, Russians better hope for a cold snap before they totally collapse or even the gas stockpile is going to look like alarmism.
Ironically, we might get somewhat of a cold snap the next few days. Of course, that's because the autumn rains are starting.
Which, uh, means the vatniks in Izyum are now sitting in town with the only ways out not controlled by the Ukies being a few dirt roads... right as rasputisa is starting again.
Not good. It hurts Europe. But Europe will just buy gas from elsewhere and pile on debt. Europeans will take a hit short term. Meanwhile Russia loses its primary source of government revenue. Selling oil and gas to the Chinks and Pajeets at massive discounts won't be viable for long, once the gas price starts dropping again its not long before its not even profitable to sell in Asia at a discount.
Not to mention that the infrastructure for the storage and processing of non-Russian gas is progressing well.
A while ago Germany reported having filled up all their reserves already ahead of schedule. And last week the first massive ship that's part of a floating lng-terminal in the Netherlands has docked, with the other I think either already underway or already arrived too.
The Vatniks don't seem to understand that Russia weren't irreplaceable, they were just cheap and nearby.
Jesus. Did the Russians move troops from other parts of the NE front to reinforce Kupiansk in a hurry, making places like Lyman more vulnerable? Brecause they sure as hell didn't have any reserve ready to throw at the Ukrainians yet they still had to do something.
But that'd be like fighting fire with gasoline...
Lyman's in an ass position to defend and doesn't really have any strategic significance (to the territory Ukraine *currently* controls) beyond being necessary to block a pipe dream encirclement of Sloviansk by Russia.
Not sure if "shaping maneuver", Ukraine's trying to draw the heat off somewhere else (my guess), Russian lines just got got their pussies rekt (my second guess), or if Ukraine's feeling REALLY confident about retaking land.
>It cuts the only route left out of Izyum
You seem to be implying troops in Izyum on a retreat wouldn't try a breakthrough to the north Ukies be damned. Izyum's being supplied out of Belgorod, not the east. If their supply lines get cut and they don't resecure them, they would have to keep retreating until they make contact with a supply line sturdy enough to supply the main Izyum force on short notice. That's a mad dash to Russian rails out east.
Better to punch through to the north. Shorter drive, you'll want the supply lines back anyway, and those were the lines already supplying those troops.
The down side to the punch through though is they'll probably be dumbasses and turn the escape from Izyum into a slow rolling artillery battle because that's all they know how to do even though you can't do that shit with no supply lines. Wonder how long it will take them to realize that's a shitty plan?
>lol, the road just leads straight into the ukies
Yes, behind which are Russian rails and supplies and at least some possible reinforcements. And it's not like Ukraine doomstacked this. Just punch through, with force, suppress everything in the west, and gun it. You'll take heavier losses than you might need to by forcing shit, but you don't dick around with cut supplies unless you know what you're doing and...well, it's Russia.
You think just zerg rushing on a narrow road straight into the enemy is the best move? Have you seen the columns of death yet?

>You think just zerg rushing on a narrow road straight into the enemy is the best move? Have you seen the columns of death yet?
Their other options are sit in a contracting encirclement while their avenues for retreat get blown to shit or zerg rush a longer narrow road straight into a smaller enemy unit, but the road's longer and also it's away from their supplies and reinforcements.
Or they take their chances on rural roads, but we all know how that ends. At least the northern route might potentially come with relief supplies and forces. It's the least bad option and they should preferably take it while they've still got bridges so they don't have to do it on the fricking Ukrainian side. If they lose their bridges, frankly they're be better off surrendering.
Anonymous
It's a straight suicide mission that will never succeed because by the time they scramble the logistics together to get everyone out, the ukies have already starting going south down the river and secured the bridges.
Anonymous
I mean they actually control a few bridges around Izyum proper so if they could just not shit the bed and contract toward the bridges with a proper rearguard and then wrap around up the east bank blanketing everything to the west in explosives til they hit Russian clay, they'd only be dealing with a few detached Ukrainian expeditionary forces that made it past before Russians blew the bridges further north.
They would still be charging into prepared enemy fire, but it's not like this is some giant enemy force Ukraine's readied for them. The Russian lines collapsed. If you're gonna fricking go, go now. Not in 3 weeks when you're down to 1 fricking bridge and there's 4 times as many Ukrainians further north with their weapons already in cover.
The shitton of troops in Izyum, even forced to convoy, are going to be able to suppress the Ukrainian response to a degree. It would suck dick to have to, but every alternative is worse.

>If you're gonna fricking go, go now
that's called a "rout"

>that's called a "rout"
It's called a retreat, although knowing the Russians there wouldn't be much of a difference.
>one alternative is to turn Izyum into a Mariupol
Mariupol had a frickoff huge bunker system designed to withstand nukes literally the size of half the city and was being resupplied by helicopter and had stockpiles in place for a siege in the first place AND had secret entrances and exits for supply runs until the city became more compromised.
The Russians don't have pallets.

They can't go until their officers tell them they can go, and their officers won't tell them to do that since it will look bad for them, so they need someone higher up to allow it, and those higher up don't want to look bad so they won't do it, so basically unless Putin himself agrees to the retreat it won't happen, and the Russians will either sit there doing nothing or flee.

are mostly now in kherson. nobody knows how many btg are left in izium, but the ukrainians didnt cannonball run straight into the streets of izium because they knew there were still 27 btg there.
>It cuts the only route left out of Izyum
The route through Lyman would be absolute ass to send that main force through for both strategic and tactical reasons.
Seriously, how many times does Russia need to get a convoy blown to shit sending way too much materiel along an unsecure route in range of enemy positions? They'd be better off taking the east bank of the river up north while they've still got bridges.
Between Izyum and Kherson, isn't Russia about to have like 60% of its forces cut off from major retreat/resupply and effectively encircled cause they doomstacked in front of bridges like frickwits?
The frickers are running. they are finally fricking running. There are no living VDV in the valley. The dreaded Russian Guard and SOBR tremble when they see Ukrainians. The LDNR slave armies have melted like snow in spring. Wagner mercs forgot about money. Russian MoD is silent. Izium is encircled.
>We cannot get out. We cannot get out. They have taken the bridge and pontoons. Ivan and Vadim and Stepan fell there bravely while the rest retreated to the Chamber of Izyum. We are still ho{ldin}g...but hope …Pyotr's party went five days ago but today only four returned. The kotel is up to the river at Borov. The Chandelier in the Sky took Pyotr--we cannot get out. The end comes soon. We hear memes, memes in the deep. They are coming.
>How the frick are the oinkers moving that fast? Were Russian lines really that thin?
Combination of Russia favoring doomstacks over thick lines, slight drawdowns for Kherson and the eastern campaign, and I imagine leveling everything that might have been useful as cover with indiscriminate artillery barrages wasn't particularly useful when they wanted to set up defenses.
they probably relocated somewhere (Kherson? or to those military drills in the east for 50k soldiers)
Russian command structure is not very flexible so loosing general in command there(probably with most of his staff) did not help either...
plus they were told they are winning and Ukies will surrender in two weeks - so setting up defensive positions was low prio....
There is a unit coming in from the north. A motorized rifle brigade IIRC to the Kupyansk area but it's looking like a bad case of too little, too late.
They might probe the perimeter but Ukie armor is also heading there.
you really believe this shit? they just bump up 100 000 more professional troops mother fricker. irony here is that militias from Donetsk have bigger foreign fighter division than whole fricking NATO shit in the israelitekraine.
>just bump up 100 000 more professional troops
anon, I know you're trolling and shilling, but I'll answer you in good faith nonetheless. Puting signed an order to increase army numbers by 100 000 people. It doesn't mean the soldiers instantly appeared out of nowhere. Russia doesn't have enough troops, even with LDNR slave soldiers, to defend thousands of kilometers of the front. Today's Ukrainian successes are a proof of this.

Nothing much really. Germany was the only country that was dependent on ruskie gas, and that problem has already been solved with EU sharing mechanism
>EU sharing mechanism
and USA nearly tripling gas exports to Europe
That too obviously, but Germany did not have enough terminals for that if there was no that sharing mechanism existing.
Oh frick Europe, I want to see what happens to a petro state when its main customers tells them to go eat a dick and stops buying
>Germany was the only country
And Hungary.
Probably Italy too but they'd be seething no matter what.
Italy has backup it seems
https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2022/4/11/italy-signs-deal-with-algeria-to-increase-gas-imports
https://www.euronews.com/2022/07/18/italys-draghi-visits-algeria-for-gas-talks-while-political-crisis-continues-at-home
The US is ahead of estimates in LNG shipments to Europe. It's not as efficient as a pipeline, but every little bit helps.
And in Western europe it's still summer weather for now, Russians better hope for a cold snap before they totally collapse or even the gas stockpile is going to look like alarmism.
>tfw even global warming is on the HATO side
Redditors don't seem to understand that the world does not have excess LPG transport capacity.
Generally speaking, if your plan relies on your opponent just giving up and letting you win, it's not a very good plan.
FOUR FRICKING DAYS. How did the Russians let things go to shit in FOUR FRICKING DAYS.
2nd strongest army
imagine the cope if the same lack of defensive lines goes all the way to severodonetsk
The lines are porous as frick behind the SD
There is no line, who would be manning it? There might be few checkpoints but that is it.
Not enough manpower for reserves.
Oops! Haha
Bridge in kupyansk this morning
https://twitter.com/TpyxaNews/status/1568305026921283584?t=LFKcnw6BnxdlXDedfTWpqA&s=19
Looks fairly usable since you can swim from the gap.
Is fine tovarishch
5000000 rubles (500 dollars) for concrete and we drive tank right over, da?
Why bridge if you can pontooon
Just fill hole with concrete, is fine
pfffffffthahahaahaha
just little pot hole, pour concrete and is fixed
Fixing all these bridges once everything is said and done is going to be a pain in the ass
I wish I was in concrete and rebar business.
I am. In europe. Most of us are lready striking deals for the reconstruction.
you're not alone in feeling this, all that wasted infrastructure just guts me.
Remember the Donetsk Airport? They finished rebuilding it to modern standards in 2012.
In 2014 it was utterly destroyed.
Lots of contracts, at least. Might be able to drive costs down by using POWs as forced labor for things like clearing rubble.
it sure will, well, atleast we know what the first job openings will be after this is over
Lyman's in an ass position to defend and doesn't really have any strategic significance (to the territory Ukraine *currently* controls) beyond being necessary to block a pipe dream encirclement of Sloviansk by Russia.
Not sure if "shaping maneuver", Ukraine's trying to draw the heat off somewhere else (my guess), Russian lines just got got their pussies rekt (my second guess), or if Ukraine's feeling REALLY confident about retaking land.
It cuts the only route left out of Izyum
Wonder how long it will take them to realize that's a shitty plan?
>just go north
lol, the road just leads straight into the ukies, they're all the way to the river
>lol, the road just leads straight into the ukies
It's a straight suicide mission that will never succeed because by the time they scramble the logistics together to get everyone out, the ukies have already starting going south down the river and secured the bridges.
>If you're gonna fricking go, go now
that's called a "rout"
one alternative is to turn Izyum into a Mariupol and force the UA to divert troops to besiege the town. but without a fortification like Azovstal I doubt it would matter as much
fricked if I know which is the right choice though, caveat
>that's called a "rout"
It's called a retreat, although knowing the Russians there wouldn't be much of a difference.
>one alternative is to turn Izyum into a Mariupol
Mariupol had a frickoff huge bunker system designed to withstand nukes literally the size of half the city and was being resupplied by helicopter and had stockpiles in place for a siege in the first place AND had secret entrances and exits for supply runs until the city became more compromised.
The Russians don't have pallets.
> one alternative is to turn Izyum into a Mariupol?
With what troops, equipment and especially morale? Azov Battalion and the Ukrainian marines were fighting to defend their homes and families. Those poor Donbaweans and Buryats don´t want to be there and are already in total panic.
>Azov Battalion and the Ukrainian marines were fighting to defend their homes and families.
BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
lol bawd. Their homes in Canada? Israel? Poland?
what's wrong with bawds, buddy? they don't give you the time of the day? my favorite ones are definitely russian bawds, serbian ones are also aching for the western visa...
Oh look, the brown swede is here again!
>The shitton of troops in Izyum
are mostly now in kherson. nobody knows how many btg are left in izium, but the ukrainians didnt cannonball run straight into the streets of izium because they knew there were still 27 btg there.
Implying theres any organization left to do that
Did they forget to replace the last blown up general?
>>And it's not like Ukraine doomstacked this.
>he doesn't know
>It cuts the only route left out of Izyum
The route through Lyman would be absolute ass to send that main force through for both strategic and tactical reasons.
Seriously, how many times does Russia need to get a convoy blown to shit sending way too much materiel along an unsecure route in range of enemy positions? They'd be better off taking the east bank of the river up north while they've still got bridges.
its east of izium, aka, the only direction from which the city is not encircled yet
pic related, if Lyman really is under attack and is taken, then things are SIGNIFICANTLY worse than yesterday, Izium is fricked
Suspect they aren't sending reserves to plug the breakthrough, they're sending frontline troops instead. So this is a pinning/opportunistic action.
Fresh cope just dropped lads
That guy must be a russian. No way a fellow Finn would be this delusional.
These dogs are scattered all over the world. Should really push for random attacks on russians in europe. Man, woman or child.
He's a fricking ethiopian immigrant.
An actual Black person from the heart of africa
>That guy must be a russian. No way a fellow Finn would be this delusional.
>I must apologize for this.
I remember this guy from like 1 or 2 months ago. It turned out he was brown and living on welfare.
I must apologize for this.
take it easy hesburger lad, that is an obvious vpn if I knew any. maybe one of those funny russian expats, tops.
>I must apologize for private Lo, he is an idiot. We purposely trained him wrong, as a joke.
Wake me up when the Ukies assault Jon and Garfield
NEW KINO
Russian BMP-2 IFV hit by ATGM POV
Do...
Do I see a white and blue striped shirt?
Mmmmmaybe...
Looks like black and white which would be the marines.
Just like tuna is "chicken of the sea", Russian marines are just "Veh-Deh-Veh of the sea". Case and point: Moskva.
Oh shit. Looks like his internals are mush. He dead.
God I fricking hope this isn't real. I don't think my sides would ever recover.
VDV TAKING LOSSES
must be thousands..
it`s a BMP-3
how can you tell?
From all my hours of watching House, I can surely say that his insides are jelly.
They're in Lyman
that's a video from june btw, not sure why osints are posting this
Between Izyum and Kherson, isn't Russia about to have like 60% of its forces cut off from major retreat/resupply and effectively encircled cause they doomstacked in front of bridges like frickwits?
Maybe we don’t know how many forces are in Izium really.
GET A FEINT GOING
Only one way out of Izyum now and it's under fire every step of the way
How the frick are the oinkers moving that fast? Were Russian lines really that thin?
>How the frick are the oinkers moving that fast? Were Russian lines really that thin?
Combination of Russia favoring doomstacks over thick lines, slight drawdowns for Kherson and the eastern campaign, and I imagine leveling everything that might have been useful as cover with indiscriminate artillery barrages wasn't particularly useful when they wanted to set up defenses.
>Were Russian lines really that thin?
My impression is they stripped the Donbas and Kharkiv fronts to send reserves to Zaporizhia and Kherson
Bruh, they had paramilitary police forces from Moscow holding the line.
they probably relocated somewhere (Kherson? or to those military drills in the east for 50k soldiers)
Russian command structure is not very flexible so loosing general in command there(probably with most of his staff) did not help either...
plus they were told they are winning and Ukies will surrender in two weeks - so setting up defensive positions was low prio....
This map maker is terrible and overstimate ukr gains
They do, but it's funny to parade at vatBlack folk.
Kettle is sizzling
They are in the soup and the flame is on high now.
I heard there’s a Russian convoy heading to help izylum
From which direction?
Don’t know, could just be propaganda about brave Russians going to help
There is a unit coming in from the north. A motorized rifle brigade IIRC to the Kupyansk area but it's looking like a bad case of too little, too late.
They might probe the perimeter but Ukie armor is also heading there.
nope.. there is worse. why do you thgink russians left such huge area guarded only light forces?
Because they don't have enough troops?
>Because they don't have enough troops?
you really believe this shit? they just bump up 100 000 more professional troops mother fricker. irony here is that militias from Donetsk have bigger foreign fighter division than whole fricking NATO shit in the israelitekraine.
>100 000 more professional troops
>just bump up 100 000 more professional troops
anon, I know you're trolling and shilling, but I'll answer you in good faith nonetheless.
>Today's Ukrainian successes
where? raided the empty place leaving thousands of pig cadavers all over the landscape and jumped into another cauldron, when russians are not even using a fricking tactical aviation yet.
ohh yea.. Sleep Joe and his Hyenas just dropped another billion into Jelwnskies Florida and Paris mansions.
>Jelwnskies Florida and Paris mansions
He kinda deserves those ngl
So from which part of Nigeria are you they told me the North and the South are very different from each other
Every dollar spent killing Russians is money very well spent.
Get out, you were somewhat funny for a while, but now you are just boring.
>when russians are not even using a fricking tactical aviation yet.
And why, exactly, are they not using it?
I will gladly give up tax money if it means dead Russians
Also go back to rddit you dumbass b***h
God, learn english you Slavic mongrel. Go shit on the street or whatever else you do for fun.
comrade, kontraktniki used to mean something, maybe 10 years ago, but that new 100,000 is just Putin's latest batch of barely-trained morons both stupid and desperate enough for cash that they signed up to be HIMARS fodder
he's just desperately trying to slap a dressing on himself, but look at all those shrapnel punctures especially the ones in his side, with the accompanying spreading internal hemorrhage underneath the skin. he's fricked, poor sod.
>100 000 more professional troops
>donbabwe and luganda
>professional
you are so fricking moronic beyond the level of potato..
I hate to break it to you but real life isn't hoi4 where you just change conscription law and all of a sudden you have 1.2 million recruitable men all going to the conscription office as fast as you can raise divisions.
Doesn't even work like that in HoI4 anymore, either.
relax.. the fun will start in 4 month.. until then the shit will be only cadaver feast of pig-wariors.
God save Poutine
And his kgb-lite regime
He thought he played 4D chess
Really he was only making a mess
>one tank moves, other tank shoots

LMAO
