                Effective propaganda is emotional manipulation
Emotional manipulation requires the ability to empathise (even in abstract as Psychopaths do)
                Empathy requires being human

Ah yes, just like the 'Signature Illegible' was proof. Or the hundreds of other 'proof Ukraine bad'. I do not doubt that Ukrainian units were in civilian buildings, but so will the Russians have been. I am also pretty sure most Ukrainians are of the opinion 'we have a better chance of winning by not being dumb'. You don't HAVE to shoot the civilian buildings. You can gather hard evidence that they are in there before you attack it. But everything coming out from Russia is heavily edited, often using multiple videos from different times of year.

I support Ukraine, not just because they are not the aggressor but more importantly I remember the cold war. Putin wants to rebuild the Soviet Empire which was a threatening rival to the U.S.A. this cannot be allowed. Russia growing in strength creates a threat. Threats must be obliterated, better to do it sooner than later.

I am not interested in your moralistic arguments. Russia wants to exist as a threat to the U.S.A. Threats must be crushed.

Those are big empty buildings in time of war used by soldiers and people who lost their house. It’s also used when there’s a natural disaster, like flooding or fire.
Now, bombing a hospital, that’s always fucked up.

What a perverse lie, what a disgusting inverse of the truth. Russian torture rooms have been found in every town they have occupied, they have indiscriminately shelled Ukrainian civilians in countless cities, towns, and villages including the Mariupol theater. Russia has brought nothing but war and death to Ukraine and its people. It's publication of recording to the Russia audiences that Kremlin has said evacuate, because wether people in Kherson have been told or not or given help and resources to leave is irrelevant.
Russia is going shell Kherson from the other side of the river until it is flattened like Mariupol, no matter the civilian casualties. This is out of spite and to persuade Ukraine not to liberate any more of its cities, because Russia will level them like they levelled Kherson and killed 50,000 civilians.

I think government in general are just shitty. They're populated mostly by people hungry for power and willing to lie to get it.
Military similarly is to an extent filled with low IQ and poor people from bad homes, not always but to an extent it's true.
People everywhere are just assholes. We consume disposable plastic and fill the oceans. Even seemingly empathetic people will frequently lose any semblance of it when they get behind the wheel. People litter, shit up public green spaces, blare their loud music, don't carry their weight at work, lie to their friends or just don't take care of their yard.
People that do seem to try the hardest to keep themselves clean and act by defined etiquette just end up bitter assholes who hate the world and lose any sense of love for their fellow man becoming the that which they hoped to avoid.

So some war crimes got committed. What are you going to do about it?

So PrepHole what is the over/under on Russia destroying that hydroelectric dam? Is there any corroborating evidence showing Russians have in fact wired up that bitch? Would that shit halt Ukraines advance well through winter in the region?

Ukraine said the Russians have rigged it with explosives, not sure if that's 'we've got proof' or 'we've got proof that they're shitheads so that's what we'd expect them to do' though. I think if they did blow it up, it would be a big fucking mistake of colossal proportions and I'm not sure how other countries could seriously justify staying out if 80 cities, towns and villages were flooded by Russia out of spite, if nothing else to assist with rescue and preventing strikes on the rescuers. Maybe I have too much faith in humanity though.

        Anonymous

Would it be entirely out of spite? There is no strategic value beyond denying Ukraine infrastructure to flooding the region? Like I think I could see the US destroying the Hoover damn to halt the advance of any enemy force even if it flooded hundreds of thousands of people. Maybe Im just giving ziggers too much credit.

          Anonymous

          >There is no strategic value
Their right bank troops get from undersupplied to completely unsupplied, their left bank positions, able to shell the right bank, gets completely flooded, ukies lose many civilians, but militarily they completely secure the right bank and so being able to relocate troops on the over fronts to keep offensives there, basically achieving their initial goals for this operation.

        Anonymous

If the Russians actually were to blow up the dam they would kill off a substantial amount of troops from Kherson that have yet to evacuate and in the long term it would require Russia to evacuate Crimea. Even way back when it was a massive logistical challenge for Russia to bring water to Crimea but with the war and and the Kerch bridge fucked and so on they physically couldn't do it anymore.

        Anonymous

As long as that dam is intact isn't there still at least a pipe dream of Crimea having a long term water supply. If it goes, it may buy their evacuating forces from Kherson a little respite, but much like this war in general it would seem they're only fucking themselves more in the long run.

      Anonymous

      >what is the over/under on Russia destroying that hydroelectric dam?
They gonna flood themselves on the left bank of kherson, Zaporizhya NPP might lose its coolant, many more general problems with logistics and infrastructure in the region, whatever happens you can say it would just make everyone's life more difficult, russians in the first place.
Prolly they just gonna blow bridges and rig the rest to stall ukies advances over the dnipro, so that russians can retreat there safely without being chased.
