It's mainly used to swap barrels when they're too hot to hold.

Autism moment: CA law defines ammunition belts as magazines and linking more than 10 rounds together for one is illegally manufacturing a high-capacity magazine. So unfortunately it's not the loophole we all wish it was.

even if this was the case you could just use discarding links with some form of novel links every 9th round that have a speed attach and run a total link set length of 9 bullets, every time you hit last round just link 9 more
moronic, but possibly even faster than reloading a box magazine

You could in theory say that you linked a shit ton of ammo together during that one week of 2019

I agree I just used that image as it was easy to find.
The cool thing is the Krag is UK legal because "obsolete" so if I find one at a good price I want to snag one.
Personally I love shooting at the range my old Rubin but I don't want the paperwork bollocks to register a K31.

It's just an MCR upper on an SCR lower. FightLite won't actually sell it like that.

belted ammo is a notorious pain in the ass, and quite literally 3x as heavy as just carrying the ammo itself

        wat?
I understand it being distracting and impractical outside a box because it dangles around like crazy, but you are just making shit up now

He's probably referring to metallic links. You you could carry a cloth link I guess but it's typically not as secure.

fricking just look up the fulfilled Army ammo can weights it's all public domain you dipshits

Yeah so explain how a single metal link weighs 2x more than the cartridge it holds?
