gay b8 thread, the long range wilderness patrol and the last 2 cavalry battalions are the most sovl branches of the PLA. It must be appreciated as its own thing.
if horses are given time to adapt, then yes grass is fine food for them. The issue is if you run out of feed, they can't exactly just switch to grass immediately and perform the same.
Militias refer to ad-hoc raised paramilitary forces that the Chinese setup for specific purposes in a given locale. In this case, Uighur militiamen for desert patrols in Xinjiang.
The PLA cavalry battalions maintain their own breeding program for horsies, using either the offspring of previous cavalry horses or newly broken in animals, preferring the former on the logic that they inherit their parents temperaments as warhorses. They use the local Mongolian horse breeds and are pretty much some of the last true warhorses left in the world.
The PAP/Militias just source whatever local mount is raised in their area. Sometimes these are not horses as OP shows.
That they jack off their horses?
Yeah it's part of breeding them, they use the horse equivalent of a Tenga and then inseminate their females with the semen since mounting can be rejected and dangerous for the horses.
Horse fricking is dangerous man, you just don't do it, you will die, even the freak sex addled horse owners know this.
I know Medieval Charging Horses weren't as large as some modern breeds, but imagine someone in full plate, riding full tilt ontop of such a massive creature.
>I don’t think white people have ever lost a war to the chinese
War of the Heavenly Horses
Also, we don't have good records, but Shang were in the right time and place to have significant interaction with Scythians. We already know how much they influenced Chinese elite burial rituals, it's very likely that Chinese fended off more than a few Saka/Scythian raids in their time
and you're being very specific by only mentioning Chinks. Do I have to mention Turkic peoples and their 1500 year reign of terror?
Ming-era Chinks fricked up the Portugese, Spanish and Dutch on seperate occasions when those three tried to frick with 'em in the 16th-17th century. (When the Machun conquered the Ming, surviving Ming loyalists evacuating the mainland straight up conquered the colony the Dutch had on Taiwan at the time.)
The Spanish at one point seriously thought they could straight-up conquer China wholesale, tried to invade and then their whole invasion force got fricked up by a more proactive than normal provincial army. The court in Beijing never even realised it was more than a bigger than usual pirate raid.

A mule is more surefooted in the mountains. It can pack more than a donkey. Unlike a horse, it won't put its own life in danger just because you told it to. A horse will practically walk off a cliff if you tell it to. So if you're in the mountains on treacherous trails, the mule won't lead you into an unnavigable position.
It's a relatively safe post because it's a logistics unit.
What exactly makes mules so much better than either horses or donkeys?
IIRC? Smaller than horses, stronger than donkeys. Better beasts of burden than horses in extreme mountain environments. The Germans use them in their mountain infantry units.
Too be fair I had to search for a while. So many "American Bison" being ridden are just beefalo that look more like wooly cattle. This one clearly still isn't a purebred.
Austria still has Cavarly, mainly for transport in the Mountains, like these Haflinger coldbloods.
A war horse that can dig its own food out of the snow 0,5m deep and withstand down to -30 C degrees.
Haflingers were bred to be versatile enough for many under-saddle disciplines, but still solid enough for draft and driving work.
small but still elegant.
Cow 🙂
mooooooooo :DDD

Primitive, yet profound.
The west has no answer to this.

JAY LENO MENTIONED
I was hoping it would blow up and then it didn't blow up and I was disappointed and now I'm angry.

i wasn't baiting though, animal logistics are actually op, especially in any war that lasts longer than a month
Mulechads
Man camels are fricking great.
Reindeer - what the frick how is it even possible?
Xmas bonuses encourage better performance.
How do you think Santa delivers all those presents in one night?
Selective breeding done by santa. He keeps the überendeers and releases the genetic failures into the wild.
>by sleight
It's just a shit chart. Like comparing a ford to a nissan, but one of them has a trailer.
>those reindeer stats
Bullshit
You forgot to add food requirements. Horses, for example, need 20 pounds of feed per day and 8 gallons of water.
if you run out of food they can keep going for months though then you can eat them, they can also eat grass or whatever in the short term
>they can also eat grass or whatever in the short term
You make it sound like they'll starve in the wilderness.
if horses are given time to adapt, then yes grass is fine food for them. The issue is if you run out of feed, they can't exactly just switch to grass immediately and perform the same.
>cheetah, fastest land animal, runs at 70mph
>somehow reindeer go 90
It's nice to see Santa's elves are diversifying into the field of statistics
>militia

call me when they field a bunch of horse farmer from inner mongolia

When the edible hits 5 kilometres into the 15 kilometre march
How good are chinese horse breads?
breeds* god damn.
I think /mlp/ is the best place to get info on breeding horses.
They're pretty tasty.
short and shit
they use all imports and native bred imports for the games
still shit at jumping and dressure

very edible
what tiny horses
You just know

much more, you just know
what a magnificent beast
Is that a draft horse?
I know Medieval Charging Horses weren't as large as some modern breeds, but imagine someone in full plate, riding full tilt ontop of such a massive creature.
Steppe ponies. Small, don't eat much, don't need much water, top-tier endurance. Perfectly adapted to their task and environment.
You just know.
I was thinking the same
That'll defeat 4 chinamen at a time. Amazing
ew, is that one of those disgusting jap sex toys?
All those cows will turn into hamburgers the moment an American gets near.
>The west has no answer to this
that's what you'd like to think, chang. Canuck Chads have your number
We'll beat those chinks by christ-ACK
I don’t think white people have ever lost a war to the chinese
Vietnam, technically. China was involved.
korean war
Not a loss
China was at best a tertiary ally to north Vietnam. At best.
>tertiary
homie half of the NVA/VietCong entire arsenal were Chinese.
Not saying their contribution was negligible but the significant 'half' was Russian.
also NTA

They ride their MREs?
unironically useful, just look at how many horses the germans ate during ww2
>converts your cavalry to capitalism
What now?
It looks like an AI image it's fricking me up so much
the answer is a helicopter.
Sea mines would do the trick
I like how everything he does just makes it worse.
Wow, an actually funny webm.
The germs still have mule troops afaik. Probably a comfy and save post if you are into sports related masochism
What exactly makes mules so much better than either horses or donkeys?
They don't b***h as much.
they are literally just the best of both worlds
because they're actual hybrids.
Hybrid vigor, they took the best parts of horses and donkeys.
They can't BREED tho.
Sometimes a mule will foal, but it is as rare as a male calico cat, only saw it happen once in some ~20 years.
It's a relatively safe post because it's a logistics unit.
IIRC? Smaller than horses, stronger than donkeys. Better beasts of burden than horses in extreme mountain environments. The Germans use them in their mountain infantry units.
>quantum cows
Most celtainly implessive, it's the centuly of the chinese dlagon!
That's yak ackshully. The Wild Yak Patrol of the People's Armed Police specifically.
Riding a MRE ?
the chinese are using oxen to transport the other chinese that they'll eat later. brilliant
Holy shit guys, start the grill! The chinks brought dinner
69th mechanized yak brigade
You underestimate our desire to consume beef burgers.
Hmmmm
goes hard, ox goes harder this time though

Opinions?
hard
Found another one.
The west has no answer to this
No one does tbf
Could you mount one of these on like a hippo?
>you will never be a pilot of a mechanized elephant division
>why live?
>hippo
>tolerating human's bullshit
no
Theoretically, yes. Practically? That Hippo's gonna murder the shit out of you for trying.
Hippos are the most aggressive of Africa's megafauna. You'd have a better chance of mounting it on a rhino.
for reference

its called helicopter
Nice try Chang however it's called the Walmart scooter and it is already being used by Amerifat civilians for daily shopping.
