The Rafale is simply a better fighter jet and it's cheaper in maintenance too as the F 35 needs replacement parts after every flight so it's a good way to make money but not very reliable. Greece got a whole fleet of f35 jets even if they don't really have money to spend. Talk about corruption on a high level except everybody is looking the other way. The french fighter is faster, has a longer range and has proven it's battle worthy unlike the f35 that has success getting sold but it will be replaced by the new generation fighter jets so it's already obsolete. Drone planes are the future not manned jets. Not a big fan of french planes as their attack helicopter mirage looks awful and is no where near the popularity of the Apache. Good business model but the jet was out dated before it ever got made. Beaten by the french how horrible
F-35 wins because it's stealthy. Rafale is a very nice 4th gen jet though, it's a worthy match for an F-16
An F-35 is cheaper to buy than a Rafale tho. You can buy 4 F-35A's for the price of 3 Rafales. The initial purchase costs about the same as the rest of the lifetime maintenance. Rafale has a more front-loaded expenditure spike.
>stealth=no
Sad, you will never be a 5th generation aircraft.
My knife is cheaper than an atomic bomb

Why is it always non-French retards that are larping and doing piss poor third-world tier propaganda for the Rafale with the sole purpose of making fun of us?
It's seething anti-american thirdies trying to find anything to shit on american military power.
Anyway the Rafale is fine. Probably the best european fighter ever given its capabilies and proven in combat.
And yet head-to-head the F-35 will shoot down a Rafale before the Frog pilot even knows there's bogies in the air.
I don't know how true this is, but can't the F-35's RWR guide an AMRAAM into pitbull range?
Lmao shut the fuck up. You have buyer's remorse because decades were spent developing the Rafale, just to come up with a jet that both costs more than the F-35 and is worse in every possible way. The only advantage that it has is lower per-hour operation costs. That's literally it. Any country that operates it would rather have the F-35 instead and is at a disadvantage for not having it.
What's the tactical advantage of becoming the frog equivalent of warriortard.
>F-35 range on internal fuel
>Rafale with three (3) drop tanks
>that picture
nice primary school level of understanding airplane performance
real performance comes in graphs and looks more like pic related btw, none of the relevant numbers are constant, but for that you need more than double-digit IQ so too bad for you
Dude stfu, and I say that as a Frog. Rafale is an amazing plane, but to say it's better than the f35 is total delusion.
The rafale f4 is by far the best 4.5 gen jet out there: great payload, unrivaled omnirole capabilities, and upgraded Low Observability tech makes it the stealthiest non 5th gen jet. As a nice extra it gets to carry french nukes, but that's only useful to France. Eurofighter is a joke compared to the Rafale.
Rafale is probably one of the top 3 jets available to purchase in the world right now, but is it better or equal to the f35? No. Is it more versatile than the f35? sure

>Ceiling: 15,835m
>France doesn't even round to the nearest 100
Now this is advanced cope
let's not pretend that number has any meaning
>has proven it's battle worthy unlike the f35
The Rafale's only use in combat has been dropping ordnance on ISIS, which the F-35 has also done.
I'll still take the F-35
