Makes for some great armored warfare kino, but I don't think I'd want to be in a position where the only cover for miles around were giant, obvious "artillery goes here" treelines.
>top: efficient shelling destroying precise target in a cost-effective fashion >bottom: wasteful shelling incapable of hitting target even going all out
Some volunteer dude said that Russia is always hesitant about pushing into tree lines because of low visibility but fail to understand that it's also an equal advantage. I need to find the source but I swear I read that. Gimme a but and I'll see if I can find the interview

>obvious "artillery goes here" treelines.
that's if the enemy can hit for shit lmao
anyone got that pic of russian artillery dispersion?
>anyone got that pic of russian artillery dispersion?
>top: shoots 3k artillery shells a day IF THEIR LUCKY
>Bottom: shoots 20k-60k artillery shells a day, depending on how stretched the supply congo-line is
nafo is confused by this
>Wildly and inaccurately shoots shells because “infinite reserves”
>Cries about no shells
Wonder if there’s a solution to this problem in the image
>top: efficient shelling destroying precise target in a cost-effective fashion
>bottom: wasteful shelling incapable of hitting target even going all out
yup
makes me wonder what a napalm drop would look like on this beautiful, thin and long treeline
Hedgerow warfare making a comeback. Almost as if troops gravitate towards the only cover and concealment in their environment
Makes me wonder why Ukraine doesn't have more landmines.
It really does break wind.
It's the defining feature of most of the world, and much of Russia isn't that different.
But damn it if I haven't seen a tank jump through a windbreak and catch Russian infantry by surprise like "Gotcha!"
This fucking war man.
What does the base of fire do when the breach team does that Z-move straight into their line of fire?
i wouldn't worry about it
Shoot at them to confuse the enemy
I would be very painful
lifts or shifts fire, this is small units tactics 101
what you're seeing here is advanced warfare

Lack of training. The tactic won't work if the men don't commit to it, but the men won't commit to it if they haven't seen it work.
>Say something nice about it.
looks really excellent to send unsupported single armored vehicles through
