>It's just a good, solid tank
Man 2000-2008ish was the best. The History Channel, the Military Channel, Spike, and the Discovery Channel had banger after banger. RIP MACK
Hahaha, man I miss the Military Channel. Those were the days.
That's the fat as that told me that the Garand ping was a problem bc the wily fricking Germans would hear when the GIs were out of ammo. Even as a 12 y/o child I was like "that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard". It was the first time I remember hearing fud lore and realizing it's bullshit.
The best years were right before the dark age (Ancient Aliens)

What bullshit, The Norden sight was all wartime propaganda of what what a mediocre optic.
>The actual performance of the Norden in combat was good some of the time, but rarely great, and often terrible. Several studies revealed that as few as 5 percent of Eighth Air Force bombs fell within 1,000 feet of the target and the average error for 500-pound bombs dropped in Europe was a whopping 1,673 feet. There are examples of many hundreds of bombs aimed at a single small target with only one or two bombs reaching their mark. Some gross errors were even measured in miles.
The problem was that the design was tested in frigging Nevada, where the air conditions are very calm and dry. They didn't account for the European climate and, you know, fricking flak shaking things up.

>Love military history growing up >First exposure to Band of Brothers was when they played a censored version of it on the History Channel when I was like 9 years old >Well intentioned Grandmother buys me the full HBO boxset for Christmas one year, not really knowing the specific content, only knowing my Mom told her it was a show I watched on history channel >Watching it one day at my dad's house >Scene where one of the GI's is plowing that French farm girl, full nudity >Even I was kind of pokerfaced as a 10 year old >Dad walks in >WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WATCHING?!?!?! >Boxset confiscated for some years
I think it would be more effective if you hit the barrel with a bomb rather than the bomb sight.

Surprised you turned out a heterosexual HasGunz after what those neo Puritans did
Despite what the internet says, you can be a fully functioning adult without it
I always liked when he talked about how he'd give his men a Krumlauf, but then he'd hide under a kevlar blanket while you used it
>just a good…solid… tank…
Bros I just want more Weapons at War and Tales of the Gun
Not the good old Hitler channel, but I liked this series a lot when I was young; shame there were only 6 episodes
