Examining high-res sat imagery taken this AM of Russia's airbase in Kursk that supposedly came under mass drone attack shows nothing outright in terms of damage. No aircraft appear destroyed. This is a cursory look, analysis could change. That base has heavy ADs to overcome.

If I had a cent every time artists draw the Switch unit as a square I'd be a fucking millionaire by now.
okay now show us these photos
>photos on twitter from the drive
>SHOW US THE PHOTOS
https://nitter.net/Aviation_Intel/status/1696072184186479029#m
First casualty of being Russia is the truth more like. How's Robotyne doing? Here's some people with WEAPONS in Robotyne
If Russians were worth a fuck as a people they would not be censorious lying fucks
>thread on Kursk attack
>whatabout Robotyne
The first thread that came out was full of people saying the same - show us the satellite photos, radar imaging or at least IR and we might believe you. No photos, no destroyed aircraft.
That said, The Drive is a terrible source.
Stop embarrassing yourself.
to be fair i couldnt believe it either but the propaganda from both sides have being so stupid that you never know
Since OP is, as usual, a gay who decided not to include an actually relevant image
is probably just oil spills, mess on tarmac, that sort of thing
(no really, it probably is, this is russia)
Or tar patches to fill in damage, but I choose to think oil spill because it's funnier
so im a gay because you refuse to click on a link?
riiight
consider clicking the twitter link without having an account. no pics.
be part of elon you worthless dna cumdumpsters!
>That said, The Drive is a terrible source.
ofc i expected that someone will try to discredit the source even tho the drive is literally one of the most used source here
but then again you people use businessinsider as a source even tho they literally post opinions as sources
>most used
There are gays here that spam the board with CNN or Forbes whenever they post something that suits them.
That doesn't make CNN or Forbes reliable sources.
And no, BI isn't a great source either.
That said, like I mentioned in my original post - a sourceless claim on social media without accompanying imagery is even worse. Only exception is if the other side confirms it, e.g. pro-war Russian bloggers mention it or Peskov denies it.
does it matter tho? how can people refute literal sat photos?
Easy. Just ignore it.
I think The Drive is pretty good and the people who write for it tend to be autistic military tech nerds, like PrepHole, and it appeals to that sort of person. I like Trevithick who is very good at spamming the Pentagon with FOIA requests about really obscure shit so he does turn up interesting things. No media outlet is perfect though because they're run by people operating on incomplete information and they're incentivized to beat their competition at being first, but that's the nature of the business. They can also crank out the stories daily which takes a lot of discipline.

HEY STUPID gayS STOP POSTING TWITTER LINKS!!!
PEOPLE WITHOUT TWITTER ACCOUNTS DON'T SEE ANYTHING YOU FUCKING RETARDS!!
NO I'M NEVER GETTING A TWITTER ACCOUNT!
IF I WANTED TO READ TWITTER POSTS I WOULD DOWNLOAD TWITTER, MAKE AN ACCOUNT, AND READ TWITTER POSTS!!
YOU FUCKING WORTHLESS SHIT HEAD CUM DUMPSTER!!!!!
u mad
based
kek samefag
They're too spineless to post an image or repository link and say "Hey, look at what I have obtained. My opinion based on existing images is that nothing happened."
It always has to be about "Look, someone on twitter said something!"
Replace the twitter.com with nitter.net or whatever other nitter instance you prefer, like so:
https://nitter.net/Aviation_Intel/status/1696070712132612233
For age-restricted posts, nitter.privacydev.net is the only instance I'm aware of that's got some workaround to reliably show them, although it'll occasionally switch to a sfw backup mode if there's particularly heavy load on the site.
Nitter has been broken for two weeks, anon.
Musk restricted access to twitter API for anonymous requests, so the only instances that work are the ones which use twitter account keys for authentication.
Could've fooled me
>the only instances that work are the ones which use twitter account keys for authentication
Shit is unstable and hinges on the incompetence of twitter staff failing to block data scrapping accounts.
Yeah I'm thinking based. Fuck twittards and fuck twatter links
>so im a gay because you refuse to click on a link?
you dont belong here
>go to restaurant
>order my food
>half an hour later, waiter asks me if I'm enjoying my meal
>ask wtf he's saying, it hasn't been served
>waiter gets pissy, says it's in the kitchen
>demands to know why I expect him to deliver it to my table
>he points out the kitchen is only a short walk away, am I really that lazy?
Now, would you agree with the waiter, or would you consider him a fucking retard who needs to kill himself?
I’d be like wow that’s messed up man
I await further proofs,
but in the mean time its immaterial as to how many or how few aircraft pucca has in its portfolio.
Any shots of the base from a few days before?
the base
The colorized meme is completely retarded. It was funny once or twice. Now it's overdone hack. And it has never been funny to say colorized when it's modern era or not a photograph.
Welcome to all memes made after you turn 21. You'll notice a lot of "they're just spamming retarded shit" memes in future. Have fun
Aircraft being destroyed or inoperable does not have to lean that they "look destroyed", it could simply be that shrapnel blew and busted the engines, radar or such.
These were paper drones, for all we know the damage is more similar to that FPV drone which was used against that one AWACS plane. It blew up right on the radar, and would definitely have damaged it. But nobody believed it until they released footage, cause the satellite footage couldn't prove anything.
Also these were the tiny 4 - 5kg load literal paper drones, right? They're basically Switchblades. They'd work on sensitive equipment, but they're not blowing a giant hole in an airplane. So similarly, the visible damage would be small.
>lean that they "look destroyed", it could simply be that shrapnel blew and busted the engines, radar or such.
If there's no visible damage, how could Ukrainians be sure they made it inoperable?
not op but this is the biggest bullshit i have ever read
if a lancet is able to get literal tanks out of service
then a "paper" drone that is actually made by a steel frame with 5kg of payload travelling at 30-50km/h it most SURELY be able to penetrate the thin aluminum skin of ANY aircraft
yeah but that doesn't mean the aircraft will explode into pieces, especially if it's just launching shrapnel
sure it will shred through something but you're not seeing the airframe bisected like a javelin just shot down on it
obviously it wont explode but it will catch fire and fires...usually leave a trace and that trace doesnt exist at least on the sat photos
only if it's fueled and strikes the fuselage
russians have been caught stealing fuel since the start of the war, and we don't know what goes on behind the lines
essentially, it is schrödingers cardboard drone until we get more evidence
Afaik these drones could carry up to 5 kg of weight. Is that really enough to damage an aircraft?
This is 85gr of HE filler inside a 30mm round.
Effect is increased because the explosion was inside the aircraft, but still. Most kinds of fragmentation shot from a 5kg payload would slice anything critical inside an aircraft.
oh GREAT, another flex from the vietcong DONGOLOIDS. yes, we all know swamp asians have HUGE GIRTHY STENDOS. no, we're not letting u fuck our boywives. they say the big ones hurt anyway.
