    horizontal for quick draw
    vertical for hand cannons

What debate? Vertical tends to be slightly more expensive and harder to get right and mildly slower/harder to draw. But it's better for full size guns in terms of comfort and concealment. Standard angle is better for small guns.

Since I have a full size hg my shoulder holster is vertical, and I'm planning to do the same for the new leather one I'm hoping to have made. But it just comes down to the gun itself.

most amazing thing about that movie was showing 'Frisco prior to bum/gay/groid etc takeover.

I don't like horizontal because people could have legit beef with you muzzle sweeping them, plus I always feel like its gonna fall out if the snap gets popped unexpectedly and I'd feel like a moron and a half.

Plus vert lets my carry hand cannon or at least my G35 in style in the car doing armed guard work AND lets people see I'm strapped.

        >AND lets people see I'm strapped.
I use a vertical shoulder holster for the exact opposite reason. People can't see it when I wear a suit, sport coat, or sweater blazer and carry a full sized 1911. It also doesn't mess up my side profile with it being vertical and is much more comfortable and easy to get than IWB.

ALWAYS point your firearm at other people. Its the first rule of gun safety. Horizontal wins.

Vert shoulder holster all the way. Carries any handgun exactly as well as any other, extremely stable to draw from, looks great on dressy clothes, and doesn’t impede any actions I’m aware of. Also considerably easier to draw sitting down than anything on the waist.

Are there any good shoulder holsters that use the fancy materials they use in plate carriers like hypalon and nylon laminates?

Horizontal is faster, but vertical is probably better for conceal carry
