With the possibility of a draft coming up has anyone else thought about going underground? Ive been exploring designs for an underground room/bunker in my backyard. Id start by excavating an 8x8x8 room, reinforcing floor roof and walls with rebar concrete, and waterproofing the top with plastic liners. Ventilating wiring etc can be done easily. Then id backfill the dirt and put my greenhouse on top of it to hide it.
Do any of yall have experience with this? Are there easier ways to do this?

Cut and cover, which is what you're describing is still the best way to build a bunker. There really aren't any easier ways, just more dangerous ways. Like digging into an unsupported hillside or something, vietcong style tunnels. The fear of collapse is real though. And a shitty way to die.

I have the project to build a house in the middle of nowhere with some land i have there, i’ve looked at building an underground bunker but it’s a fucking hassle if you want it right under the house, as it would be counted as part of the house and i’d pay more. I am looking at building it further away on the land tho and installing one of those pre-made bunkers (obviously not telling the state)

The ground is not filled with structures designed to deliberately mess with radar.
Those radar images are already rather messy as it is because of random structures that actually DO interface with the radar scans at that specific region and cause interference.
If you don't match the local ground space when you are covering it back up, but also making it slightly more dense to cover up the gaping gap in the ground, there will be a noticeable region of interest.
That itself would be passed over to some team depending on who is doing the scanning, such as geophys teams to go do a ground survey with more accurate tools.

You never give them your address. You give the shipping company who doesn't know what its hauling your address and even if they opened a box it just looks like shit to build a house. Those people are picked up by you at a destination of your choosing and blind folded so they never know your address. I am not making any of this shit up if you want that level of secrecy they will do it.

I have one of these. My best advice to you if you make one of these is to not tell your neighbors or anyone you don't intend to take with you about it. Also do a really good job hiding the hatch. I own a large property so I have a nice patch with bushes and grass that I have the hatch in that no one can find.

It would take an entire 8x8 room of canned water to last a single person some months of survival.
I would drill a well and cut the casing off below ground at some point well after it was done by the contractor.
You can dip a well by hand if the casing is not obstructed by the pump, piping and electrical wire.
I have hand dipped my well and it was 180 ft. down.
This would be step one for me.
Step two would be to purchase a series of concrete vaults that could be installed in series by me with a rented excavator.
The Vaults could be as small as a large septic tank for storage or a water vault used in dairy agriculture.
After the vaults were installed a large scale subterranean living quarters could be made.
