>sometimes wounded soldiers walk around with torniqued limbs for days, long after the limb has died, gone black and necrosis has set in
imagine sharing a tent with a recently torniqued comrade that still can feel the limb. Imagine being forced to hold him down during his lucid moments as he desperatly attempts to claw the torniquet off.

Me, I wouldn't get shot at all, too fast for the Russians to hit. I'd just hit them with a little zig-zag and every shot would miss

If the limb can still be saved it should be in a torniquette for hours without letting some blood flow in. A torniquette is always the last option after everything else has failed or is not feasible.

2 hours is the maximum time a limb can be in a tourniquet for with guaranteed full recovery. 6 hours+ and the limb will likely have to be amputated, and the risk increases even more for every hour after that.

I’m surprised they don’t have aerial med evac. That was a big part in how the IS prevented casualties in the war on terror with medevacs and PJs being ballys enough to fly in hot LZs. I guess Russia has decent enough anti-air to prevent it or do they just not have the helicopters to make it viable?

Yeah you'll lose your team of paramedics and pilots too often to make it worth to increase the chances of your guy by few %. Ukie casevac is still western tier, just airevac is a luxury you only have when fighting sandBlack folk.

Ukraine had a pretty small helicopter fleet, even before the war started, so even if they wanted to, their casevac capabilities aren't particularly robust.

So that's why we have multiple videos of russians shooting themselves? Very sad.

You recon this is someone's grandpa? Killed himself in Ukraine for Putin's dreams, very tragic.

i wonder how many brave wounded ukranian heroes have been granted a express 9mm ticket to heaven as a means of mercy

Is there any other war that is so well documented as the one in Ukraine? Where we can see people doing shit like this?

Thinking of the fight against ISIS, but never saw someone off themselves instead of being captured or bleed out.

I don't care about the russians, but dropping bombs on a man who just killed himself is real Black person behavior
You can go ahead and call me a vatnik now and rationalize it by saying russians aren't human, get it out of your system

He didn't he was passed out after the initial drone drop, and the drone operator did him a service instead of leaving him to wake up later in utter agony.

This one he wasn't actually trying to kill himself, he was trying to load his gun or something one handed but he gave up due to injuries, so they drone dropped him later to quicken his exit.

That's not how they work and I am willing to bet my left nut that casevac is shorter than 6 hours with obvious exceptions.

Stop posting on /k/ and do your homework. Tomorrow is a school day.
