The unit that was rotating through NTC lost it. And the morons had the wrong serial written down, so they just assumed it was missing. (from what I heard.) I was on that rotation, they were searching every car leaving base and It took them like ten days to declare it missing.

If you know who did it and don't report them you are committing a crime if you are bound by the UCMJ. So there is that. Philosophically allowing a crime like this undermines the foundations of our civil society, and failing to act when you can makes you personally complicit in the slow slide toward either anarchy or tyranny.

This just assumes that 100% of the ANA's equipment was captured by the Taliban (it wasn't)

        Yeah? Who has it?

          Anonymous

The US unironically in some cases. A lot of the aviation left the country. There are literally dozens of Afghan helicopters sitting in US boneyards. Some of that equipment listed wasn't even in Afghanistan at the time, 5 Mi-17s were in Ukraine and stayed there. Current estimates of total airframes that the Taliban has is ~17. The numbers on other equipment is wildly incorrect too. The Afghans got less than half that number of Humvees period so its physically impossible that the Taliban had captured that many. Your numbers assume that the Taliban captured everything ever earmarked for Afghanistan even if it never entered the country and that it was even serviceable to begin with.

            Look at this cope lmao
The Taliban were hanging infidels from Blackhawks and do patrols in MRAPs

You glowgays need to learn when to pick your battles better, this is just embarrassing. The US abandoned billions of dollars of military equipment over in Afghanistan and the Taliban is using it - it's unimaginably moronic to try to argue with that, to the point where I presume the only person who would make that kind of argument is an interested party.

We get it, you're coping because it makes your employer look like absolute fricking morons. You're embarrassed. You should be.

It was ANA equipment, not US, a distinction some find hard to understand but key to why it was wildly impractical to either retain or destroy.

What does that have to do with anything? The numbers is likely scewed and the amount of equipment on hand(not on paper) is very limited to the point they only equip those equipments for their special forces. Even then, those equipment are for the ANA. Whatever happens to them is none of our business, thank trump for that.
