I should’ve picked a cheaper hobby bros

Inb4 the travel meme
>t. has never left his hometown
Travel is fun as shit. I went to San Juan last year and got to visit El Morro National Park. It's got so much history, amazing views, and there's a fuck ton of iguanas everywhere.
>and there's a fuck ton of iguanas everywhere
Please, tell me more.
So you know how the continental states have squirrels everywhere. That's basically the iguanas down there. They're fucking huge, and mean as shit. Their tails are wayyyyy longer than their captive raised cousins, and hurt a lot more when they whip you.
No moron, the travel meme is referring to lile how airheaded girls that dont know shit about fuck or have any interest in a place or locations culture or history just want to "travel" for the pics and to pretend to be interesting. Traveling is not a personality, but it is cool and helps growth. Traveling is cool, your hobbies shouldnt prevent you from doing it but simply traveling as a hobby is eh. Gay.
>there's a fuck ton of iguanas everywhere.
are they friendly
At a distance. If you try to catch them, they'll bite and whip the fuck out of you.
I don't regret any of my purchases tbh. I've traveled a fair amount, too. I guess if I never bought any guns I could've quit my job and taken a yearlong travel vacation but then I'm come home as a nogunz and get killed by liberal terrorists.
How poor are you?
I make about $95k/year and live with my gf who makes about the same so pretty comfortably middle class for my area
Yet you can't buy guns and do other stuff?
>tfw you calculate how much money you’ve spent on guns and think about all the amazing stuff you could’ve done with it
You mean buy better guns?
So many poor choices along the way, sometimes you pay for the lessons learned
I've spent more money on cars and I travel so free so I don't feel bad about it. Plus if I needed to, I could get atleast 80% of my money back out of it which isn't bad.
>could get atleast 80% of my money back out of it which isn't bad.
The nice thing about guns is that they are a pretty good investment. They almost never depreciate in value if you maintain them and you can always find a fudd boomer who will take it off your hands if you want to sell
So what amazing stuff would you have done with all that money OP?
Well I’ve wanted to do more backpacking out west
you dont need alot of money for that.
my only regret is I did not buy more guns and ammo
>spent thousands on women
>never again
kek glad someone else said it
>tfw you calculate how much money you've spent on your last gf
>I could have a fucking semiauto Ma Deuce right now
You are a true consumer.
>thinks women are worth it
acquire more arms and ammunition.
Why? Sounds hot and boring.
Idiot.
Not an argument
Idiot babble should not be entertained as intelligent conversation or debated it should be mocked and idiot should reflect hopefully improve and come back with an actual intelligent thought. Idiot.
I wouldn't have it any other way.
Beautiful collection m8
Imagine being into cars. Our hobby is relatively cheap.
would have bought less guns and more ammo
Idiot. People do this all the time with anything. Waste 500 bucks on a new console? Few hundred bucks on fa shit jacket shoes boots etc, meanwhile the 2k repair on your car has gone ignored because its too expensive and poor is a mentality little kid shit spending 500 bucks 4 times is easier than spending 2k once. Its not the hobby thats the problem senpai, it's you. Get your head straight.
>I should’ve picked a cheaper hobby bros
Should've just got the damn PSA and moved on with your life instead of the $1200 DD matched with the $1100 Acog & $900 suppressor plus $200 tip.
All of my guns are gone up in value
If you're not beating either at least the housing market, if not the stock market, you're really falling behind
Guns aren't my primary investment, but I haven't technically lost money on them either. That's my point.
My collection has increased in value at least 3x, my ammo 100% gains.
Just got into photography. Boy, quality glass is universally expensive.
>wait, it's all Japanese glass?
>always has been
the only money you really spend is on consumables. everything else has at least some recoverable value. also, what the fuck is the point of having money if you don't spend it on stuff that brings you joy and/or makes your life better?
I used to race cars, guns are and order of magnitude less expensive.
>I should’ve picked a cheaper hobby bros
that's nice sweaty, I planes.
Everything, especially guns & ammo, is getting more expensive over time while our fiat currency inflates to hell. The rulers know that a hungry mob is an angry mob, so they work hard to make weapons difficult=expensive to acquire; therefore guns & ammo become more expensive faster than other commodities during an inflationary currency death spiral, no matter how protracted, across the long run.
The revolver you bought for $400 years ago is now worth $1400.
The S&W revolver you bought before Hillary had to have her holes on it is worth a lot more than a brand new one, and way more than you paid for it.
That "assault rifle" you've got over there is going to be worth about $50,000 in a few years.
In short: you are -- to use the parlance of finance -- "invested long on guns" or simply you are "long guns." This is a great investment position to be in. You get to fingerfuck & shoot your investments -- your guns -- and still resell them whenever you like for way more than you bought them.
In a way, you're kind of a financial genius, and you should feel good about holding these appreciating investments while fools waste their money on fleeting frippery like fancy dinners at expensive restaurants and stupid vacations to tourist traps.
The best part about your investments is a special option -- unique, even -- which each of them provides: you can just point it at someone and tell them to surrender, then take all of their money. Your investment can produce DIVIDENDS.
>think about all the amazing stuff you could’ve done with it
More like think of how more efficient I could've spent it.
If you buy guns that are nice odds are good they'll keep their value at least. Most hobbies can't say that
