Was it a nice clean nail or a rusty nail sticking out of a pile of dogshit?

      doesn't matter
      >Rust does not cause tetanus infection. The Clostridium tetani bacterium is generally found in dirty environments. Since the same conditions that harbor tetanus bacteria also promote rusting of metal, many people associate rust with tetanus. C. tetani requires anoxic conditions to reproduce and these are found in the permeable layers of rust that form on oxygen-absorbing, unprotected ironwork.

    >Likely, you can contract tetanus from it...
Any nail hanging outdoors is likely to have the capability to contracting tetanus if it pierces skin.
Though it is often more common & aggressively progressive when in tandem with gashes from heavily rusty metal...

Just get a tetanus booster shot within a week as a precaution.
It'll prevent you from getting tetanus, prevent it progressing into lockjaw levels if you already contracted it & you'll be fine if you ever get a similar injury for a few years after.
You really don't want to live your life with seizing up muscles and spasms, much less live a normal life drinking out a straw like a useless gimp.

If the nail was touched by a gay person in the previous day, he could also get homosexual illness. That is how they spread. Also with plastics. So, he should be preparing his anus to be perforated by other gays.

Tetanus is the on the nail in particular. It's on everything. What happens is it grows in the anaerobic part of your body left by the puncture wound.

Go to urgent care and get a tetanus booster and have them think about debriding it. It's been so long now they'll probably just leave it and give you antibiotics and tell tell to watch it.

when i was younger i used to end up in the ER like once a fricking year from sports accidents, and they would always ask "when was the last time you had a tetanus shot" and its like i dont fricking know, recently? youre the fricking hospital with the computers and records, what the frick. so i would just skip the tetanus shot like half the time or 2/3 the time hoping i havent actually skipped it the last 8 times... supposedly hot is good for ten years

Yes, you contracted tetanus and you'll inevitably die this week.
You should really see a doctor if you're truly worried.

Another made-up disease to get you to take the israelite-injection "vaccines" like a good goy ought to.

So-called tetanus has nothing to do with rust. It is caused by organisms that live in the soil. If you were just pierced by a rusty piece of metal, it's not an issue. If the rusty thing was covered in soil as well then you can:

    a) Take one teaspoon of gum spirits of turpentine mixed with one teaspoon of sugar.

This will purge any harmful bacteria, parasite, fungus from your body. You only need to take this if you feel sick, and only until you feel better. Recommend to take for 3 days then skip 2 days to let your body rest, as turpentine will kill a variety of harmful organisms in your body. Depending on how many there are, you may feel flu-like symptoms for several days.

Tetanus has nothing to do with rust or nails. The bacteria can live virtually anywhere, and is only a problem for you if it's punctured deep into your flesh. The rusty nail association comes from an example best-case scenario for filling the requirements of an infection, most infections today come from kitchen knives while cooking.
