Its got one of those little 12lb hobbyist turbojets. Damn that is cute. Probably should be piston engine though tbqh not hard to make the propeller fold

Cruise speed is like 500 km/h, final approach speed can be as high as 840 km/h. Those mini turbines probably are cheaper and lighter than a folding propeller + engine that works at 500 km/h

          whats the warhead weight?

Payload 6kg, total weight 35kg (there's some incorrect claims of 35 kg of payload or 30kg of total weight)

So what exactly is a loitering munition? If it's piloted by a person then isn't it just a drone?

a munition that can loiter around after being launched until it find a target to go boom on. Yes a drone can be a loitering munition

The main difference is that once launched loitering ammo can't return to base.

Dumb missiles don't return to base either. Are dumb missiles loitering munitions?

    >have a turbojet
    >still use thermals
    >mmWave
    >cheaper to make the radars
    >can work in bad weather
    >better object recognition due to 3d data
    >cons: can be jammed
Why didint they go with mmWave like brimstones ? Optics like those are half the price of the damn missile
