Why are you so moronic and incapable? Have you ever once performed any measure self sufficiency in your life? Why do you love being a b***h of the ammo company?

That's one if the worst options possible.
I'd take 300 BO over that pistol caliber trash

Sure, if you prefer weaker subsonics and weaker supersonics.

          Anonymous

300BO supers are superior to 350 L supers, and 360 l doesn't even have many sub offerings, let alone ones that feed in semiautos.

            Anonymous

There are at least two commercial subsonic loadings in 350L both of which cycle my AR flawlessly.
Winchester Super Suppressed 255 grain and Hornady subsonic 250 grain. I bought those 250s from Academy on Saturday morning. They didn't have any BO subs available, though.
            >meanwhile 350L will drive a 124 grain bullet to 2500 fps while BO struggles to hit 2200
Yeah/lol. 350 does everything better than 300, especially slinging subsonics because it's got a longer case to accommodate longer bullets.

Not him but the sectional density you're obsessed with isn't going to do anything meaningful on target and the loads in 300bo of that weight are going to be inferior in fragmenting/expansion.
Also, the popular hornady 300BO subsonic loadings expand at peak to about the initial size of a 350 legend bullet.

                Anonymous

350 legend doesn't fragment, hunting rounds in general don't fragment.
Sectional density is very important in hunting, it will dictate penetrstion depth, especially with expanding bullets, which is why 350 legend is a failure round, you're loading up shotty pistol bullets, way to light for the bullet dia. All to placate 5 shithole flyover states who use draconian hunting regs to try and buttfrick gun owners, when better straightwall AR loadings already existed.
If you live in one of those shitholes, there's better options than 350 legend, if you don't live in one of those shitholes, there are many better options, 300blk being one of them.

                >anything will fragment driven fast enough and the 124gr xtp pistol bullets definitely will at those speeds
                >hunting bullets not fragmenting is personal choice. Plenty of people use fragmenting.
As for penetration depth: yeah. I wouldn't use that light on anything bigger than mule deer.
                >Surprisingly few results on stated SD in the caliber but the 180 grain options seem to have a higher SD than the 120 area 300BO. Judging by the BC on the 180s it is very likely higher.
                >I too hate the reason 350 had to be created but I like the idea of larping with a western AS-VAL and that's why I'll defend it.

                >more energy

                >subs that actually expand and still tumble
                >non-pathetic penetration
                >better case capacity
Yeah, 350 is everything BO wanted to be but 25% more mass or 50% more muzzle energy.
                >nooooo you don't have any cans though!!!1!1!
                Pic related.

    Nah, it's obsolete.
Makes sense if you have a nice old gun from Grandpa, you've got an angle on a pre-'64 Winchester, or something like that but there's no reason to buy a new gun in a dead caliber.

Better than 7.62x39 but for CHUDs, aka 7.62x39

Shouldn’t it have the potential to outperform x39?

          Anonymous

          Turdy turdy?
Technically it already does, 300BO and x39 are near identical matches.
30-30 will drive heavier bullets the same speed or faster, they just are shitty flat nose ones with low BC, so 300blk and x39 will start to outpace it around 100yds or so.
If you handled 30-30, and single load it in a lever action, or have it in a bolt gun or something, you can get pointer bullets damn near .308 velocities from it.

You can load pointy bullets in a tube, unless you're dropping the gun off a building they're not going to chain fire. Old ass soft primers would be an issue, but they're not so you're g2g.
