Water will freeze on the surface of the car if its below 0º. So the problem is not the water freezing in the hose, its primarily making pools of ice around the car and freezing on the car.
So its easier to wait for +1Cº and just wash the car then, despite snow that is melting around it.
The problem with your idea isn't the idea. It works fine. Its a good solution. Its a bit expensive, but it works.
The actual problem is that the runoff freezes
Or you could just go to a damn gas station or car wash and get it done, which will be cheaper then buying the tent and the heater.
Okay thank you. I am in a area where it usually does not get below freezing even in the winter time though sometimes it does.
So there is zero problem with washing the car during the day if it is above freezing? It is not above freezing during the night in the winter time though….
I know that is cheaper but I want what I want. Privacy and money is not really a concern
How about the hose freezing? During the winter here it is sometimes above freezing and sometimes below freezing.
