The argument was to ask if it was good looking. It actually has character, it looks like something more than a brick, unlike glock, while still being chambered in many different calibers
Isn't it the same with the glock? The lever just turns a cam such that the slide can come off. The glock has that locking tab that you slide down to do the same thing. Two different methods for basically the exact same function. And you have to pull the trigger of a glock to dissemble.
>The glock has that locking tab
Faster and secured to the frame
You don't have to use the lever. You can pull the trigger like a glock too. It's just an option.
My man. Think about how dumb the average person can be. Then realize that statistically 50% are dumber than that. That's the kind of person you're dealing with. I've owned gun for 16 years and never had a ND. On here these mouth breathing muppets would have you believe that it's common. Lets rank the difficulty here 1-10.
You're saying "I won't waste my time on something that's a 1.5 on the difficulty to take down scale because there's a gun that's a 1". It's like dude, they're both so simple a toddler could do it, wait wait.... is there really that much difference to you? If so... uhm... if you really NEED it to be THAT simple, then I guess you need it.

Lmao, the "locking tab" (actually called the slide lock by Glock) is absolutely not secured to the frame. A tiny flat spring is the only thing that holds it in, and does so with a little bit of spring tension.

Same, just shoving a pinky through the ejection port is reflex at this point.
Why do you spergs cry about having to pull the trigger. Is it seriously that hard to make sure you're gun isn't loaded? I have zero fear I'm gonna shoot myself disassembling my firearm.

there was nothing complicated in that manual, you stupid frick >springfield owner
thought as much
This. The disassembly lever allows you to NOT have to pull the trigger. If you don't want to fish around for the little lever to pull up it takes down EXACTLY like a Glock, but easier, since you just lock the slide back and turn a lever 90 degrees instead of doing the stupid 3-handed operation of pulling both sides of the disassembly tab, pulling it back a bit, and pulling the trigger. Holy fricking nogunz here:
[...]
The problem is that you still must pull the trigger in spite of the disassembly lever, achieving nothing but redundancy
I like how the slide looks but I hate how their grip looks. The grip ruins the gun's aesthetic. Maybe if it was covered in grip tape or something it'd look better. Honestly if it jsut did't have the lines going through it and the grip was monolithically textured it'd be nicer looking.
It's funny. The only people I find who really care whether or not a gun looks good, and I mean care enough to go on and on about it online, are the people who don't own any. I've got a butt ugly FN FNAR that shoots sub MOA 5 round groups and keeps a full 20 round mag to around an inch. It's one of my favorite guns... why? Because it's a fricking laser beam and fun as frick. There's nothing quite so confidence inspiring as a shooter than to be behind the trigger of a gun that you know can out-shoot you, meaning if you get better the gun will do it for you. At that point, who gives a frick how the gun looks. It's the best way to determine no-guns on this board. They go on and on about how cool or ugly a gun looks.
In the second place, you're telling me a generic polymer striker fired pistol looks good. It's like saying the Nissan Murano is a better looking car than the Toyota Rav4. They're both generic ass cars that just kind of exist, who cares what they look like.
>It's funny. The only people I find who really care whether or not a gun looks good, and I mean care enough to go on and on about it online, are the people who don't own any.
Objectively false I own a BCM AR-15, a Kel Tec RDB, and a few handguns and I bought all of them because I thought they looked cool. I don't shoot my rifles often but I put around 300 rounds through my CC piece a month.
Where does this binary brain moronation come from? You know I can have guns that look cool and are reliable? >hurr durr you bought a kel-tec
After I bought a reliable AR-15. The guns I'd bet my life on both look cool and are reliable.

fine, replace the nissan murano with any other bullshit "SUV" in that size range like a chevy equinox or a ford edge or a honda pilot or a hundai santa fe. Don't be dumb.
there's not. there's something wrong about exclaiming to the internet "that gun is ugly, therefore it sucks". which people do on here all the time, mostly no-guns. The point is you can buy guns that look cool to you as much as you want, but caring that they look cool, and exclaiming that they look cool, especially here, is shit brained.
It's like this. Basically all of my exes had the cars they had because "it looked cute". Meaning they felt it suited their personality. My wife, thank god, has more sense than that. There's something about never having to work on her lexus at all ever except for consumable parts like fluids, belts, brakes, and sensors. Does the car look good? It looks okay, but I fricking love her car. See the difference?
You don't understand
In his book, it needs to be the simplest, tool-free disassembly possible, for when you're surrounded and down one arm in the middle of the apocalypse but you have to perform your routine 500-rd cleaning in the middle of being pushed by a band of raiders as quickly and efficiently as possible, otherwise the handgun is NOT good to go, brother
>see 2 striker fired handguns >both perform exactly the same >same reliability >one is a bit easier to clean than the other

I just had the realization the glockgays are the civic fanboys of the gun world. They start a cult around a basic and reliable thing and the insist you have to dump it same amount of money as you paid for it into aftermarket parts and then it becomes the best gun in the world at everything.

I used to have a glock 19, ditched it for a CZ75 because I thought striker guns were just shitty.

thanks anon I never knew I could skip the gay levers
Has more charecter than a glock, and thevslide is stainless that is then coated for.max corrosion resistantce
I think Glock reaches the point of being so plain and boring that it loops around to give it a unique character.
What's wrong with a disassembly lever?
