Summer Jackets for Hiding Bigger Guns

Are there any decent dapper summer jackets I could wear that would make me look uber sophisticated while enabling me to conceal large suppressed handguns?

Dunno but I admire your goal and spirit. Switching men to all "casual" is a conspiracy by liberals to rob real men of shoulder holsters.

You can hide a large handgun under an unbuttoned suit jacket easily. I CC'd a 12" OAL revolver to my sister's wedding last month. This wasn't even program compliance I just wanted to see if I could.

Just do what the secret service do and wear tailored suits that are cut overly wide at the waist. You can CC a P90 no problem, be it a summer or winter jacket.

Pretty annoying for daily wear. In fact, I hate wearing cargo pants during the summer. The only reason I do it is because I don't want to look like some jackass kid in his teens or early 20s. Also, what if you suddenly need to get some work done and get a little dirty?

Then wear a travel or fishing vest. They're not too hot and you can carry some massive pistols inside them. Works well for women, too.

Wow. Those are pretty based, anon. Where would you get one that's very breathable that would be able to fit a Glock 17 with an Omega 9K? The total setup is around 12 inches long and a little less than 5 and a half inches tall.

Either shop online for travel vests, or visit a camping clothes store.

Thanks for a classy thread, OP.

It’s not so much a specific brand but rather the style of cut that you would need to consider. As pointed out, oversizing your waist and chest is the most reasonable method, they also go a size up in 007 films during action sequences so that Bond can move better.

A suppressor is quite the challenge but I would think a shoulder rig is your best bet. Falco makes a pivoting one where it sits vertically for maximal concealment but you can tilt it forward for a smoother draw. Phlster Enigma is the other obvious choice as it is a self contained system but that’s for under trousers not jackets.

Please redpill me how to get a suit like this. I will donate $5 in monero to you if you redpill me as much as possible on this subject.

After looking that up, how would that work with a suppressor? What if I wanted to upgrade to a 10mm with an Omega 45K in a Black person-infested zone?

Also, I would be wearing my shirt underneath my pants like a civilized human being, so the gun would be rubbing against my tummy. Would this be fine?

nta but tl;dr is that you do it by spending money. You
          1) For the cheaper way, go to a store, preferably with some acceptable dummy size thing that won't get you kicked out (or a store that is ok with this), and just try on jackets until you find one that works. As anon said the easiest way is to know what is a relative good fit for you and your size, then go up a size or two on the waist/chest measurements as if you were a bigger guy there. If you're not a morbid fatass this will do somewhat ok. There exist pretty light weight sport jackets too. This won't look great but these days fewer and fewer men have decent cut jackets/suits anyway.

          2) Nicer, more expensive: search around for local tailors, they do still exist. You go to them and explain what you want and then get a quote, pay them and do what they say. They'll do full measurements, and then customize it to look as good as possible on you specifically given the desired compromise.

In both cases patterned or dark clothing may help, though dark of course is hotter. And in all this don't forget the holster part, it helps a TON to have something that really hugs your body and minimizes sharp hard edges/shapes. You might not pay for a custom jacket/suit but instead pay for a custom or at least high quality holster.

And I would bring the gun with me I want the suit tailored to?

Same as the rest: you'd ask the tailor. This is all local and individualized so there isn't really any generic advice here have to play it by ear, my tailor (probably though I suppose there is some infinitesimal chance we live in the same area of the same state and you come across the same guy) isn't yours. They may be totally fine with you just bringing it. They may prefer you bring a dummy model instead which you could do with a piece of wood or something pretty easily, or squirt gun of roughly the same size for that matter. Or they may go OH MY GOODNESS NO GUNZ >:( and refuse to talk to you further though in America I'd doubt it. In that case just try someone else. Assuming you don't seem like a total fricking creep schizo it probably won't matter.

On PrepHole, I was told to get a travel vest. I ordered the one on Amazon with the biggest side pockets. I hope it will fit my Glock 17 with its Omega 9K suppressor, and hopefully a Glock 20 with an Omega 45K suppressor, for whenever I go to Black person-infested areas.

I found your PrepHole thread, but nobody said anything about travel vests. They just suggested fanny packs.

the type of "men" who think that picture is at all realistic or stylish are either 50-100+ pounds too heavy to wear a jacket with any taper whatsoever and need to wear medically indicated compression socks at all times, or are woefully underweight hispanics with feather thin mustaches

I used to wait on a billionaire and his ugly wife and 3 kids and he would pull up in a 96 Toyota, get it valet’d, order a cheap bottle of Chianti for him and his wife and some entrees and would typically tip 60-80%.

I just wear a button up short sleeve plaid over a t-shirt and it covers up my ppq just fine. Yeah wearing a plaid short from bass pro pretty much outs me to other people who carry but who gives a frick, those red head shirts are comfy and breathe.

I still don’t get how CCing under a jacket like, works. I have a GREAT Bianchi shoulder holster (the kind where the gun points down) and a GREAT Cebeci shoulder holster (where the gun points behind you) and in either I need my jacket open for it to not look like a tumor, and now I cannot take off my jacket indoors which is hot and autistic. Do you guys not check your jackets at the doors of establishments? Do you guys never button/zip your jackets? Do you only visit the houses of friends who are fine with you looking like Miami Vice indoors? I feel comfortable jacket carrying when in my car and when walking outside on days between 50 to 70 degrees and not running or exerting myself… which is uselessly niche. Pic unrelated.

Bro I carry a .32 I can’t get any smaller. This also doesn’t solve the “not being able to take the jacket off” thing, it’s not like a smaller gun is any less visible when completely uncovered.

You can get holsters that allow you to tuck your shirt over them. Do you know what Google is?

Thanks dude. I was completely unaware IWB carry exists, and was asking about an entirely different carry style entirely out of ignorance and not out of curiosity for the entirely different carry style.

NTA but they obviously just don't take the jacket off. shoulder carry relies on you having a jacket or button up to cover the gun. most people I hear of carrying with a shoulder holster have a smaller gun they carry IWB when they can't use the shoulder holster
